"Y-You have to get out of there! It's not safe! D-Do you need any help getting out?" Jessica shouted into the burning buildings as she noticed the people cowering inside. Hearing that the fighting nearby seemed to have died down, she added, "I-I'm not going to hurt you! It s-should be safe to come out now."

"I suppose war turns all men into animals..." Tiberius replied.
Savranth approached Tiberius and Noel. "As she said, now what?"

Tiberius thought. "Now, we see which side can win this conflict. Whether either country started the war or not, neither will accept any other terms. Legaia would see a plea for truce as a sign of weakness and if we told them of Blake's actions being his own they would at best see it as us trying to deflect the blame, and, at worst, as being our fault as he is one of our soldiers. There is no other option."

Athena began to move the block of ice, that was Blake, to be transported.

The family looked scared of Jessica. "W-Who are you?"

The man came out of his home, a little scared looking at Adam's uniform being a little worse for the wear.

Sable would find that the Legaian base was in an uproar.

Adam smiled kindly as he led the man towards the faint sound of Jessica's voice.
"Hello? Somebody alive 'round here?"

"It will be impossible to try to bring them to reason in this state of panic. It appears that the cycle has begun." Sable portals to Castlewood to evaluate the situation in a less chaotic area

"Yes yes I'm coming. Keep your pants on!" The same voice from the inside. The door opened and a 5'2" beaver beastkin greeted him. "Can I help you?" Clarence said to Loki, a tad bit gruff.

Ness, hearing Tiberius, suddenly thought of something. "There may be another option... What if we said these actions were of someone alien to these lands?"

Sighing a bit, Yukino moves a bit away from the goon's position as she uncloaks herself. Her ears and tail drooped a bit as she uncloaked, due to her cloaking for so long, Looking quite a bit downtrodden and tired, she looks around for people who might knowmore about the mythril mines.

Jessica's ears drooped a bit as she noticed the person's fear towards her. "I'm..." She began, but paused to think of what to say that might put them at ease. "...just someone that doesn't want someone to die in a war if I can help it. Now do you need help?" Picking up on Adam calling out, she shouted, "There's some people in a burning building here!"

Dumbfounded by the phrase "keep your pants on", it took Loki a short while before actually answering Clarence. "You posible can. I was told you are the one who leads this town. Is that correct?" he asked.

Having collected a sizable sum of money from the various shopkeepers, the goon returned to Icarus' palace, but didn't enter the throne room. Instead, he entered the treasury and closed the door behind him. Walking to a safe, he fished a small bronze key out of his pocket and opened it. After depositing the sack of gold in the safe, the goon left again, heading towards his home.

Yukino would notice various citizens of Rocbyrd were still outside. There were a few shopkeepers tending to their stalls, as well as miners that presumably were on break.

"Could you try and deflect the blame on us?" Noel asked, keeping a neutral face. "If that doesn't work, then to war it is then."

OOC: Well... things look like they've turned bad.

Dal'Sheed listened as Tiberius explained the consequences of Blake's actions. "Crap, Blake was just as pretentious as the high council against the Bahro." His head sunk down a little.

"And if the conflict is blamed on me, then I'll never get into the museum at Fourside. I need to get closer to those artifacts." He said.

"You would have us just blame some unknown person or force without any proof?" Tiberius asked Vanessa. HE looked to Noel. "Are you aware that the Legaians would want your heads as proof? Just blaming it on some random mystery people would not be enough."

"I don't think that would be in your favor. Don't you all have lives to lead back home?" Savranth added.

"Nor do we... Where are the defense forces? Why didn't they come?" The man asks.

The man that Adam had met followed him. "What is going on around here?"

"Well I keep the only major income to this town afloat, if that's what you're asking. Who wants to know?" Clarence stated.

Adam approached Jessica and turned to the group of civilians.
"I'm from the Legaian military. Come with me if you want to live."
He turned back to the civilian.
"The Xiphatians are attacking. One of them ordered his men to burn you all alive. The rest of my team are taking care of him."

"I...they didn't? I-I don't know..." Jessica admitted to the man. "Now do you need help getting out of there?" Jessica then began looking over the buildings to see how the fire had progressed and if it were still a viable option to try and talk the man and his family into letting her help.

"Given you are tasked with such a thing, I would say that indeed makes you the leader of this place." Loki remarked as he looked down at Clarence. "Who wishes to know is a man with several questions regarding this town and the forest surrounding it. I am Loki. Might I ask of you a moment of your time?"

Ness scratched the back of her neck a bit. "What I was getting at was what Noel had suggested. And if proof is needed to blame us, then... all we would need to do is have one of us sacrifice ourselves... correct?"

Yukino stretches herself out a bit as she approaches the miners. [color=bb66bb] So I can hit big guy in the wallet by stealing that key... or by destroying his mines... Guess I'll go about doing both~! [/color]

Due to her cloaking and the somewhat boring stalking subject (aside from learning about the treasury), her voice took on a bit of a tired tone. [color=bb66bb] "Excuse me... I'm looking for the mythril mines around here... Could you point me in the right direction?" [/color]

Noel stood at attention at Tiberius. "Well the Legaian soldiers that raided your forward base would have at least reported something about our presence. In any case, us being here is a violation as is. We shouldn't be here and meddle around in your affairs. But now looking at things... We have no choice but to get involved."

Turning to Savranth she said. "Of course we do. But I'm not joining in this bloodshed. No more. As much as I would want to see my husband, my son and my daughter again, I'm stuck here in some strange off world with no way of going back as it seems." Noel's face was still emotionless.

Charlotte continued to get headaches.

Clarence thought for a moment, his tail slapping the side of his leg as he thought. "Alright. Come on in." Clarence opened the door and stepped aside to let Loki in. There was a couple of chairs inside the building and a desk with quite a few different parchments on it.
