"I would not ask any of you to sacrifice yourselves for us. None of this was your doing. If anything, you lot saved this village from Blake. You're heroes. To ask you to take the blame for his actions would be wrong." Tiberius replied to Noel and Vanessa.
"I wasn't asking you to. But I don't want to ask you to harm yourselves either. We can take care of this... It seems as though there is little choice in the matter." Savranth said.
Athena loaded Blake into Tiberius's airship as it arrived.

"How do we know we can trust you?" The man asked Jessica.
"Is that so?" The man asked Adam curiously. "What are you doing here while your comrades died? Did you run?"
"I thank you." Loki stated as he entered the building. Quickly looking around, he noted there was nothing of interest to him, so he looked back to Clarence. "Now, the first question, and forgive me if it is an difficult one, is this - I was told beastkin were hated throughout the world. Is that why there is not a human to be found here, as this place serves as a safehaven?"

Before she spoke to the trio of miners, Yukino could overhear them talking about the salesman she had murdered, as news travels fast in a small comunity such as Rocbyrd.
"I'm not making this up! They's say he was killed in his own house!"
"Who could've do such a thing? I mean, as creaky as these sodding excuse of houses are, you'd think someone would hear it if they were broken in to."
"I dunno... I didn't hear anything 'bout a break in."
"Whatever. This is bad news for everyone else... Now Icarus will start to tax everyone more to make up for the dent in his income. 'Cause God forbid he can't afford golden bathwater."
"Do you have a deathwish?! Don't say such thi--" At this point, Yukino approached.
"We're not suposed to tell. You want a toor of the mines, ask Icarus himself." One of the miners answered. The other two kept silent, both looking uncomfortable.
"Because you're in a damn burning building!" Jessica shouted at the man. "If I meant you any harm, I'd have just ignored you and waited for the place to collapse on your heads! That a good enough reason to trust me?" Her tail started to wag as her patience began to wear thin.
Noel shook her head and bit her lip at the sound of the word 'hero'. "We aren't heroes. We are simply people that decided to do something rather than to simply stand back and watch." Turning to Savranth she said. "I wish that we could save everybody. Stop this war from escalating. It's just a terrible lie." Looking to the field she sighed again. It brought back too many memories.
Charlotte fell to her knees, due to her burnt legs and another memory (OoC: yay?)
The building shook again with dust from the ceiling dropping as the white noise rose slightly up in intensity.
"We need to leave. NOW!" Eric said, rushing towards the main door. Everybody followed suit as the building itself started to implode.
Exiting the building, the four Vanguards heard murderous screams and wails as multiple figures started to emerge from the rest of the buildings and stumble their way towards them. Charlotte raised her pistol, weary at the crowd. Once crowd stepped into the light, they saw them. Faces torn in multiple places, bones exposed and pus oozing out with each step.
"Thank goodness! Hopefully-" Otis' words are cut short as the automatrons started firing at them as well. Thankfully, their shields were still activated as the bullets vaporized at the shields barrier. But it wouldn't last long.
"Situation averted, all units into other buildings now!" Lorella yelled as she took out towards another building. The other three followed right behind her, glancing back at the monsters and Automatrons. Neither side was willing to give up as they crawled or rolled over their dead, continuing their doomed advance.
"What the hell is going on in the ship?!" Otis yelled, panting.
"No fucking clue. Just stay alive!"
The four of them dived into the building's entrance, scrapping their armor slightly against a pure granite flooring. Lorella was the first to slowly get up.
"Area clear for now..." she said, looking around as her sword became an assault pistol.
"Its getting late. Set up a watch for sleeping. I got first watch." Eric said, as he too looked around.
The building was a flamboyant bank of kinds, as the four tried to find a place to at least camp down for the night. They looked at the multiple rooms, each filled with something priceless, and yet in large quantities.
"This place is weird... Too much rich stuff here." Charlotte commented, pistol and sword raised. The four eventually reached the security room of the bank as they set up around the door.
"Otis, flashbang in the door." Gripping a flashbang from his armor he tossed it into the room as the muffled sound burst through and the four stormed in. A small room with multiple monitors, they all displayed the same thing.
Multiple folks, looking rather proud and ravish, fired into the crowds of commoners as the normal people angrily banged on the glass of the bank. Signs of 'Rich people finding sanctuary from the outbreak' and 'The 99%' were abundant.
"Class segregation? This is new." Eric frowned at the screen. As he continued to look on the screen, the crowds were getting openly hostile, lobbing homemade explosives.
"An outbreak? Hold on..." Charlotte looked through some of the papers in the room. Not much, but apparently some mutate Crusader virus had broken out into the Pandemonium, turning people and corpses into violent monsters.
"The Crusaders? The Crusaders here?!" Otis growled, throwing his arms down alittle. Lorella growled alittle at the word. Otis turned to Eric. "The hell are we doing here man? We should call a HAZMAT squad here! NOW! There's no way that we can fight through all these people. We should head back to the ship and radio for help!"
"The automatrons have deemed us enemies as well. This complicates things. I doubt that we'll be able rush back with these things around."
"Damnit..."
Eric rubbed his forehead alittle. "Alright, alright. We'll figure out some plan to get out of here and hail the rest of the Vanguards. For now, I'll keep watch. Find a place to sleep guys." Otis frowned, stating. "You're terrible at night operations Eric. Let me take the watch."
Eric turned the screens again as the crowds broke the glass as their swarmed into the bank, crawling their way into sanctuary only to taint it more.
"I said it first. So we'll go with that." Lorella raised an eyebrow under her helmet as Otis finally shrugged.
As the memory stopped, Charlotte felt a sharp pain spike on her right side again as she collapsed on the wet ground.

As three figures exit the cockpit of those ships. Two of them were female. Twins by the looks of it. Even wearing the same clothing, a white sneaking suit. However, one had her hair rather long and in a ponytail as the other had her hair short and kept back with a headband.
The man, wearing a strange battle dress of kinds, whistled around at the carnage that was leftover. "Heh. Looks like the partei already started."
"This is Mom's last mission. And the beginning of the new Alopex Unit."
"The rest of the team is to meet up at these coordinates." With a beep, their wrist communicators went off as a highlighted area was displayed on the complex.
"So Derek Olsen is here huh? How about some payback, eh?" The man cracked his knuckles. "So our adventure starts now, huh?"
"Mission standby... Operation is a-go. Move out."
The three headed down their respected ways. The man, like Noel earlier had stumbled upon another laboratory labeled 'Research' as he kicked open the door, rifle out as he gazed around with his one eye. Finding a mirror, he too touched it as a flash of light...

Among the burning wreckage of the city, a sudden light ball flashed as it revealed the same man, crouching on the ground. Looking around. Oro? Where the hell am I?
Ness looks away a bit, her face a little darkened. "...If you insist." A true hero would've been able to make sure this never happened....

Given the miner's response, Yukino just shrugs and heads off toward the castle. After walking a bit away, she dashes out of sight of the villagers and cloaks herself again, despite her fatigue. [color=bb66bb] Alright... Once more... Don't fail me now... [/color] She calmly makes her way back toward the miners resting hoping they would sit there too long.
Dal'Sheed at the moment did not know what to say. On the one hand, yes he did help stop a berserking general from burning a village, but he did not want to be labeled as the hero here, and he did not want to get up in this war so suddenly. Yet, he could not interject about the artifacts at Fourside.
"'Evil is when good men do nothing' as they say. But that is not the point. We have duties to attend to." Tiberius said, then spotted Charlotte collapse. "Is she okay?"
"Right now, I think only one life being saved would have avoided this..." Savranth said, looking over to spot Charlotte.
Athena, having loaded Blake away and placed him in a cell that nullfied his magic in a way similar to the training hall in Winterhorn, returned. "General, should we get back to base and send Blake to the capital?"

"Fair enough... Let's go." The man said to Jessica.
"Is that so?"
OoC: Most of the city is intact. The fighting took place on the outskirts.
@Outis: I had Ness take Echo out of Castlewood with her (unless you want me to retcon that). You could say that Echo was hiding away from the battle all this time if you want.
OOC: Last post. Also, should Lyra be with the main group right now? She was in the inn last night, but she's been operating pretty much separately from everyone else.
