Kyosuke frowned at the blood flowing past. 'Cause that's not healthy at all. He continued to follow down the river.

"Don't let the door hit you on the way out. God forbid you make me happy." The supervisor said.

Yeah... I don't trust this Loki...
"Was it necessary to demand money for a good deed?" Geo asked as they left.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Really?" Nobody ever bothered to tell me that there was a beastkin town in Xiphatia "And why just one as a soldier though? Do the Xiphatians discriminate against beastkin?" Jessica asked, a small amount of spite in her question as to whether or not beastkin were discriminated against. She shrugged and said, "The woman I stayed with mentioned she had a daughter that could use magic, so she was deported to Xiphatia. I was just curious since the only beastkin I'd seen in Xiphatia was that secretary back at the base you showed us all to."

Ness hands Felina her credit card as she turns toward Noel. "Yes... there's always an alternative... It just comes down to both sides agreeing to it."

Yukino pops her head out of the water and lets out a satisfied sigh before emerging from the river. She shakes herself off like a dog, sending water everywhere before walking over to her clothes, humming all the while.

"Doubt it. A good compromise leaves both sides unhappy. That's what the Boss said once. But I do wonder if she believes any of the things that she says." Noel motioned all around the place. "But coming here... And things back home with politics... I guess what she says is true."

Kyosuke saw Yukino emerge from the water as he raised an eyebrow, covering his other eye ('Cause he wears an eyepatch) saying.

"Ya know, you could have used a shower... Unless they allow bathing in the river. Then whatever."

 

[Chungus]

"Perhaps not. However. It is appearant he cares not for the lives of you, nor you coworkers, else the situation would have been long since resolved. Do I feel it was right to punish such an induvidual in the most effective way posible? Most certainly I did." Loki answered, pretending to care about the miners.

Feline takes Ness' credit card and sticks it in the slot. And after a bleep, hands it back to Ness, giving a small smile as she did. Walking back to the counter, Felina took off her apron she was wearing. "My shift's done. I'm going home now." she called out.

"Yeah, alright. See ya tomorow." A voice from the back of the diner called back.

"Have a nice day." Felina said to Ness, Echo, Noel and Charlotte as she passed them on her way to the exit and left.

"Well, since the beastkin do have some connections to both countries, the governments don't feel they can generally be trusted. You can't trust that a soldier won't refuse to fight when you need him, if he worries about his child or mother. In fact, by most accounts the beastkin soldier should be a general, but he's only a Lieutenant Colonel." Savranth explained.
"That doesn't surprise me that she may have a child in Xiphatia. Though the beastkin are known to be secretive about these transports, for a variety of reasons, which tends to hurt any trust they may have."

"Yeah..." Geo sort of let that drift.
"You still don't know the nature of the problem, though. It could be something a little more complicated than you think."

Ness looks around and puts her hat back on. "If both sides are unhappy, then I doubt you can call it a good compromise... Other than that, I'd believe your boss."

She gives a friendly wave to Felina as she leaves. "You too!" That leaves... 136 credits...

Yukino looks over at Kyosuke before gathering her stuff and hiding behind a set of trees. [color=bb66bb] "I didn't see any kind of rule sign so I'm pretty sure it's fine. ...You can uncover your eye... You didn't see anything, right?" [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"What is causing the problem exactly, we will ascertain tomorow. If it can be removed easily, I am certain those machines can do so. If not, cave in the location where the source of the problem lies." Loki answered Geo as he began walking back to his home. "May we stay in your guest room again?"

"I'm surprised both sides don't just try and stomp out the entire population of beastkin if that's the case. Takes a lot of restraint for humans to not just resort to that when dealing with other species." Jessica commented, sounding extremely bitter. Glancing up at the sky, she sighed and pulled the visor frame off of her face and stuffed it back into her coat. Better find the hotel around here soon.

Charlotte had fallen asleep, as Noel picked her up. She gave a wave to Felina and said to Ness. "People find strange things to ***** about... Anyway, we should sleep now. Shall we go?"

Kyosuke removed his hand and said. "Fair enough. And would it matter if I did? I was just trying to check on what was leaving a bloodtrail. I could care less if you were naked or not." He voice changed from his usual happy-go-lucky tone to a hollowed out , and calculating version of it.

 

[Saltyk]

"Perhaps that a moral decision. Even if you hate someone to kill them, much less an entire population is rather extreme. Beastkin may be looked down upon, even hated, but to commit any sort of act that evil... In Xiphatia certain things that could be done are not, for moral reasons. Like raising the dead." Savranth replies.
"Anyway, I'm going to sleep." He says walking off to find a decent place to sleep in the meantime."[/color]

"That's fine, I suppose."
Geo leads Loki back to his house and shows him to the guest room. Going to his own room, he locks the door before going to bed.

 

[Chungus]

Entering the guest room, Loki found a bed and went to sleep.

Ness slowly rises up out of her seat and take Echo by the hand, starting to move toward the exit. "Yes... let's get going."

Yukino emerges from the trees, her clothes still with a few bloodstains on them. [color=bb66bb] "Is that so? Then you found it~." [/color]

Noel nodded and followed where Ness would go. If it was a hotel, then she would bunk on the floor with Charlotte.

"And so I did... You mind if I was to remove the bloodstains from that?" Kyosuke looked that the clothing.

Ness walked to the hotel and entered her room. Echo slept on the bed, and Ness laid herself out on the couch, opening Four's book again.

Yukino looks over at Kyosuke and shrugs. [color=bb66bb] "I wouldn't mind. Probably would be smart to do, now that I think about it..." [/color]

"Yeah yeah. They're all probably just thinking of how they can 'justify' it." Jessica said dismissively to Savranth as he walked off. She sighed and rubbed her temples for a moment. After that, she headed over to the hotel and rented herself a room before it got too late, but walked outside and started rubbing her temples again.

Noel left asleep on the floor. Charlotte was already asleep.

Kyosuke held out his hand as he clenched it as the droplets of blood evaporated and transferred to the ground below. Releasing his grip, he rubbed his head and shook slightly before saying.

"I hate matter transfer. Converting matter to energy, moving it and making back to matter again is a pain."

Yukino checked out her clothes for a moment before looking back at Kyosuke, impressed. [color=bb66bb] "Ah... you mean that literally.... But something like that seems convenient and useful to pull out. Guess that's the universes' way of making it even." [/color]

Seeing Noel and Charlotte asleep, Ness closes the book shut and digitizes it before walking outside and digistructing out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter from her belt. She takes a small drag before looking over at Jessica. "Hey. You seem a little worked up."

Kyosuke continued to rub his head. "Maybe... Well, see ya around Miss." He gave a polite bow, a variation of Noel's curtsy then walked away to find a nice place to just sleep.
