"I'm afraid you'll need the propper clearance to see Professor Lucia. But I can deliver the message, if you'd like?" The receptionist remarked. As he spoke, he noticed the rat enter the building and crawl under a chair, but couldn't quite see what it was, and thus looked curiously at the chair the rat was under.

"And how mightwe attain this clearance?" Loki asked.

"You'll have to head to the government building for that. They'll help you out."

While the doctor's wound was cautherised, preventing bleeding, the doctor still began going into shock. Almost imediately after the elite left the building, what patients were still in the waiting room ran out, screaming.

Alerted by this, some of the soldiers stationed in Holadino came rushing towards the clinic, five in total. None had any special equipment to detect cloaked targets, however. So for the moment, the elite went unnoticed.

"No... That's not how things work." the shopkeeper answered. "Now if you're not going to buy anything, please leave. I've got customers waiting who actually have money."

OOC: Hatchy: Is it okay if we hold off on that thing until after I have a shower and get some dinner?

Tao dejectedly walked away from the shop.

Blair just sat there on the ground, licking her paws.

Echo went back to rocking on her heels, enjoying the peace and quiet, at least a little.

Rita sighed "So what, we just go over there and ask them for clearance? Why would we need something like that just just to talk to someone?"

The rat stayed where it was

The Rookie reached the edge of the city and began heading to Granite pass, avoiding roads.
(To the Rookie: Come on, we'll make it. When we shake him we can head to a place where we can get you some help.)

The elite came to the same point around half an hour later, and continued hunting him.

Jessica glanced around the room for the few moments before Sasha had addressed her. "Hello Sasha." She pleasantly replied. "I just noticed you've been here for nearly a week, so I decided to come back and see how you were doing." She added to explain her presence. "So, how're things?"

Blair just jumped on Rex's shoulder as he walked back. "I haven't met you before, my name is Blair and you are?" She asked Rex as she sat down on his left shoulder.

 

[Chungus]

"I'm sorry. But that's just how these procedures are." The receptionist replied. I could've sworn I saw something there...

The abulance that the nurse had called for Rookie arived at the clinic. Once the paramedics entered, they were given a brief summary from what happened by the soldiers who had question the few eye witnesses they couls find. Acknoledging the situation, the paramedics took the doctor and nurse and rushed towards the hospital in Fourside.

As Rookie neared Granite Pass, he would find the area becoming more barren the closer he came.

As Ness notices the screaming coming from the clinic, she rushes over to see what's happening.

Rex looks over at Blair and shrugs a bit. "My name's Rex. And you're... a talking cat. ...Sweet. Nice to meet ya, Blair."

 

[Furioso]

"Ugh, fine." as she left and headed for the government building

The rat stayed where it was

"A week already?" She said a bit surprised. "I didn't know school was this hard... or this fun." She giggled softly. "I don't know how much it took for you to be a doctor." She said as she adjusted her sash a little.

"Like wise Mister Rex!" She said with a smile. "Talking cat? oh right, You don't know the half of it" Blair added, as she continued to sit on his shoulder.

 

[Kirke]

The Rookie stopped, breathing heavily. He took a syringe with painkillers, jabbing it in the leg. Looking back, he didn't see the alien.
(To the Rookie: There's no telling how far behind it is, let's keep moving.)
He nodded, then turned and started jogging towards Granite Pass.

Rex raises an eyebrow as he continues walking around the hotel entrance, since he didn't have much else to do. "Eh? ...Whaddya mean by that?"

Ness arrived at the scene of the clinic, watching the ambulance pass by. Oh.... It must've been a really bad injury... right?

"How needlessly complicated." Loki remarked as he followed Rita.

Ness would find the soldier talking to the eye witnesses near the clinic, trying to calm them down and learn more about what transpired at the clinic.

Entering Granite Pass, Rookie would see several miners milling about. With the shaft they were suposed to be working on closed off, and with other parts of the quarry manned sufficiently, there was little they could do.

One of them noticed Rookie approach. "Holy shit. That guy look torn up!"

"Well I'm part cat and...." Blair starts saying to Rex, before transforming into her Human form with her pink puff smoke. "I'm also a cat GIRL!" She said to Rex, doing a kitty pose with a :3 face.

MEANWHILE, somewhere in the universe. A small girl was sat by her window, looking outside she sighs a little. She hops off her chair and walks up to a women who was sat at a piano, playing a casual tune. The girl sat next to her and said. "Momma, isss it ok to visssit her now pleassse?" The small girl asked politely, as she held her doll in her arms, hugging it slightly.

 

[Furioso]

Rita entered the government building and walked up to the counter "Hey, I guess I need some kinda permission to talk to Lucia over in the lab building, so I'm gonna need that."

The rat waited for the receptionist in the lab building to look away before trying to sneak past further into the lab

 

[Kirke]

(To the miner: Listen up. I'm a magical artefact that assists this trooper because of him being mute. We are hunted by a really dangerous being, so we need military and medical assistance!)

The elite saw Granite Pass in the distance, and started running.
