Cynane jumped at the sound of the Rookie's gunshot.
"What the hell...?"

@Outis: Well, if they remain there, nothing's gonna happen, obviously.
@Berk: If memory serves, Cynane is still in Holadino, where Rookie is in Granite Pass.
"Either way, it is of little concern to me, to be frank." Loki answered, turning towards the exit of the hotel. "So. What now? Shall we go investigate that temple we saw two days ago?"

Envy would find two soldiers outside the door to the lobby of the lab. Both of them were minimally equipped, having no armour, and only a pistol of sorts at their hip.

The paramedics flinched when Rookie shot the elite, but soon shrugged it off and lifted Rookie onto the gurney, then rushed him into the ambulance, taking Rookie's backpack also. Once loaded up, the ambulance rushed towards Fourside.

The soldier Noel spoke to turned to the main building when he heard the gunshot, rifle raised, but lowered it soon after he saw the paramedics rush out with Rookie. Turning back to Noel, he said, "Honestly ma'am. I have no idea what exactly is going on any more. We were told some beastkin that attacked Holadino some time ago made his way over here. And it did come, following after some man which I first thought was a Legaian... but he used some form of magic of something, I never felt anything like it." he explained. After the ambulance left, he began walkin to the main building. "Excuse me for a moment."

"Still here." Felina called out from out of the shed, then walked out, her clothing smeared with oil. "Are you about ready to go?" she asked impatiently.
@Outis: Well, if they remain there, nothing's gonna happen, obviously.

Seeing the ambulance rushing away, Noel and Charlotte decided to follow where it would lead, leaving Granite Pass and heading (unknown to them) to Fourside.
OoC @Berk: Rookie fled when he was attacked by the elite he just killed.
@Furioso: Oh, well that's okay. We can say Rita and Loki either went their seperate ways for the time being, or just place this in a time bubble. Either way is fine by me.
Loki nodded and left the hotel and made his way south-west

Once he arived, Envy would find numerous soldiers. There were several well-equiped soldiers standing by the gates and on the walls surrounding the military compound, where others were outside doing exserices.

"Yeah. I've spent the night making sure everything was in working order." Felina answered as she entered the shed once more, walking up to her 8 foot-tall mech. Behind the mech, there were a large rifle and an object resembling the hilt of a sword mounted on the wall. "Did you ever learn where those guys where headed?"

16 minutes after it left Granite Pass, the ambulance arived at the local hospital in Fourside. Rookie was rushed into the ER.

OoC: @Random: The Rookie left to find a hospital in Holadino, but was then ambushed by the cloaked elite. He fled the city on foot and ran to Granite Pass, where after a short battle the Rookie was downed by a salvo of bullets from the soldiers who were trying to kill the elite. After that, Tophat scared the crap out of the soldiers and took control of the elite to administer some first aid to the Rookie.

"My only lead points to Fourside." Odd name for a city that isn't shaped in a rectangle. "I know from what I've heard that that isn't exactly narrowing it down much, but at least we know where to start." Jessica answered. "Oh! and when we get there, be on the look-out for a large, blue, box-like, er," What was it called again? "van!" She added, recalling another likely to be important detail.
With Rita in tow, Loki left Fourside, the lone mountain barely visible in the distance.

"Hold up." one of the soldiers at the gate said to Envy, holding out an arm infront of him. "You're suposed to be stationed outside the labs. What're you doing back here?"

Once at the ER, Rookie was moved from the gurney, onto the operation table. After washing his hand and putting on latex gloves, the surgeon quickly examined Rookie's condition. Three other doctor were preparing the instruments needed for the operation. "Sir, there is no saving your shoulder. It will need to be replaced with a cybernetic one. Do you give your consent for this procedure?"

The barran, dry landscape behind them, Noel and Charlotte looked upon the open plains with the occasional hill and Fourside in the near distance. They might also notice Loki and Rita heaving south-west.

"A blue van? There are dozens of those in Fourside..." Felina answered with a frustrated tone. Blowing a exasperated sigh, she climbed into the pilot compartment of the mech, it closing around her. For a moment, there was silence before a low humming sound broke it, the mech powering up.

Suddenly his eyes snapped open and he gasped in horror, covered in sweat. Getting to a sitting position, he buried his face in his hands.

Jona and Reann fled through the battle scarred temple, choking in the smoke and the stench of burnt flesh and blood. Jona stared in uncomprehending shock at the bodies of Clone troopers and Jedi scattered amongst the laser blasted pillars and statues. He had seen dead bodies before in the holovids depicting the exploits of the Grand Army and the atrocities committed by the Seperatists, but seeing them like this seemed... just the same. It didn?t matter that some of these were faces that he recognised, people that he met every day, lying dead with the invaders that were supposed to fight for them. It just didn?t make sense. It didn?t seem real.
As they turned a corner they suddenly skidded to a halt. A group of five troopers were coming the other way, and in the boys? haste, the two groups had almost collided. They gaped at each other for a moment.
?Sir?? One of the troopers asked, uncertainly. There was silence for a moment as their officer processed the situation.
?Ah, shit. We have our orders. Blast them!? They raised their blaster rifles as one. The two children would have died there and then if not for Jona who stepped forward with a snarl on his lips. He raised his hands, summoned the Force around him and hurled a blast at the troops, hurling two of them down the hallway. With his right hand he lifted a chunk of rubble and slammed it so hard into the helmet of one trooper that he spun around and fell, firing as he went. Another trooper fell screaming and clutching his wounded thigh. Charging at the last man Jona blasted the gun out of his hand and leapt into the air to strike him in the chest, knocking him down. He immediately began kicking the man inthe head until he stopped struggling, groaning slightly.
?Jona, that was amazing!? Reann gasped from behind him. Jona turned, panting in exhilaration.
?Yeah, that was fun! Now come on, let?s...? He trailed off as another squad appeared at the end of the hallway and levelled their rifles.
?Jona...??
?Run!? He screamed, and threw himself behind a pillar as the blaster rifles howled. Suddenly they stopped and he heard the commander give an order.
?Hostile down. Move up!? Jona?s eyes widened and he looked out from behind cover. Less than six feet from a large block of rubble was a small body curled up and motionless, that hadn?t been there before. His skin tingled and his blood turned to ice in his veins.
?No! Reann!? He shouted, and rushed out into the open without thinking, grabbing his friend?s robes and turning him over. The other boy?s eyes stared back at him, wide open, blank and flecked with dust. His pale face was bloody and the front of his robes were scorched.
?There he is! Take him out!? The commander shouted and Jona looked up dully at them as they raised their rifles in slow motion. The world seemed to slow down and go silent as ash swirled around the firing line. Slowly, silently they lined up their sights on him. Wordlessly, he accepted his fate. Then as he knelt there, a blur of light brown and vibrant, blazing emerald flashed into the trooper?s ranks, whirling and leaping. The troopers panicked and stumbled back trying to adjust their aim. Those that were too slow fell beneath the figure, the emerald blades leaving glowing red gashes in their severed limbs and torn bodies. The troopers began to open fire, the green bolts zipping past the figure without a sound. Several struck his lightsabers and rebounded, striking down those that fired them. The figure reached out and gestured at a pillar, which crumbled to boulders and fell into the hall, burying the survivors. The figure turned to Jona and he recognised the genial face, pale blue skin and crooked cranial horns of his master, the Zabrak named Sanakk Ekbil.
?...alright? Jona, speak to me! Are you hurt?? He heard as the world returned to its normal speed. He nodded slowly, then glanced over at REann?s body.
?Yes. But Reann...? Sanakk stopped him with a hand on his shoulder.
?Jona, there?s nothing we can do for him. Do you understand? He?s gone. We have to get out of here before more Clones arrive. There are too many to fight. Jona, can you keep going??
