After looking at the unresponsive Adam, Loki turned back to the Legaian soldier. "Now, I need to do something. Fear not, this shan't hurt." he remarked, then placed the tip of the blade of the scepter on the Legaian's chest. Once again, the gem glowed with a vivid blue light, and unlike last time, a the blue glow streamed out of the gem, into the soldier. For a moment, the Legain's eyes became a pure black before going back to normal. Or they looked normal, yet his irises were a brighter colour then they were before. While the Legaian's personality remained the same, he would now follow orders from Loki.
So. It does work. But that raises the quesion, why did it not before. Drawing the scepter back, Loki asked, "Tell me. Do you not feel liberated?"
