Noel ends her practice before deciding to follow Ness as she seemed to be going to the direction of the pod.

"A wise choice. Now then, remove your armour." Loki said to the soldier, then looked up at Adam. "You take this man's equipment, if you so desire. And refrain from killing him, we gave him our word, and I am not one to break it." he stated, not wanting the effort he put into persuading the Legaian to be for nothing.

"That is very true." He paused for a bit to look around at the others. "Let's check around with the others. We should make sure if they want to leave. They may have reasons themselves for staying here."

He turned to look at Loki and Adam trying to interrogate the Legaian soldier.

Echo didn't particularly want to go toward the crater, but she decided she might as well approach...from behind the others.

Tao bounded over to the crater and looked in.

Adam quickly moved the soldier out of sight, and away from the crashed pod, while the group was distracted.

The dust slowly settled, revealing a pod of some sort.

"That is fine. I won't argue if they truly desire to help. But there is no reason to ask them to sacrifice their lives for people they just met." Volarian replied.

"Fine!" The soldier said, slowly removing his armor. He especially was slow in removing the leggings as his leg had been shot and doing so hurt him.

As the dust settles, Ness ignores the others coming up behind her and whips out her PDA, scanning and making a copy of the pod. Afterward, she slides down one side and approaches the door, smiling curiously. "This is either something from another dimension... or some sort of delayed-detonation bomb..." She pondered out loud, kind of hoping to get the others to back away somehow.

Lyra pulls herself up from the floor, and looks around the barracks. "Looks like I slept in. Been a long while since I did that." She collects her gear, and heads outside to see the pod. She casually lets the rifle shift from her back to her hands.

Noel saw the pod, frowning slightly. It carried the design specs of an atmospheric drop pod that most marine soldiers would use for raids on hostile planets.

Equipping her helmet back on, she watched to see what would happen next.

Charlotte saw Adam and Loki pulling away the Legaian soldier away, but shrugged and sat down thinking to herself.

Adam took the armour and began to put it on, then looked down at the soldier.
"You should probably go away for a while. Come back in a bit, if you'd like to take me up on my offer. Just say you came through a dimension rift or something. I'll carry you part of the way."
He then looked up at Loki.
"I just have one thing I need to do."

Spotting Da'Sheen eye Adam and himself, Loki followed after Adam once he moved the soldier out of sight.

"As do I." Loki replied to Adam, looking at him with a slight, yet mischievous smile.

Rita reacted with shock to what Ness said "...What? A bomb? Why would you get closer to it?" she said while backing away

Savranth, seeing the crash a moment ago, used his High Speed Movement magic and quickly moved outside of the base to see what had happened.

Several soldiers began preparing to take up their defenses should they be required, with Volarian keeping them all in line, as Tiberius decided to observe.

OoC: @Tribly: By the way, there should be blood and bullet holes in the legs, wouldn't you think?

Tao bounded away and sat in front of Charlot, waging her tail slowly.

Echo stepped further back from the pod.

"Can't I just go home?" The soldier, now in his underwear with a bloody leg, asked still more afraid of being turned into a Golem than anything else.

@Salty: Yeah, there should be bullet holes. But they'd still work as armour, and as clothing. As for blood, I think it would mostly be on the outside of the leg.

Ness looked back toward Rita with a bit of a mischievous smile. "To see it up close, of course. Observation's best done as close as possible to the subject."

"You can, after you have your wound tended to. It would be unwise to depart while it bleeds still, as it could well become septic." Loki answered the Legaian.

Dal'Sheen was able to find the satchel that Adam had dropped earlier and picked it up from the rubble of bodies and broken machinery.
