He intended to intimidate the Legaian with the posibility of what the soldier evidently feared, rather then threaten him with death. "I doubt the Xiphatians would kill the soldier. Rather, they would place their curses on him, and perhaps turn him into one of those stone creatures they use in battles. Would you not say that is the more likely scenario?" he added, looking up at Adam.

As Tao starts fondling her again, Ness calmly keeps the kitty's paws at bay. Turning to Stiener, she raises an eyebrow. "I certainly wasn't encouraging her behavior... although if others have tried to stop her from this, I'm to assume it's an impulse of some sort..."

You were born not long before the attack that destroyed the city. As I said before, no one really knows who started it or anything. Your mother and I discussed it, after... a misunderstanding, and neither of us could confirm the exact details."

We should be back to full strength then with 300 soldiers, 40 Golems, and our 30 turrets should be back in working order. I doubt the general would ask you people to get involved. This is not your fight, after all." Volarian explained.

"I agree this isn't our fight. But how are these people going to return home? I mean, I have a means of doing so, none of them look like they have a means of getting home themselves. And as for me, while this world is stable, its civilization doesn't appear to be. For us D'ni, a civilization and a world need to work hand in hand. And if a conflict goes on for too long, then this world may become uninhabitable or desolate from the recurring wars. And that is the reason why I'm remaining here."
Adam looked up at Loki and grinned.
"We're not lying to you. That's no way to convince people to do what you want. And my companion here has a point. You're a prisoner now. You'll be stripped of your armour. And the Xiphantians, they just destroy it. What a waste."

Charlotte's perpetual frown deepened. Looking at her large busty chest, she glared at Tao. For reasons unknown, she REALLY doesn't want to be touched, especially her breasts or womanhood. "So long as doesn't do anything funny with me, I'll be fine." she grunted to Steiner and Ness.

And with what has happened, I don't think you should be here for the time being. I think it would be wise if you made your own path. Not as my son, and maybe not even as a Xiphatian, or a Legaian."

He paused for a moment. "You all may even find someone in Legaia who can help you... I know not..."
Tiberius looked at the soldiers and then back to him. "Listen, I think you and these people should leave. I never intended for you to to get involved in all this. And with what has happened, I don't think you should be here for the time being. I think it would be wise if you made your own path. Not as my son, and maybe not even as a Xiphatian, or a Legaian."

Is it not a logical conlcusion that they are saved, only to be asimilaed into their ranks by turning them into those stone, mindless beasts? Were I in your position, I would not want to find out personally." he remarked, then paused. "You need not. If you would only comply, you can be spared such a fate. Relinquish your armour and weapon, and you can claim you are one alien to this world, much like ourselves, and were merely caught in the crossfire. I will personally confirm such a story to ensure it is believed. Now, I ask again - What is preferable, listen to us, or risk losing so much more then just your equipment?"
