The Rookie shook his head, then placed the map back were he took it.

"Well, sir, if there's anything you need, feel free to ask." The shopkeeper said to the Rookie.

Rita was turned away from Saya by Mint "Sure... I suppose..."

Adam entered the dining room and looked around.

"Humanoid!" Saya said, quite excitedly. She lent closer and started making records of Dal in her notebook.

 

[Saltyk]

"Where are you going, Miss? Are you people on a trip, somewhere?" Mint asked Rita.

Adam would see several other members of the group, as well, as other people. The entire place was rather full of people.

A demon, huh? Ness calmly scans Saya from where she was standing and walks toward the dining room before seating herself a bit away from everyone else.

Adam approached Thyme, assuming he was the owner, and asked him, "Excuse me, do you own this inn?"

"The only thing that's truly significant about my race, the D'ni, is that in comparison to most other humanoid races we've met in other worlds, we can live up to 200 to 250 years."

OOC: Since the D'ni live underground beneath the Earth's surface, the only way they would know about humans is through the worlds they describe in books. However a cat is something that they truly have never seen before.

"Yes. You see, although I have not the money necessary to pay for a room, I was wondering if I and my companion could possible seek shelter from the rain here, until it passes." Loki explained to Paprika.

seeing Lyra approached more, the snake shifted around so that its head was facing her, then it opened its mouth slightly, baring its fangs. It also shook the tip of its tail frantically, all the signs it felt threatened and would likely turn hostile if approached further.

 

[Kirke]

Taking out his datapad, the Rookie double-checked that the map he had just created was a good enough copy of the one from the shop. Because of how he stood, the shopkeeper would quite easily be able to spot this.

 

[Furioso]

"Well, were headed to a library. Don't suppose you've ever been there."

Saya record all that Dal said then chuckled a little. "200 to 250 years....is that...all?" she asked casually.

 

[Slenn]

"Yeah, that's it, other than our discovered knowledge of The Art. There have been records of people living up to 300, but very rarely. Why is that so funny?"

 

[HatchyHatch14]

Saya crossed out the 250 and replaced it with 300 to make sure her records were correct, she then put the book in her bag. "Because Saya is....already 938 years...old!" She said with a small chuckle.

 

[Slenn]

"Up to a 1000? What do you do to live that long?"

Lyra quickly tapped out instructions to stop, and stayed hovering over the creature. She tapped a few more times, and the two skulls quickly flew forward, gun barrels out and pointing, directly at the creature.

Saya smirked. "Even longer!" She said to Dal, then started doing a small tribal dance around him. "La La La LALALA LA!" she sung out in a small beat.

 

[Saltyk]

Thyme looks up at Adam from his seat. "Yes? May I help you?" He asked Adam.

Paprika thinks for a moment. "I have no problem with that. But no room, okay?" She says as she returns to sit by her husband smiling as she spots her daughter talking to Rita.

"Library? Mint saw a grand library at Winterhorn, when she was there. Lots of books and students and teachers studying there. I even met Headmaster Anna while I was there. She's a kind woman. She treated Mint very nicely!" Mint replied rather excitedly.

The shopkeeper walks over to the Rookie. "Sir, what are you doing? Why do you have that piece of technology? You should turn that into the authorities, don't you think?"
