Thyme smiled and took the stone from Mint. "Now you be a good girl, and daddy will make this into a necklace for you, just as he promised, okay?" He said to Mint.
She smiled a big grin and hugged her father's neck. "Okay, daddy. I be a good girl. Mint promises."
"Run along, now, sweety."
"Yes, daddy." Mint says as she runs off to her own room on the first floor.
Once the dishes were away, Thyme went to his own room where Paprika was waiting, having changed clothes and taken off her bonnet. "What took you?"
Thyme put the stone on a table, it's gentle glow cascading around the tabletop. "I was just keeping an eye on Mint."
"She's okay, right?" Paprika asked, a worried look on her face.
"Fear not, she's fine. I wouldn't let anything happen to our little miracle. I'm more worried about you. Was the bonnet bothering you?"
"I'm fine." She replied.
"Maybe one day, soon, you won't have to wear that. I'd like that."
Paprika smiled. "It would be nice. But let's go to bed. We can dream more together."
"Oh? I had other ideas..."
The light in their room went out...

@Dot: Okay, last I remembered she was on the beach. I expected she would address Athena and Rita, but never say anything.
