Tiberius opened the letter and read it, slowly. Without looking up he asks. "Do you have any idea what this says?"

"Listen, you ugly creature... We don't take take beastkin. And, even if we did, you certainly don't seem to have any reason to fight for us." Medea replied.

"And what makes you think I would have any sort of key? I work on energy, not artifacts from some ancient lost civilization." Lucia replies.

"Well, that didn't take long. You're already lying to me. Several people have seen you talking to this Tribly. So, you know him far better than you're letting on." The man replied. "Wanna tell me the truth?"

"If it meens i can go back to my house quicker then sure, I dont realy know him, i just talked to him once or twice."Silvr replied.
Tiberius paused for a minute. "It says that the escaped prisoner, Taokaka is to be executed upon capture or upon being sighted." He explained.

"Well, I certainly haven't looked into those ruins. Not my field of study. What makes you think they would need any sort of energy or anything else?" Lucia asked, somewhat curious.

"Do you really expect me to believe you don't know that man?" The Soldier asked, obviously getting impatient. "And you weren't in a house. You don't have a house here. You were picked up after we sighted you entering town. You were at a local inn. You have trouble keeping your story straight, don't you? You also just admitted to lying."

As Echo and Holly finished eating, Rex started looking asking around to find them a place to sleep and where he might find some sort of training room.

Ness blinked a bit as she listened to the General. "I thought we were just bringing her in..." She put her hand to her chin for a moment, her expression worsened a bit. ...Bastards...

"Hang on hang on hang on." Jessica said to Tiberius, waving her arms around in the air partly for attention and partly because she wasn't certain if she could put them down yet or not. "We're supposed to kill her on sight? So would taking her back so she could confess be frowned upon?"
Tiberius shook his head in response to Jessica and Vanessa. "No, she has already been sentenced. By escaping and killing a guard, she has proven herself to be too great a threat to take chances with. She is to be killed as soon as she is found. Even risking a trial would be ill advised. She's considered that dangerous. Even if you took her back to confess, they will simply put her down. As a representative of the military, I will have to kill her myself, if I find her. That is what the letter says."

Rex would find a magic training room in the Main Tower. It would negate stray magic, but little else.

OoC: I find it funny, yet depressing, how Tao of all people has basically become Satan in the eyes of Xiphatia...

After stumbling across the guest rooms and leading the girls to an empty one, he headed to the training room and started practicing combinations on dummies.

"Okay, but would they put her down immediately, or would she have time to confess first?" Jessica asked, seeming to care a significant amount more about Tao's confession than her actual life. Since no one had told her to put her hands down, she was still holding them above her head. She was very grateful that the cuff on her right sleeve was tight enough that her sleeve hadn't slid down yet.

Elsewhere, Erica was looking over several papers. Alright... So, I'm not going to have any projects for a while, I've paid my tax for this month...? Yes. I've checked in with the college recently... Well, looks like all is settled, I can leave for a bit and not worry about having to rush back. Leaving the living room and entering the bed room, Erica retrieved her satchel and touched her amulet, closing her eyes as she did. She disappeared in a flash a moment later.

"Yeah, with an order like that I figured it wouldn't change things for her very much." Jessica replied to the General, putting an odd emphasis on 'her'. "I still feel like I should bring her in alive though." It's got a better chance of helping Vanessa get off easy if they hear it from Tao that Vanessa had nothing to do with breaking her out....And I need to know for sure too...
