Erica took Tophat and placed him on the table infront of her. "Eh? You didn't think you'd ever see me again? What do you mean by that? Furthermore, who is this gentleman with you?" she asked, lazily slumping over on the table.

Once Tao left, the soldier sighed again. "'Bout time. That one couldn't take a hint."

"Eh. At least I didn't have to tranq her, so that's a plus."

OoC @Outis: Aside from Valencheirn? No.

"Something up?" Felina asked Tao.

"We don't use bars. We use shield magic to hold our prisoners in place... As for the rest of that, there is no reason to explain it to you. What are you planning to do go find her? We already have that under control." The Captain explained to Data.

 

[Outisakanobody]

"They wouldn't listen...It's not fair, meow!" Tao shouted as she slumped to the floor.

 

[Kirke]

(To Erica: I lost my magic... And without it, I had no way home. My friend here is James, he is a soldier who is also stuck here. Not really a conversational type, but he sure knows how to fight.)

"I wish to see if she did kill someone, and is in fact as horrible as she appeared. I believe I will be able to deduce whether it was her, or rather the shapshifter who killed the guard." he said.

 

[Saltyk]

"Why do you think I'm not in the military? I tried to warn you..." Felina replied to Tao. "You could try working on the farm... That's what a lot of beastkin do."

"The guard was already looked at. Besides, he's been buried and we're not digging him back up for you." The Captain replied.

OoC: Why would he think it's a shapeshifter? I know of nothing that would lead to that conclusion.

"Nobody would even let me try when I asked before, meow. They assumed I was worthless..." Tao said to Felina.

Erica was rather shocked upon hearing Tophat's explaination, but choose to put being courteous before voicing her concerns. "Greetings to you then, James." she said, sitting uprigt, giving Rookie a nod that more resembled a bow, as she moved her body too. Looking back to Tophat, she said, "Loose your magic? How could that posible have happened?"

Data nodded, "Indeed, asking to unearth the body would be impolite. May I see the cell, than?" he said.

@Salt: "The walls were expanded in near-perfect manner. Tao's conspirator managed to match her in both hight and walk, indicating a Almost-Perfect Transformation, since a clone would have some mild variation, which this one didn't, and Someone wearing the same shoes as Tao would have a different gait. Since she was being followed, she could not have doubled back and made the second prints, therefore, the only logical explanation I could think of is that she was, indeed helped by someone with the ability to transform. However, the deeper indention shows that she was either carrying something heavy, or could not mask her mass via transformation."

The Rookie made a small nod, and a casual salute as he sat down on a nearby chair.

(To Erica: A powerful wizard. He was trying to take over a world, and I tried to stop him. That's why I didn't come back to Winterhold in so long. The war was... brutal. After five years, I had him cornered. He used a spell on me, ripping the magic from my soul. With the last of my power, I created a portal to another dimension. I didn't have time to decide which dimension however, and ended up here.)

"Oh my... That's terrible. Whenever did this happen? It's only been a few months since I last saw you. And were you hurt by any? If so, I could attempt to heal you."

(To Erica: Ah, the wonders of dimension travel. I am usually away for around a year, in my time, and this happened a few weeks ago, if that. Oh, and I am fine. How have you been?)

 

[Saltyk]

"Well, what did you ask them for? That could have made a difference..." Felina asked, as she washed dishes in the sink.

"No. I never agreed to that. Besides, we have no reason to trust you or allow you on our grounds." The Captain replied.

OoC: That assumes a lot of things and I fail to see how he could have come to ANY of those conclusions. Nothing indicates that the other person looked like Tao, much less had the same clothes. The impression would indicate that it was a larger person. Yes, the shoe prints maybe the same, but how uncommon are shoes?
If anything indicated these details the Xiphatian would logically assume that the breakout had something to do with the creature that attacked Everwood, implication Legaia and Soto.

"Hmm...maybe you could put in a good word for Tao, meow?" Tao asked Felina, looking at her hopefully.

Jessica woke up and rolled out of her bed in the Defense Base barracks. Landing on her hands and knees, she stood back up and looked around the room as she stretched. Seeing that Ness was still asleep, she quietly left the room and started wandering around the Base looking for General Tiberius. Might as well ask him myself and get this out of the way.

Once again, the smell of embalming fluid started emanating from the mouth of Nybeth's cave. And once again, it mixed with the smell of corpse-rot to create an incredibly unpleasant odor that was carried across the mountainside, aided by the winds blowing the chemical fumes about.

@Saltyk: Ironicly enough, I believe it WAS the same person, but he dosn't know that.
Also, the gait matched EXACTLY, as Fury said, as did the shoe, and Fury said that Envy made an EXACT copy. The tunnel, to him, could only be achieved by sliding in an object incredibly thin through, then expanding it. Such an action COULD be achieved with Tech, but it would be incredibly difficult I think, and Transformation would allow for the expansion of it.
Also, mind pointing out what I'm assuming? Because, to be honest, it makes complete sense to me.

"What would I have to do to gain access?" he said.

OoC: @Saltyk: You could judge the height based on the distance between footprints. Anyway, off for a few minutes.

Smelling the stench coming from Nybeth's cave some distance away, Fafnir lifted hwe head, her nostrils flaring.

"It would seem our ally was awakened. I think I shall go meet him. Stay here if you wish." Loki said to Rita, who was writing in her notebook. She nodded in return.

Leaving the dragon den, Loki walked over and entered Nybeth's cave, climbing down the tunnel, weary of any zombies that could attack him. "How does the enlightenment treat you?" he asked as he climbed, his voice ecoing through the cave.

"No matter how long I'll live, I'll never understand these wierd diferences in time. They seem completely random." Erica answer with a slight chuckle. "Glad you hear you're alright, though. As for me, I'm tired. Really quite tired. Getting used to these diferences in time is rather difficult."

Marston finally arrived at the base and waited outside of it.
