A battle is starting soon? I think I might have to stay out of it. This puts me in a really bad spot. If I join either side, I'll gain prestige for one and lose some for the other. And that will limit me into investigating the altar. If it and the doorway in Rockbyrd are the key to this... then I can't get involved in large conflicts too soon. He shook his head. "Hmmmm..."

Having done a satisfactory amount of work for the day, Nybeth headed back to the Defense Base once again. He idly meandered about, listening to people as he tried to see if any of the soldiers were saying anything interesting to each other regarding news of world events.

"Well, not exectly. Unlike the majority of the people here, I left my home dimension out of my own volition. And while I didn't intend to come here, specifically, I see no reason to leave. This place is as good as any for what I wish to do, which is to gather new inspiration for my work." Erica said to Yukino, then paused for a moment. "That is, assuming the majority of the people here actually did end up here not by choice."
"Well he's bound to hold something against me, he almost arrested my 'ol chap for blowing up the city! Bah, he did nothing! It just blew up on it's own, probably a gas leak or something!" he said.[hr]

"Well, despite being outnumbers by a small amount, I hear they are holding their own. Some even think that they will push the enemy back before long."
