"oh fuck, move me, move me move me move me mo-" Marcus jumped forward, plucking up Lyra and carrying her out of the fireball. Lyra whimpered, but didn't try to move out of his grasp.
Marcus took the laser full in the chest, revealing that where bone should be there was only metal. After moving Lyra, he pulled out his revolver and fired a whole clip with precision into the same joint his drone had attacked. The drone dodged the Equines attacks, and spun back to slice into the back of the joint.
Xyleena had crawled to the tails base, becoming a little lightheaded from the blood loss. She swung with her tail to cut at the weaker sections connecting the tail to the body.

OOC: Kynn was down. I had him try to scramble out of the way. There isn't a whole lot else he can do, since his kinetic barriers wouldn't respond to a laser shot. The only other outcome would be for him to be hit, which without a very good healer and someone skilled in clothing and armour repair would be guaranteed to kill him.Nailik said:

Noticing that Jess was focusing and that a large chalk circle was on the ground, Ness finally saw the machine and the battle. Wasting no time, she summoned a white sniper rifle and crouched down a bit away from Jess, while aiming at the machine. Her eyes turned green as she scanned the machine for weakpoints through her scope.

OoC @Berk: You could say it hit in some place where it wouldn't be lethal, like miraculously missing major organs or something to that extend.
On that note, help each other out. Just because a member of the group is downed doesn't mean they're safe.
As she inspected the door, Jessica would find that it had no handles or lever on the inside either. Because of that, it stood to reason that the door would close once the object that had been insert in its slot is removed.
As Envy had hoped, when he bounded off the wall, the missile couldn't change course in time and collided with it. Again, when Envy inserted the sword in the slot, there was a click, followed by the sword humming. But once more, the lid covering the object wasn't unlocked.
When the laser beams were sent back to the mech, the struck its main body. While the mech's surface was reflective, it wasn't enough to reflect the laser entirely, only dispersing the heat. The lasers penetrated the plating, but were dispersed before burning through it entirely.
With the efforts of Marcus and his drones, the metal covering the joint of the leg was damaged to such an extend, the hydrolics and wiring were exposed. Xyleena made small cuts at the base of the tail. As was the case with the joints, even though weak, it would take some time to penetrate completely
A dim white glow began covering the areas of the mech where it had been damaged. Sensing Xyleena was still clinging on to its body, the mech electrified itself.
The mech fired two homing missiles, this time, they went for both Savranth and Grace. As was the mech itself, the missiles were electrified also, and when they would explode, would unleash a burst of electricity along with the regular explosion.
At Marcus, the mech fired three more laser beams. Turning its tail towards Envy, it unleashed a jet of cold, which it trailed from where Envy stood towards Rex. Anything caught in the jet would be frozen, how much depending on the level of exposure.
Ness would find that the joints of the mech were most vulnerable, as well as the places on its side that would alow it to bend sideways.

OoC: @Nail, I might be mistaken, but are you saying the cone of cold is targetting Envy and Rex? Correct me if I'm wrong

Being an agile little freak on top of having above human speed, Envy was again able to dodge the attack, this time moving to insert the sword into the green object. "Guys whatever I'm doing, it's doing something, just give me some time!"

"Alright, fine. I was just thinking I could, you know, make it so that robot wasn't trying to kill everyone, but I guess your idea might be good too." Jessica shouted back at Envy through the doorway. Due to her attention being split between keeping most of her mind focused and using the rest of it to examine the door, Jessica didn't seem to notice that Ness had shown up yet.
Taking what she knew about the door she figured out how to open and close it. But with the situation as it was she wasn't entirely sure she would even need to anytime soon, so for the moment she peeked into the room to get a batter handle on the situation.

Rex activated his boosters in time to fly back and out of the range of the tail's freeze ray. He took aim at the busted joint and fired a few shots from his gun. A bit of blood started to leak out of his mouth.

OOC: Everything is. Quarians have no immune system, due to their entire species living on board a fleet of ships for 300 years. If their suits are penetrated, they tend to become sick in minutes. After that, it depends on how quickly the rupture is sealed, what treatment they're given, and what they were exposed to.Nailik said:OoC @Furioso: Yup.
