Jessica nodded to Erica in recognition of her first point, then sighed at her second point. She idly pushed around some scraps of food on her plate with her utensil as she replied to Erica, "Yeah, I get that. Don't really want to get reminded about when they died." I still can't walk down 6th street without getting chills. She shuddered a bit as she seemed to remind herself of something unpleasant. "You've still got Tophat though." She added, trying to cheer Erica up.
"That I do. He's been... really silent." Erica answered, first looking up at Jessica, then to Tophat, who she had placed on a chair besides her. "Anyway, let's change the subject. You more or less know about my family. Care to tell me around your own relatives?" she asked, looking back to Jessica once more.
Having finished her food, Jessica set her plate aside. Not really caring to sit still, she leaned her chair back and balanced it on its two hind legs. "Well, my mother's a Feline like myself. Dad's a human she met...ugh, I can't even remember anymore, I haven't heard that story in over 15 years....I've got a very slightly older brother, and have...well, had a younger sister." She answered Erica, sighing at the end.
"Had? I see... I'm sorry for your loss." Erica replied. While normally Erica would have to fight her inquisitive nature to refrain from asking what happened, now, she felt little desire to ask about it. Having slept poorly last day, Erica yawned, bringing a hand to her mouth to hide this as best as posible, not wanting to seem as if she found Jessica's story dull. "I'm sorry... But I'm rather tired. If you don't mind, I'd rather talk more another day. Afterall, I offer to accompany you, and I might as well stick to that. If you wish, you and... miss..." she trailed off, looking at Ness. "Umm... Your friend... Can stay here for the night. There's a guest room upstairs. It's the second door on the left. Good night." With that, Erica stood up and headed upstairs herself, entering her bed room to go to sleep.

Jessica was about to correct Erica on Vanessa's name when she found herself incapable of speech due to a yawn of her own. By the time she was finished, Erica was already almost out of earshot, so she simply gave her a "Thank you!" Going up to the guest room, she let Ness have the bed to herself while she found a chair to sit down and sleep in.

Fafnir was flying above the mountainsm guiding the two dragonlings, who looked rather clumsy in their flight, almost as if dazed.

Richard lead Envy to the equipment room, stopping at the door to insert the code, which, if Envy was paying attention to it, would see was 6431. Entering the room, Richard walked to the back and retrieved a sleek black earpiece. Activating it and tuning it to the propper channel, he handed it to Envy. "Here. As is the case with you rifle, lose it, and you'll be paying for a new one."

"These will do. You can use the slider on the right to zoom in or out, with a maximum range of 40 yards. Using the button under the slider, you can switch between standard vision, and infra red."
