Loki facepalmed upon seeing Ba'ul entering the cave, having spent enough time witht he dragonlings to know what he was after. "Gluttonous beast... You would do well to not feed it to much." he commented, directing his second half of the statement to Rita.

Ba'ul curiously looked at Loki with a tilted head, not sure what to think. Although he didn't understood what was being said, he recognised the tone of Loki's voice wasn't a flattering one. Once Rita began moving out of the cave, however, Ba'ul eagerly followed.

"I'd rather not fight, but assuming you need someone with water magic to put out a fire, I can do that." Erica said to Ness.

Once the woman tapped on Erica shoulder, she turned around. "Yes...?" she asked, although she had the nagging feeling she knew the woman she was looking at. The woman would find that although Erica now had longer hair, she remained virtually unchanged.

"Hmm...Even still, we could bring it up, while we're there." I say. I start to feel pretty uncomfortable in the crowd of people who all seem to know each other. "I'm up for a rescue mission." I say to the woman with the nice hat.

Yeah, not that good, retocnned it... Sorry... Now I feel stupid... Now to think up a valid method of introducing 'Helliot' as I think I'll refer to her... And a name for each personality, along with a better name for her...

Grace looked at the Foxgirl, and said, "If nobody tries, we'll never know." she said.

"Oh no, of course I don't intend on directly involving myself in this war. I'm not crazy enough to want to fight people or anything." Jessica replied to Erica. Hearing Ness talk about going to assist Lyra, she commented to no one in particular, "Guess we might as well just shelve this discussion on what to do next until this situation is dealt with."

Nybeth's zombies that he had posted as sentires around his cave very nearly attacked Ba'ul, until Nybeth had issued the mental command for them not to, causing them all to stand down and resume their hidden posts.

"Very well. Perform what tests you deem are necessary and get back to me." Nybeth replied to Loki and Rita.

Ness nodded to both Erica and Tanner. Her eyes were narrow and focused for once. She noted the woman tapping Erica but ignored her for the moment. "Putting out a fire should be more than enough, Miss Erica. Thank you for the support." Turning toward Tanner, she puts her hand to her chin. "May I ask you your name sir? I would be rude of me to ask assistance of you without it."

She simply sighed at what Sav had said. "I see.. I'll give my input on this King issue once I know that Lyra is safe for the moment." She looked around the rest of the group. "Will anyone else help me save Ms. Reed?"

Yuki just rolled her eyes at Sav before looking over at Ness. [color=bb66bb] "Great timing, fedora. I needed a little stress relief. I'm in." [/color] She turned to Grace and scoffed. [color=bb66bb] "Why try when you know you'll fail? That's the most idiotic thing you humans do. Fight the odds and wonder why, oh why, you failed." [/color]

 

[Furioso]

"Well I don't know how to train a dragon! I wont feed it as much, but I really wish I knew what I was doing. Bring whatever you want me to set fire to outside." Rita led Ba'ul out and tried to train him to "sit."

OoC: Yea I have no clue how to write for training this guy, so I'm just being vague

"Ha, I know. He's the one that recruited me in the first place, I told him I was good at espionage and assassinations and he instead sends me out as a glorified errand boy to beg others for gear. A replacement for him shouldn't be hard to manage." replied Envy

"Yeah, he makes normal Predators we've been fighting look like chumps. Not hard, mind you, but he does it well. Guys been patient for almost a week, poking us and herding us. Definitely smarter then you'd expect." Lyra responded to Ness, running to the edge of the forest and stopping alongside Marcus and Xyleena, hiding in cover. "Oh, and his cloaking is a hell of a lot fancier then normal pred's cloaks. Full spectrum, no heat shimmers, doesn't deactivate when he attacks, only water would turn it off."

"Lenard Jerome Tanner." I say, already deciding to drop my military title for now.

OOC: Mmmm..shower. If Ness leaves to do her thing, assume Tanner went and got his suit, then went with her. Persey (Persephone) also will follow.

The women smiled happily when Erica responded to her. "It IS you Miss Erica! I haven't seen you in years, yet you haven't changed much since I last saw you at college" The women said to Erica. "Although I've lost count of how man years that actually was...."

"It matters not. Nor do your abilities. If we wanted to assassinate anyone we wouldn't rely on you... Be grateful he didn't try to take advantage of you. If he had, he would have surely sent you to your death." Richard replied.

OoC: Well, I have nothing to add to the Predator thing. If you're gonna do that I'm gonna go play a game.

Grace nodded, as she held Ness's shoulder.

Mild begins to walk around the city, and eventually see's the group convineing... She begins to watch from the shadows, unnoticeable, like part of the background.

Ness nodded toward Tanner and Yuki before turning to Jess. "I'll act as a beacon. Try to teleport everyone to me once I get over there." Her belt glowed for a moment before pixels finally flowed into her hand, creating an SMG with two magazines on its underside and blue accents all over. She quickly tapped her clip and teleported herself and Grace toward Lyra's position, in cover. "Hello, Ms. Reed. Can you tell where the target is now?"

Yuki watched Ness teleport away before sighing.

"YOU! WHOEVER'S TRYING TO KILL US! WHY ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US!" She shouts, transforming into her Omega form.

As he followed after Rita and the zombies approached in a threatening fashion, Ba'ul bared his teeth and spread his wings as wide as the enclosed space would alow. He lowered this aggressive posture and resumed following Rita once the zombies backed off, however. Once outside, and when Rita began her training of Ba'ul, he looked at her, wondering why the food wasn't coming.

Loki picked up the jar containing the explosive substance and brought it outside. Unscrewing the lid, Loki carefully spilled the gray-green power that was the substance into the lid, using this method to measure how much he used. Satisfied with the amount, Loki spilled it on the ground, infront of a boulder to lessen the chance of a gust blowing it away. Once done, he screwed the liud back on and walked back to Rita. "Well then..." he said, indicating he wished her to ignite the powder.

Erica looked at the woman for a moment until it finally dawned on her who it was she was looking at. "Valentine!" she cheerily exclaimed, hugging Valentine whilst smiling brightly. Letting go of Valentine, Erica's smile disappeared as she focused on the task at hand. "You've found me at a bad time, I'm afraid." When Ness teleported away, however, Erica raised an eyebrow, looking somewhat confused, then looking back to Valentine. "Well... Never mind that, I guess." After a pause, Erica smiled again. "I'm happy to see you again, Valentine! Don't ask me how long it's been, though. I don't know. Anyway! I got your letter two days ago, but what are you doing here?" she asked, speaking rather quickly.

OoC: @Hatchy, you gonna be on much longer?

Sighing, Rita turned away from Ba'ul. She created a small fireball, so that it wouldn't just engulf the material, and sent it towards the powder.

Envy chuckled "I wouldn't underestimate me, but the point was that he seemed to be in dire need of what he wanted me to get, yet was either too lazy or too incompetent to get them himself."

Valentine smiled at Erica. "Well I have some time off between tasks and I found out you were still alive, so I figured I'd visit you for a little while" She explained to Erica. "How have you been though Miss Erica? I'm sorry if I've visited at a bad time....I just don't know how long I'd have to wait if I was to see you again...." She added, rubbing the back of her head slightly.

OoC: @Fur, not really no, it's coming up to 4 am and I'm drifting off in my chair as I type....

Nybeth nodded with Rita's request. He swiped up one of his jars filled with toxic gas and followed her outside.

"Might as well at least try to be useful." Jessica said with a small sigh as Ness left. Putting her visor back on, she fiddled with the controls a bit to bring up an image of the area around Ness. She drew a circle on the ground in chalk, then activated the portal she was making. Not wanting to actually drop into a combat zone for even a moment, she tossed a nearby rock through her portal to test it, causing it to appear a few feet away from Ness' position in a blue flash of light. "Alright, everyone who wanted to help Vanessa in her rescue mission, hop on in." She said, motioning to her portal.

Once Ness asked that, a knife would be thrown at her, though it would appear invisible until the halfway point between the attacker and Ness.
As Grace asked who was trying to kill them, a small box would be lobbed at her, arcing to land in front of her.

Mild slowly walks out of the shadows, and said to Jessica...
"Um... Well, I... A friend went with her, I think... May I go?" she asked.

Grace's tail grabs the box as it lands, and throws it back.
"IF THAT WAS A NOTE, CAN YOU TALK TO US, INSTEAD!?"

"I know what he was trying to do. He was trying to bolster his forces with a few choice people, he heard of. All of whom had denied his requests. He must have thought someone else may have had better luck." Richard replies.
