As Rita shot her fireball as the small pile of power, the power exploded, the explosion being about as loud as a firecracker would be. The boulder, however, has a small hole blown into it where the pile of power had been deposited, and from the hole, several cracks rose up.
"Well, now we know it is combustable, and that even a small amoumt such as that posseses more then enough power for what it is to be used for. We could even do with lessening the amount, without it failing to do as intended." Loki commented, inspecting the damage done.
When the power went off, Ba'ul jumped back out of instinct and looked towards the boulder cautiously to spot any attacks, not knowing any better. The explosion had also attracted the attention of Fafnir, who was perched ontop of a peak to overlook the area. She didn't like the idea of explosions relatively close to her den all too much and came to investigte.

Upon seeing Jessica make a portal and say those that were to follow Ness would need to hop through it, Erica sighed and looked back to Valentine. She explained the little information she had, Valentine agreeing to help Erica out on the endeavor.

The duo hopped through the portal, Erica looking around for the suposed fire once on the other side.

Ness had been able to see the glint of the knife as it flew past and managed to roll out of the way of it. As she did so, she blind fired in the direction of the knife, sending electrically charged bullet everywhere.

The package Grace grabbed exploded on contact, showering her and all those near her in shrapnel buzzing past at high speeds. The knife impacted against a tree branch and sat for a second before also exploding, causing a fireball behind the group. "Suppose that answers your question Ness? Best hop behind cover, before he takes your head off. Stole my rifle 2 days ago when I passed out from lack of sleep, been using it on-" A shot echoed from a tree far from where the knife had been tossed, aimed at Yukino, firing a high caliber bullet that would explode on contact.

Ya'ti reslung the rifle quickly, and dropped from the branch, holding on with just a hand, before spinning and tossing himself into another nearby tree, catching onto the branch with his legs and watching the group to see how they'd react to his multi pronged attack.

Caressed by Rita, Ba'ul quickly settled down. Fafnir landed in the space between the dragon den and Nybeth's cave, looking around for anyone that could be hiding beneath rocks, having seen nothing from the air.

Yukino's ears twitched for a moment as she heard movement. She barely moved and yet the bullet missed her. In a flash, the foxgirl's aura focused around her blade before she dashed forward leaving an afterimage of herself. A few moments later, she'd appear around the area of Ya'ti and swing her blade rapidly, sending a wild torrent of fireballs all around her. [color=bb66bb] "You asked for it, asswipe. Make sure you burn nice and slow for me." [/color]

Mild... Gets a few pices of shrapnel in herself, which begin to slowly heal. She begins to look around, wincing in pain.
Gracebegins to look around, and see's Ya'ti, and, being in cover, dosn't get hit by the progectiles. (I'm assuming you meant Grace) falls down in pain, at having several pounds of shrapenel in her. She see's the predetor, and transforms into her squirrel form, as she begins to climb into the trees, and look for him, with a few wounds in her squirrel form.

Well, this is chaotic as hell. Feels like home, unfortunately, I think as I instantly start scanning the area and crouch low, trying to hide behind a dense cluster of trees. Lot's of projectiles, so I try and track trajectory.

Ya'ti, displaying skillful movement, dodges the fireballs shot at him, and drops to the ground, taking a few beats to locate Lyra before charging her, the stirring leaves the only sign of his advance.

We need for the pouches to be concealable, so they should be relatively small, but not as small that they would only contain a neglectable amount of gas." Loki said to Rita, then went on to explain the size of the pouches that are to be fashion. "The pouch to hold the power should be attached to the main pouch on top, and slightly to the side. It is here the stiches of the main pouch are to meet, and thus would be most vulnerable there."
Once he explained this, he walk over to Fafnir and blew on his fingers to get her attention. Stepping closer, Loki stroked Fafnir's nuzzle, although it was obvious there was a lack of affection.

Seeing Grace pelted with shrapnel Erica's first instinct was to heal her, but she put this aside when she saw Grace was still in fighting shape, and thus figured the wounds couldn't be too severe, and delaying in healing them wouldn't cause permanent damage. Instead, Erica rushed into cover next to Ness, Valentine following suit.

Looking towards Ness with an sense of urgency, Erica said, "I don't see any fire that needs extinguishing. And from where are we being attacked?" she asked. Even in the heat of battle, Erica sounded relatively calm and collected, more then one would have assumed, given her frail appearance.

Ness managed to notice the rustling leaves. She motioned toward them to Erica. "That thing that's invisible.. is the fire so to speak. If you could hit that thing with some water, we'd have a much easier time." She whispered. She took a few moments to judge the object's speed before leading her bullets so the thing would run into them.
