When the maintenance crew showed up, Loki casually strolled over to them, pressing the scepter against their chests as he passed. Once done, Loki revealed himself to the maintenance crew. "Why, of course she is persistant about this. You both have been called her for a greater purpose." he began, speaking with an amused tone and bearing a mischievious grin. Holding this left hand out to the maintenance man carrying the toolboxes, Loki manifested one of the bombs in the palm of his hand, then laying the bomb on the counter of the receptionist, followed by retrieved the other bombs he had stored in his unseen inventory. "You. These sacks are filled with gas. I want you to place them in whatever place would alow the gas to spread rapidly throughout this compound via the ventilation system." he explained, then looked to the other maintenance man. "And you, I want you to seal off any exits besides the main entrance and cut the power. Am I understood?" he said, directing the question towards both maintenance men.

Erica and Valentine spend a bit more time talking to eachother, then Erica went to look for Lyra, Valentine following.

 

[Saltyk]

Savranth was lying in a bed looking up at the ceiling.

"Yes, sir."
"As you wish."

Each maintenance man went about their appointed tasks.

Yuki smiled uncharacteristically as she waved Persephone off.
She and Black made small talk and stuff.

Ness' eyes brightened a bit as she nodded, agreeing with the idea.

Since Savranth didn't seem to notice her arrival, Jessica gave him a, "Hi there." to try and get his attention. She strolled over a little closer to him, not directly entering his line of sight for the moment so as to not accidentally startle him.

@Dirty: Aside from terrorism, not a whole lot actually.

 

[Chungus]

Loki followed the man carrying the bombs and watched him plant the bombs. Once they were in place, he said, "Now, you are to wait until the power is cut. When this happens, light the fuses of the bombs." he commanded, then returned to the lobby the way he came and went outside. As he walked, Loki's grin slowly went from mischievous, to one that spoke of malice. Standing outside the lobby, he looked inside, waiting for the chaos that was to ensue.

"Hello. Are you done with Lyra's chore?" Savranth asked Jessica.

The base's power goes out. After a moment, one would hear a small popping sound thorough out several locations as the gas begins to spread about the base.

 

[Drakmorg]

"Not yet. Wanted to let you know that we were about to start actually, in case you wanted to help." Jessica replied to Savranth.

Nybeth continued meditating and waiting for Loki's signal.

Lyra waved Valentine and Erica over.

Seing the lights inside the lobby go out, Loki began counting down, remembering the time it took for the fuse to burn up from the time a bomb was tested back on the mountain range. Once he counted to zero, Loki casually strolled into the center of the grounds of the base, holding up his scepter in the air to give Rita and Nybeth the signal. And now to watch these petty ants be crushed. he thought, ever grinning maliciously.

Finding Lyra and seeing her wave, Erica walked over to her, Valentine following. "So, what do you require us to do?"

 

[Furioso]

Rita wanted to cause some nice panic while she still had the element of surprise, so she went for a high level spell while she still had the luxury of no one trying to stop her casting. "O countless particles that wander the very heavens, rain down and glorify the land... Meteor Storm!" From above approximately 6 fairly large fiery boulders seemed to appear from nowhere and rain on the troops in the southern end of the base, causing some nice splash damage as they landed as well.

"I think I'll pass for now. I have no desire to hunt monsters. Besides, I thought we had other things to do..." Savranth replies.

OoC: Besides, I'll be going to bed, soon.

As Sophia continued she came to a sudden realization that stayed her blade. 'Hmm... how should I do her arm... Maybe I should have started with Vanessa's first before her...' She said as she looked at the lump of wood, tumbling it in her hand. 'I shouldn't take much more off that side until I ask her.' She confirmed to herself as she continued.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"keep an eye on Vanessa, follow her. Help her take care of the job shes got. Shouldn't be too hard for you guys, right?" she asked, moving towards the door.

Ness set off toward the forest to look for the fairy.

Yuki and Black found themselves guest rooms.

OoC: And I'm gonna go to sleep.

@Dirty: Jessica technically is. No clue where exactly she is though.

"What do you mean 'other things'? I don't have the ability to fight in the war. And doing this gets us into some ruins so we can investigate whoever wants you dead." Jessica replied to Savranth. "Unless you've found a picture of Santaio or something. I don't really care to hunt monsters either, so I'd be happy to help you with that."

Seeing Loki's signal, Nybeth started identifying singular targets on the outskirts of the base. "Bring the pain to blood and flesh, this demon cast from mortal coil!" He cast Word of Pain, launching purple projectiles from the tip of his walking stick at his identified targets that would explode into sharp knives of energy capable of slicing through just about anything whenever they struck something.

 

[Saltyk]

"Rockkbyrd is supposed to have a lost clan of beastkin there. I doubt they would know anything of any other being." Savranth replied. "Though, as for the picture, would you need one of a certain location or the whole city? You didn't explain that much."

 

[Chungus]

When Rita conjured up the meteorites, those that were standing a decent distance away, fifteen soldiers in total, jumped back, but still were knocked down by the shockwave. Eight soldiers weren't so lucky. Two were crushed by the meteorites itself, three were flung into the air, their organs ruptured by the shockwave, two were crushed by the debris the meteorites kicked up, and one was set one fire. The soldier who was on fire rolled on the floor in a effort to extinguish the flames.

"Shit! We're under attack!"

"Where did that come from!"

The soldiers that were positioned on the walls surrounding the base looked around, using infra red vision to help detact their enemy in the jungle. Sixteen soldier ran towards the mortar cannons that were spread throughout the grounds of the base, each cannon requiring two people to opperate. They primed the cannons and waited for further instructions.

Having the element of suprise on his side, Nybeth's Word of Pain spells hit their marks. Three soldiers who were mounted on the wall fell down as they were covered in thousands of cuts. One soldier was lucky enough to break his neck as he fell, the other two, however, writed on the ground as they slowly bled out.

In the waters surrounding the area the base was built, fifteen highspeed watercrafts, each mounted with a machinegun made their way towards the base, having seen the meteorites falls.

Not wanting to let Rita and Nybeth have all the fun, Loki, still concealed, fired an energy blast form his scepter at the soldier was on fire, killing him in a blue explosion.

Enemies: 123 soldiers.
16 soldiers operating 8 mortar cannons.

"No, we can do that." Erica answered Lyra.

Following Ness, Erica and Valentine... were suddenly caught in a time bubble.

 

[Furioso]

Seemingly still concealed, Rita used another spell, aiming at the canons "O seething fire, be as a holy beast to devour the wicked... Flame Dragon!" Coming out of the jungle a large dragon made of flame errupted forth, heading towards the cannons like a missile, twisting and turning as it went. It would not stop until it passed through a few of the turrets, regardless of whether or not the troops had the sense to get out of the way. Once it was cast Rita made her way to a different spot.

OoC: @Nail, that many troops? Oh this won't end well.
