'It stops magic from spreading.' she thought, not believing what she was hearing. Composing herself slightly she took a small bow. "Thank you for your time, but I just remembered I... forgot something in the hall." She said as she quickly left the room.

'Where was that sign from earlier!' She hastily jogged down the hall.

"From here? About as far as Lakewest. It's South-East of here, on the northern end of the mountains." Savranth explained, then looked around. "I don't know. The crests should only react to magic..."

The glyphs all stopped glowing rather suddenly.

"That was an odd girl..." The red haired girl said, as Sasha left.

The foxgirl adopts a bit of a ":<" face as Saya pokes her. She returns the favor by lightly bopping her on the head/skull. [color=bb66bb] "Stawp." [/color] The poking of her staff had no effect as the souls are mainly stored in Yukino's katana.

She looks over at Adam and tilts her head slightly. [color=bb66bb] "I smell blood on you... Mind telling me your name?" [/color]

Ness nods toward Jessica and gives Echo a little smile for snapping her out of her confusion. "Do you have any objections to me coming along? Exploring a little more might help us see the other side of this war."

He notices Saya poking Yukino with her Shaman staff.
"What is it Saya? What's bothering you?" He asked from a few persons away.

"Jessica, are you traveling somewhere?"

The Rookie disappeared out the front gate, heading towards the camp.

Saya rubbed her head a little and adjusted her skull. "Hmm...fox human..." She then gave Yukino a similar light bop on her head. "I sense...evil omens!" She said to Dal.

Echo looked slightly apprehensive about the idea of exploring. She especially didn't like the idea of going to the "Wilde Lands."

"I'm Adam. What do you mean bl-" Adam glanced down at the hole in his armour. "Oh, yeah. That was from the guy whose armour this was. But he attacked me first. He was running away, but still... don't start what you can't finish."

Anna was currently walking down the spiral staircase, checking in on various classes, students, delivering reprimands when necessary.

"No... No that is not normal. They shouldn't activate unless someone is using magic." Savranth stated.

"Of course not!" Jessica enthusiastically replied to Ness. "It'd be nice...and probably a lot safer now that I think about it, to have company while I travel. Plus we still have several things to talk about, in case you forgot, so at least we can keep each other from getting too bored on the road."
Hearing Sable nearby, she turned to face him and said, "Yes indeed! You want to come along too?"

@Salty: Like I said, specifics would help. I can't do much with Jessica knowing 'volumes of information' about 'varients of beastkin' and those ticks and personality traits they supposedly have if I don't know them myself.

"Evil, huh?" She's curious. "You mean the fox girl over there is giving you evil sensations?"

Loki gave Sasha a curious look as she left the training are. Hmm. If the floor reacts to the casting of spells only, and stopped after she left the room... I wonder what is afoot. This warrents investigation. His interest piqued, Loki followed after Sasha, moving at a relatively slow pace.

Roland followed, wishing his master would tell him more, feeling rather restless without an objective to follow.

The book Lyra read told of various aquatic serpents. Both the ones that lived in sweet and salt water lived in packs, with a larger serpent leading it. These larger serpents are a rare breed, as they posses a heart made of crystal, rather then flesh. It is currently unknown how a crystal heart is able to pump blood, as attempts at vivisection were met with the subject dying and desintigrating almost imediately after the heart was exposed.

"Of course. You may be from my future, but you are still a resident of Castlewood, and therefore I am honor-bound to protect you from harm."

"She must be....evil spirit!" Saya explained to Dal, then chanted a few words to send the 'Evil Yukino Spirit' to the Netherworld.

 

[Furioso]

"Well then don't cast any magic in here until it's fixed. Now, about this Rockbyrd place, how willing would they be to let me use some Mythril, I would only need a tiny bit."

Yukino's ears droop a bit as Saya bops her. She smiles a bit as she bops the shaman again in the same way. [color=bb66bb] "Yeah, I'm a foxgirl, and -sniff- you're a demon, correct?" Her energy feels familiar to... someone... [/color]

She looks over at Adam and gives him a nod and a smile. [color=bb66bb] "So true... I think I like you already. So, how'd you get that armor? Did you rip it off a dead body?" [/color]

Ness smiles as she nods along with Jessica.

 

[Slenn]

"Hmmm...." He watched Yukino and Adam patiently as he finished up his meal, as they were the only ones that were conversing.

Adam is... questionable. He took a sip of beer.

"I dunno. She's told us that that Blake guy was going to kill a bunch of innocent people, and she wants to stop it. In my book, that makes you pretty not-evil."

Adam looked over at Yukino. "No, I threatened to get the Xiphatians to turn the guy into a golem if he didn't strip naked and walk home with a hole in his leg."
