The general chuckled, and said in English "you know, you stand quite still for a rat. Might want to fix that next time you try to infiltrate our base. Scurry around, nibble at our food supplies perhaps." As he spoke, he tapped at the controls for the holograms.

Jessica was only half-asleep by the time Savranth showed up and knocked on her door. "Yeah, come in." She called through the door, rubbing her throat with her left hand a bit when she was done speaking.

Yuki sneered a bit toward Chafla as he swatted her hand away. She simply waited for the jester to respond to Persephone's question.

Ness emerged from the shop in a new white tanktop, comfy pants with a snow camo print on them, and a new coat resembling her old one. She sighed a bit as she walked toward the lake. ...That left me a little low...

Savranth walked into the room. "How are you feeling? Any better?" He asked, concerned. "Can you walk, yet?"

Rat-Envy looked around a bit, trying to seem like a rat who was just having a little rest and sitting down

"So far, the pests have included aquatic serpents, imps, dragons and fearies." Chafla agitatedly answered Persephone. "Now are you going to do something about it, or are you just gonna talk? If all you plan on doing is talk, save us all some time and go away."

"Are you sure these creatures are not just native to this area?" Persephone questioned.

OoC: @Outis: Why would that make literally every other person want to take that chance? You're asking him to make a deal for common people to use this stuff. But he's skeptical that anyone would want to use it. And honestly, teaching people to use such things would also be an issue.

Those are valid arguments, but Tiberius should tell Tanner that Tanner's tech won't blow up on people, otherwise the discussion is pretty much over.

The general sighed, stood up from his spot, and pulled a small blade. "I can accurately place this knife through a targets single ***** in its armor from a hundred of your feet away. Hitting a rat and sticking it to the floor at my leisure will be no problem. Lets not play this charade now. You decided to pretend to be a rat where there was no food in that place. You sat stock still for close to 20 minutes as I briefed Tan on her briefing, and then watched as I veiwed troop logistics. You are a spy in some form of cloak or transformation, or a god in disguise. And I seriously doubt that a god decided to visit us, no matter how convincing you might be able to act it. So please, return to a natural form so that we might have a cordial conversation."

Jessica sat back up in bed once Savranth came in and nodded to him with a smile. [sub]"I feel a lot better than I did yesterday!...Not sure if I can walk yet though, I've mostly been sleeping all day, so I haven't really tried yet..."[/sub] Wanting to know about the task the King had given them, she asked, [sub]"Did you manage to find out more about what we have to do now?"[/sub]

Envy transformed, but not into his default form, instead turning into a Xiphatian mage in uniform lunging at the General with a blade protruding from his wrist, Assassins Creed style, shouting "Die monster!"

 

[FPSfanatic]

The general caught the blade arm with his free hand, pulling it to the side and using it to pull Envy forward. "Really? When I have the blade out and everything?" He then viciously stabs Envy in the stomach, dragging the blade up to the ribs. "And in your pajamas, no less. I mean, really, coming at me nude would have been more effective. I would have hesitated for a split second. Not that you would have had success either way."

 

[Chungus]

"Since there is not a thing of interest to be found here, yes." Loki answered. Making his way back to where he had left Fafnir, Loki mounted, and took off once Rita did the same.

Time skip.

Neither Rita nor Loki could find anything on the other islands either. "All this time, and still we have found nothing. Where could hundreds of ships, and what must be tens of thousands of personel have gone to? The only thing I can think of now is that they have build a submergable base..."

"Of course! They come from here, there is no question about that!"

 

[Saltyk]

"That's good. Hopefully, you'll be better in time... As for what we are supposed to do, I haven't heard anything beyond trying to find the base. I think we were supposed to work out the details with those other people." Savranth replies.

OoC: I would think the Predators would be reluctant to actually affect the world.

"Hmm... I'm not really sure what to do then, I would have no way of searching beneath the sea."

Envy's head lulled forward for a moment, feigning death, before using one arm to grab the General and further the lock he had on Envy, while simultaneously bringing his knee, which now had a spear like appendage extending from it, forward with above human speed, attempting to knee the General in the chest while they were at such a close range.

"...I see. Let us go..." Persephone said as she smoked over to Yukino and stared leading her away.

The general let go of his blade to eject his claws, jabbing them into Envy's leg at the thigh, shattering bone and destroying muscle where it hit. He took the knee to the stomach well, his heavy armor blunting the blow.
"And here I was about to lump you in with the jelly-men of Oovoo 4."
OoC @Salty Just like any other group, the views of the predators are fragmented. Some don't want to piss off the person (or people) who hijacked there ships, while some don't care, feeling the honor of standing your ground should take precedence to obeying some non-predators orders, and some think coming to this planet was a demonstration in futility, the idea of sending an army into a country purely to kill one man.

But all of them view the planet as a conquest. Some just feel more honest about it.

The disguised Yuki walked away with Persephone, watching Chafla for a moment. Meanwhile on a rooftop nearby, another Yuki was cloaked and watching the madman. [color=bb66bb] Well... you had a chance... [/color]

Ness found herself outside the Spice Rack.

I think I remember meeting at least one of them the day I first showed up here, but I haven't seen either of them since then. Have you spoken to them about that yet?"[/sub]

Envy grunted in pain before falling back, red sparks, which would appear to be some kind of magic, erupting from his wounded areas as the skin, muscle, and bone knitted back together before he took off out of the tent, turning into a bird and attempting to fly north.
