Hearing Tophat's warning Tophat's warning Tophat's warning about the web, and not wanting to risk attemptingto block it with a ward, only to have all her spells sealed, or something equally undesirable, she leapt out of the way, landing on her stomach, avoiding smacking her face against the ground by holding her arms infront of it. Hearing the knight charging towards her, she rolled onto her side and scrambled up, relived to see Rookie had laid down suppressive fire. That was far too close. Time to go all out... Facing the wizards, Erica raised her left hand upwards. The eye of the storm-like tattoo on the top of her hand appeared infront of it, as if projected. After this, a large tornado, reaching up to the clouds, formed around the wizards, with winds powerful enough to lift slabs of rock from the ground. Two grey-green-scaled serpentine dragons descended from the sky and began circling aorund the tornado, further increasing wind velocities. After having circled it three times, the dragons moved inside the tornado and crashed head-first into the ground, violently dispersing the winds, and potentially pulverising everything that hadn't been shredded by the winds themselves already.

With Tanner out of the suit, four soldiers emerged from the gates while those that had their guns trained on him still did so. Two of the soldiers approached Tanner. "On your feet. Keep your hands behind your head."

One of the other soldiers reached for his earpiece. [sub]"Sir, we've captured one of the off-worlders working for Xiphatia."[/sub]

"Is that so? Bring him into the interview area. I want to speak to this person personally." Richard answer, standing up and leaving his office.

Given that Persephone was outside, in a mountain range, she would find no door.

They've got intel on me? Damn...this is going to make things awkward... I think as I slowly follow orders.

"So...where am I meant to go then?" Persephone asked.

Jessica tilted her head to one side and hummed in dissatisfaction. "That would be annoying if that were the case. I couldn't imagine any way of investigating that possibility either." Plus I don't really want to, considering I would probably just sink like a stone... She closed her eyes and slowly tilted her head from left to right, seeming to be thinking of something. "Is there anywhere else besides the ocean that we could possibly look?"

Ness looked around all over and a bit awkwardly for the altar she remembered. "I'm pretty sure... that the altar was supposed to be around here somewhere."

Yukino facepalmed. [color=bb66bb] "Idiot." [/color]

"Take your time, darling." Persephone said as she folded her arms over her chest.

"And there is no need to be so critical." Persephone said to Yuki with a disapproving furrowed brow.

 

[Furioso]

"Well, there is the Wild Lands, but we had already explored that area. Unless they managed to build a base on the mainland I can't think of any other spots they could be." said Rita, frowning.

The alter was at the center of the clearing.

"Follow us." The soldiers who had contacted Richard said to Tanner, moving back into town, going to the main building. Two soldiers walked out infront, while the two others stayed at the rear. Entering the main building, the soldiers lead Tanner to a converance room. Sitting at the head of the table was Richard.

"Place your hands against the wall and spread your legs." he said, whilst looking Tanner over.

One of the two mechs walked over and picked up Tanner's armour, carrying it into town.

Jessica sighed and sat down a few feet away from Rita. She assumed it was at least somewhat well known that she wasn't native to the planet anymore, so she felt free to take out her camera and examine the map picture she had stored on it. "You said you explored three islands, right? Because I count four. Which ones did you already look around on?" She asked Rita, leaning over and showing her the map.

OOC: Mmm...I guess you could "pick up" Tanner's armor...I guess...

Again I silently do as I'm told. They won't find anything anyway, considering I'm in nothing but my under-suit.

"Is that it there?" Persephone asked as she saw the alter and started to glide toward it.

Ness nodded toward Persephone and took a step back. "Please... be careful."

Yuki watched while leaning on a nearby tree, arms crossed.

Persephone nodded and studied the alter.

 

[Furioso]

Rita stared at the map for a moment. "...There are 4 islands? I was under the impression that there were only the three small ones there... ugh, now I feel stupid. That's the most likely spot for them to be at then." said Rita, kicking herself for not checking a map previously.

OoC: ...I probably should have checked the map

"Well, look at it this way, at least now we have a smaller place to look besides two continents and the entire ocean." Jessica straightened herself in her seat and went back to looking at the map herself. "Since this big island has a mountain in the center, I suppose it makes sense that they would try to hide their fleet behind it too."

 

[Furioso]

"Hmmm, having learned of this places existence it seems painfully obvious that that's where they would be. It seems rather stupid that no one would have been keeping an eye on the area in the first place."

Grace walks in on Jessica and Rita's location, and walked up to them, "Hey!" she said, "What's going on?"

Loki found himself standing on a floating, bare island in a dark realm, the same realm Loki was in prior to coming to Anilam.

"Have you forgotten our agreement, Asgardian?" a voice called out, the speaker being nowhere to be seen. Mocking emphasis was placed on the word Asgardian. Looking restlessly looked around the area, Loki scanned the many shadowy crevices. "You were to retrieve the Tessaract for us, and instead what do you do? You go to a world you're not supposed to be, acting as if you have no obligations. We are displeased by this..."

"It cannot be help. I know not why I ended up where I did. It was a unforeseeable twist. I had no--" Loki was cut off when a figure emerged infront of him. It was slightly shorter then he was, with faded purple skin, wearing black robes and a mask that covered half of the being's face, leaving only the mouth and chin exposed. "Don't feed us your lies, or that threacherous tongue will be plucked from your mouth..." the figure hissed. "You could leave at any time, yet you remain there, chasing your own ambitions, abusing our gift to do so. Mark my words, if this continues, there will be no realms you can got to to escape our wrath..."

Loki scowled. "Your threats our empty. Were you able to leave this place, you would have done so already. But you and I know this is impossible as it stands."

"Our threats are empty?" the figure asked, moving behind Loki's back and placing a hand on his shoulder. "We may be trapped here, but we're not powerless... You have been warned."
The world around Loki faded to black.

With a light gasp, Loki woke up, the sceptre in his hand. He moved to the edge of the bed and sat upright, breathing heavily.

Persephone would find that on the altar, there were various indentations. They were organized in a cross shape. The one at the centre looks almost like a large keyhole, with one below it that looks like a spherical object, about twice the size of a tennis ball could fit in it. Above that was one that looked like a small oval with two strips on it. To the right, an indention that looked similar to a traditionally cut crystal, and to the left one like a square. All save the sphere and looked like they could be held in the palm of one's hand. Though the keyhole looked like it was rather deep.
The altar had suffered some corrosion as a result of being exposed to the elements, but not much.

When Tanner did as told, one of the soldiers that had lead him into the room began frisking him. The two soldiers that made up the rear left the room and waited outside the door.

"What did you hope to accomplish coming here?" Richard asked, almost casually.

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica gave Rita another shrug. "Maybe they've got decent reasons for that." She stuck her camera back in her pocket, since she didn't see any need to keep it out for the time being. "I guess now all we can do is wait for the others we're supposed to be working with to show up." Glancing over at Grace when she walked over to where she was sitting in the palace courtyard, she simply replied, "Very little."

 

[Wackymon]

Grace nodded, "Yeah. Who's she?" she said, gesturing to Rita.
"Hi!" she shouts.

Rita was a little shocked by Grace's sudden enthusiasm "Oh, hi, I'm Rita."
