Port Letosh still being on high alert, there were hundreds of soldiers present, some of which stood guard on the walls surrounding the port. There were also 40 turrets mounted along the wall, all of which were active. Two mechs stood at the gates.
As Tanner approached, both mechs, and 10 out of the 50 foot soldiers stationed on the walls trained their weapons on him. The turrets did very much the same.
"Get out of your armour, and on your knees." The mech on the left commanded, the voice coming through a speaker.

The armour where the Rookie had been hit was slightly cracked, and some blood was seeping through these cracks. Still, he got up on all fours and gave a thumbs up to Erica. The wizards were busy dealing with the whirlwind, and were thus no threat.
The knight Val kicked fell onto his comrade, who managed to make the other knight fall to the side instead of on top of him. He followed up by stabbing at Val, using his shield to block the fireball.

Ness noted the small tingling feeling, smiling a small bit as she took the muse's hand. The duo teleported onto the rooftop with Black and Yuki. The foxgirl looked over with a raised eyebrow as Ness explained how things might work out. She simply shrugged afterward. [color=bb66bb] "I'm fine with that... Jessica managed to eventually come across where Rita was seeming to be simply lounging about. She slowly made her way over to where she was sitting and stood several feet away from where she was sitting. "Uh...hi." She started off, trying to get Rita's attention. "So, seems like we're going to be working together for the time being. Can't really remember if we've met before or not..."
Black gave Yukino a T_T face. "[sub]I'm not a dam vocaliod and you know it![/sub] She muttered and crossed her arms. "Yes, coming along is fine with me..." She said to Yukino and Ness.

Ness sighed before nodding and took Yuki's hand before teleporting away for a moment. A few moments later, the fedora girl returned and took the other two girl's hands and teleported them to the place the group had first appeared at: the altar near Defense Base. "Let's hope that this works... or at least or at least no one's hurt in the process of trying."

Seeing Rookie was still in fighting shape, Erica briefly glanced at Valentine to check if she needed help. Seeing this wasn't the case, she turned her attention back to the wizards. Allowing the ward to collapse, making it revert to its inactive state in the form of a sphere. With her right hand, she sprayed the ground beneath and surrounding the wizards with lightning. The lightning remained in place, electrifying the ground.

Jessica gave Rita a half-shrug using only her left shoulder. "Maybe he figures the more people he's got working on it, the faster it'll get done?" She suggested to Rita to explain Garzic's thought process. "Anyway, since we're working together, we might as well know each other's names. I'm Dr. Jessica Broca, though you can just call me Jessica, or whatever you want really."
I finally clamor out and then kneel with my hands behind my head.

The two wizards started levitating, and one prepared a shield while the other launched a web of something black against Erica.

"You've got a point there, but it'd probably be pointless to try and argue that point to the King." Jessica replied to Rita. "Anyway did you and...uh...give me a minute here..." Jessica ground the toe of her shoes into the ground as she tried to remember something. "Loki! That was his name...I'm pretty sure. Anyway, did either of you manage to come up with anything yet?"
"No, we explored the three nearest islands, but there was nothing on them. We considered the possibility of a submerged base, but we have no way to find it or verify if there even is one." replied Rita, sounding annoyed that they hadn't found anything.
