Nodding to Rita, Loki walked with her, mostly for lack of anything better to do.

Outside the dragon den, Fafnir was teaching the dragonlings how to fly again, the dragonlings making slight progress, with them now controlling their changing altitude much better.

When the Carnifex collapsed, Valentine jumped off the the gun she stood on, wishing to avoid being crushed, hitting the ground, she rolled backwards before getting back to her feet with a slight jump. "We still got it." Valentine remarked with a small smile as she dusted her dress off. "Not something I would boast about, but, yes. I supose this rings true." Erica answered Valentine with a sigh, being a whole lot let cheery about it.
When Ness approached her, both Erica and Valentine nodded. "Yes. "I am fine." They answered, then Erica paused. "Do you by any chance know where we are? And what in Oblivion was that beast was?"

 

[Furioso]

Rita just leaned against a rock and watched the dragons fly for a bit.

Ness seeming to look a little more relieved after hearing both of the women were alright. "As for where we are... All I know is that we're on a spaceship of some sort and Lyra needs help... again. As for what that... thing was, I'm sorry, but I have no idea." Nor do I want to find out by fighting another one... She replied, sighing a bit.

OoC: About to try a microwavable breaded chicken burger I got from the dollar store where I work... if I disappear know that I died

Lyra spoke up, saying to Erica "Hell if I know, but it shredded terminator metals like a fat kid getting through Twinkie coverings. I'd hate to fight several of the bastards. I suppose I should formally welcome you all on board the darting dagger. This ship was used in the first recorded great hunt. Many heroes walked its halls. Terra, Bane, Axel, and Dancing blade himself. We'll be waiting a while for Marcus to repair himself and the rest of the fleet to arrive, so I should direct you all to your rooms, as well as our history texts and internet cafes." Lyra stood from the corpse of the carnifex, having removed the head. "take this, would you scotty?"
From one of the doors, came a thin, pale, ghost of a figure. "Aye aye, Lady Reed. I assume you wish this to go to the hall of cleansing for cleaning, and then to the trophy hall? Right away, my lady." from across the room, people might have heard marcus snicker.

Seeing that the creature was apparently dead, Jessica decided on her next course of action. She teleported on board Lyra's space-craft, appearing a few feet away from Ness. "Are you alright? What happened? What's going on now?" She asked, all of her question directed at Ness.

With little else to do, Nybeth returned to his cave to take stock of the losses his undead forces had recently taken.

OoC @Furioso: Can I have all your money if you do? And your face, can I have that too?

'Terminator metal'? Is that what those metalic limbs are made of? But why does that man have metalic limbs, and furthermore, how is that posible? Erica thought as she heard Lyra, for a moment losing herself to her inquisitive nature, before blinking a couple of times, snapping out of it.
Those are questions for another time. To get to the point... "I see." she said to Ness with a nod, then turned to Lyra.
"That's all well and good, but why exactly have we been brought here? One moment, we were sitting on a bench, minding our own business, the next we're fighting for our lives. An unpleasant change of pace, that."

"You're rather chirpy for someome who's just lost his arms." Valentine said to Marcus, hearing his snickering. With the effects of the Courage spell fading, Valentine's demeanor returned to her usual neutral one.
Both Erica and Valentine saw the pale figure, but didn't say aboutthing regarding it.

In the air, the dragonlings began playfighting, Fafnir giving a disapproving grunt to this.

OoC: @Nail, no, because I'm alive. It's actually pretty good, but the nutrition facts are disturbing.

Rita just watched with a bit of a chuckle.

@Furi: That sounds... interesting.

Ness was going to ask Lyra something once Jess warped in and gave her a slight shock. As she barraged her with questions, the fedora girl scratched her head as she replied. "I'm fine, my head just feels a bit weird. We got warped up onto this ship and fought some odd monster thing. And it looks like we're going to end up spending the night here. ...How did things go for you... and how'd your eyes change color like that?" She asked back, smiling a bit and curious about Jess' blue eyes.

Despite Ness having said she was fine, Jessica still felt uneasy. "Something caused our mental link to break, so that might be why your head is feeling weird. Or maybe it's more because of what broke the link...I don't even know what caused that." Her gaze started meandering around the room as she pondered over several things. "Uh, things went alright I guess. Still some work that needs to be done though." Redirecting her gaze back to Ness, she tilted her head curiously. "Huh? My eyes changed color?" she replied, not having been notified of any change in her eye color or having had an opportunity to look in a mirror before then.

 

[FPSfanatic]

"Yeah, sorry about that. Looks like the teleporter malfunctioned a bit. Luckily we only pulled in a few people and that monster, rather then a pool of lava. That actually happened once. Wasn't pretty. If you want, we can send you back down from where you came."
Marcus looked Valentine over. "Well, I've got your stunning personality to hang about with. Losing my arms seems to be a weekly occurence kind of thing. Shouldn't be too difficult to slap them back on."

Ness nodded, a bit relieved. "Well, can you repair it like last time? And here... Honestly, your eyes look kind of pretty this way." She took out her PDA and switched it to camera mode, allowing Jessica to see her face if she looked into the screen. "Well, I got a headache while fighting that monster, so it may have done something to the link. I'm glad to see things are working out for you on your side though." She said, smiling

 

[Chungus]

"You... might want to be more careful with the teleportation is that's the case." To think I was called reckless. "One moment..." Erica said, reaching into her statchel and retrieving her notebook, flipping through the pages. "Hmm... Would you happen to be Lyra Reed?"

Valentine chuckled lightly. "Thanks for the compliment, I guess." she said, crossing her arms. "But "slap them back on"? Are you some sort of robot?"

The dragonlings would continue to playfight mid-air for some time before they eventually tired themselves out. The plumited to the ground, having not yet learned how to land propperly. Fortunately for them, being sturdy animals, they weren't hurt by the drop. Ba'ul spopped Rita and approached her, looking at her with puppy-dog eyes as much was posible for a reptile, wanting a treat.

OoC: I'm being tasked with trying to set up a router. Last time it wouldn't work so I might accidentally kill my internet again, so assume I've gone to bed.

Rita wouldn't give Ba'ul a treat, she didn't have any on her anyways. She would try to spend some time with the dragon regardless, and would go to bed soon after.

Lyra nodded. "yeah, that's me."

Marcus bowed his head, before removing his skin mask to reveal his robotic head. "No, I was just super serious about scrubbing dirt off as a kid."

OoC gonna have to retire soon. Got maybe 2 posts in me.

"I should be able to fix it just fine. If not...well then let's just say you'd probably have bigger things to worry about." Jessica blushed a little at Ness' compliment and curiously examined what she was doing with her PDA. Seeing that Ness was using her device as a makeshift mirror of sorts, Jessica was able to see that her irises had changed to a bright blue color as opposed to their normal green. I wonder if this is because of...I should probably ask. "Let's just hope another one of those things doesn't show up then." She said to Ness while still examining her eyes.

"In that case..." Erica began as she closed her notebook and slipped it back into her satchel.
"I promised to help you some time ago, and I make a effort to never break a promise if ti can be helped. So, I'm staying until whatever needs to be done here gets done." she remarked, then paused. "Which raises the que--" Erica trailed off when Marcus peeled his skin back. Although Valentine was more accustomed to seeing robots, Erica had never seen quite like Marcus, and the sight left her stunned for a moment before looking back to Lyra, blinking a couple of times. "As I was saying. That raises the question. What is it that needs to be done here."

"I don't get it... Why make it look like you're a human? And how do those glowing eyes not show all the time?" Valentine asked.

Ness nodded a small bit as she handed her PDA to Jess to look at her eyes a little longer. "Great! And yeah... let's hope it doesn't happen again..." She added, sighing a bit. She looked over at Marcus pulling off his skin and shuddered a small bit.

"Well, I pretty much just need Ness as my second during the duel with the fang leader. If she can't make it, I'd be quite happy to have you serve in her stead."

"Technically I'm supposed to assassinate people. That's why I was put into this metallic body anyway. A 7 foot tall guy in a hoodie draws marginally less attention then a deathbot with glowing red eyes. They kept the normal features on me though, so that if they needed me to be a shock trooper I could act the part. Never got the chance to use me though, I booked it out of there and joined the wolves first chance I got."

"A duel? I'm not much of a fighter, I'm afraid. In fact, I wouldn't call myself a fighter in that sense at all. Without my magic, my combat prowess is non-exsistant."

""Put into this metallic body"? You weren't made this way...?" Valentine questioned, tilting her head slightly.
