As Brooke opened the door of the Spice Rack, she was greeted by Mint, was about to head outside by the looks of it. "Hello!" she greet with a radiant smile. Turning around, Mint ran into the lobby of the inn. "Mommy! Mint found a customer!"

"I heard, sweetie." Paprika answered.

Brooke smiled at Mint, who was only a few inches shorter than Brooke, then looked up at Paprika.
"Um... yes... I need a room. Do... do you have any left?" she asked.

OoC @Trilby: Damn, Brooke is teeny-tiny.

"Mint's going outside now." Mint anounced to Paprika. "Don't wander to far away now." Paprika answered, then looked to Brooke. "We do. Would you like a normal sized room, or a larger one?" Paprika asked.

"Uh, I think the smaller one would be best. How much does it cost?" Brooke asked.

"That would be 50 gold for one night, 120 for an extended time." Paprika answered, adjusting her bonnet.

Brooke reached around to the back of her belt, as if she was going to grab something, then looked crestfallen.
"I... I dropped my coinpurse. Do you know if there are any shops where I could sell some of my stuff?" she asked.

"Oh. That's unfortunate. But yes, you can find a general store that also buys items in the shopping district north-east if here."

Brooke smiled as she walked out of the inn, then headed over to the beach.
She sat down in the sand, drew a small transmutation circle, and tapped it. A large pile of sand shifted, then came together to form a purple, crystalline statuette.
Brooke picked it up, wiped a few grains of sand off it, then carefully carried it up to the shopping district.

Brooke would find the shopping district fairly quiet in the time of day it was. The stores were still open, but there was an obvious lack of customers.

Brooke looked for the general store, and entered it.
"Hello? I was wondering if I could sell this."
She approached the counter, and placed the statuette on it.

Once the statuette was presented it and looked it over, inspected the clarity of the crystal and how well-made the statuette was in general.

"A interested little piece. Where did you get it?"

"My father used to make them. He told me that hundreds of years ago, people made charms out of the crystal so they wouldn't get drunk." Brooke explained.

"Why the hell would you want something that stops you from getting drunk? That's just stupid." the shopkeeper remarked, mostly speaking to himself. Looking back to Brooke, he said, "Anyway. The thing is in good condition, and the crystal is nearly unblemished. I'll give you 200 gold for this."

OOC: Hi everybody. Sorry for disappearing. We can say that Echo ran out of the hotel and, after being tripped over her own cloths, she hit her head and was knocked out. So yeah, teenage girl, knocked out in her underwear in the street.

Death, after Echo was knocked out, picked her up and brought her back to the hotel room, and got her clothed, and sat there, waiting.

The shopkeeper picked up the statuette and placed it on the shelf behind him, then turned back to Brooke, opening and reaching in to a drawer in the counter that served as a till, and handed Brooke four coins, a '50' stamped on the back of the coins. "Here you are. Have a nice day."

Echo woke up and, after seeing Death, tried to run again. She ran out into the street and tried to look for some sort of police type person.

Holly woke up in her room, rubbing her eyes slightly.

Blair, who was already awake saw Echo running away and deiced to follow her, to check if she was okay.

Death sighed, and began to follow Echo in the shadows, unable to be seen by her.
