OoC @wacky: All this rules when a person can or can't see Death are really unnecessarily confusing... Also, I just realised this is taking place in Xiphatia, which means the soldiers wouldn't have guns. But, since magic users can appearantly see Death, they can too.

OOC: I guess I'll throw my characters into the fray. Where are everyone else's characters located? I think I'll be more proactive about getting into interaction. Learned my lesson about having them wait for other people from last weekend...
"What's happening..." Echo repeated as she got out her writing supplies. She turned Holly around and bent her over slightly so she could write on her back. Doing her best to write clearly and legibly, she wrote her side of what happened and then handed the paper to one of the soldiers.
"The hell?!" one of the soldiers exclaimed as Death approached.
"Is... is that walking skeleton trying to bribe us?" the other mused aloud, disturbed by what he saw in several ways. Shaking his head, the soldier drew his sword again and pointed it at Death. "It seems like you did more then just 'scare her'. Whatever you are, you are hereby under arrest."
While his collegue confronted Death, the other turned back to Echo, although kept an eye on Death. He also wondered why Echo was writing something down, rather then simply speaking. "It's okay, you can tell us." he said to Echo, while at the same time finding it odd Echo's voice sounded nearly identical to first his own, then Holly's. What's going on here?
