Marston would be chilling in the military base, trying to ignore the dirty looks he was surely getting.

OOC: Whelp, let's see about jumping in and introducing a new character.

Jessica stepped out of a portal in Ghost-Town. She wandered around for a while, looking around for one of her associates, as she had located Ness to still be in the city and assumed the rest were still there as well.

Meanwhile, near the Xiphatian Forward Base, an old-looking man approached the military installation. He walked rather sprightly for how old he looked, and seemed to barely even require the use of the walking stick he carried to move.

 

[Saltyk]

The dragon lifted it's head and stared at Loki. It snorted and then eyed Rita. It went back to eating. Not impressed by either display.

Vanessa would find a few ash ghosts moving around. Mostly seeming to watch over sick patients. Some even seem to be those sick patients, just sort of floating on nothing.

The soldier narrowed his eyes at Yukino. "Do you have any concept how many soldiers are here, beast? The minute you try anything, you might as well turn that blade on yourself." Several soldiers surround Yukino, weapons drawn. Rifles levied at her. "Inform the Major. He and Soto have a guest, I think."

One soldier places his hand to his ear. He speaks some form of codeword.

Envy would find the city streets to be full of people, shops, an array of magical devices. Shaintaio is a city of magic. A place where anything seems possible.

Spoiler: Shaintaio

The capital of Xiphatia. It is sits on an island to the north of the main continent. Made up of grand structures, towers, statues, magical floating structures. The seat of Xiphatian power.

Rex puts his hand to his chin at Remy's comment. "I guess, but the person who had the leprechaun was already screwed, so whatever, free carrot."

He chuckles at Blair's comment. "True enough..." He takes out an mp3 and starts scrolling through songs. "So what are we listening to? I've basically got everything..."

Ness looks over at Echo and smiles. "Nice to see you, Miss Echo. How are you?" She looks over at Silver and tilts her head. "Echo... do you know him?"

As she sees the sick ghosts, Ness walks inside and talks to one who seems not to be presiding over any patients. "Excuse me... can you help me with something?"

The soldiers would feel a slight breeze before seeing Yukino crouching on a rooftop above them all. She had ran past all of them in a split-second, just cause. [color=bb66bb] "Relaaax~ , relaax~. I'm only here to show you dumb you all are for not hiring me straight off the bat and also to help you butcher some Xiphatians. Isn't that enough?" [/color]

The dragon more or less ignored Loki and Rita in favor of it's food. Which was almost gone, now, leaving it doing little more than gnawing on bones.

Envy wouldn't really find any seedy parts in Shaintaio. It was a city without want. Without danger.

"Well, I've been trying to find out why exactly it is a ghost town. And why the residents are oblivious to that fact." Brooke replied.

I wonder how Discworldian magic and My magic actually reacts to this universe's magic." he said.
