Rita sighed "Apparently, I had hoped your revelation would make things faster. Be careful though, it may lash out if you surprise it like that."

Thankfully not in Ardimas's line of sight, Envy quickly retreated from where he was into a nearby side alley, and making sure no one was watching, became a decrepit old woman

 

[Drakmorg]

Jessica was surprised at Tao not leaping at the opportunity to grope a woman's chest. ...This doesn't mean anything for certain. "So what, you all split up when you got here to cover more ground then?" She asked Tao. Looking back over at Brooke, she nodded and hummed with interest as she listened to what she said. "Interesting. It seems they truly operate under their own vision of reality separate from the living. Now if we could only find out what causes them to exist in such a state in the first place... She replied, then began musing aloud to herself.

The old sorcerer nodded at the soldiers and walked past them towards the building they had indicated, taking what all they had said to him as an invitation to do so. He paid little attention to Marston and Rex as they conversed with the other guards, barely even seeming to register their existence.

"Wait...we came here to talk to the ghosties, meow?" Tao asked Jess, not knowing why they had come to the place up until now.

 

[Saltyk]

"It's exactly what I have already explained twice. If you don't listen, I can't help you. Magic is simply a force of nature. It exists in many animals, and within the air. Magic is Magic." Savranth explains.

"That gun. That's not Xiphatian make." The guard replies.

Another guard motions for Rex to approach.

The Sorcerer would find a Receptionist, the Raccoon girl, at a desk. "Can I help you?"

[hr]

"Don't mock me, girl. Answer my question. If you don't give off body heat, what are you?" Richard asked.

[hr]

Ardimas stayed to watch over Ine.

 

[Chungus]

"In a sense, it has. By showing onto it the way of things, it has come to accepted us in a matter of days. Something that otherwise would take years, if at all posible. But showing them the way of things does that, and that alone. I cannot make one do something one cannot comprehend. Something as complicated as making the dragon follow our commands will take time." Loki answered Rita, that raised an eyebrow upon hearing the dragon make a sound resembling purring, but continued to do what he was doing. "It might. But as you have said in the past, a meaningful thing is ever accomplished with taking risks. It is odd, however. I had thought only felines make sound such as this when content."

"That...seems like a mighty strange way of determining who you can and can't trust. But, fine then. You got any idea of how I can prove I ain't up to any shady business." Marston asked the soldier. He started stroking his horse's muzzle as he waited for an answer.

 

[Wackymon]

Tedd sighed, "Alright then, doesn't make much sense or explain much, but I'll take what I can get." he mutters, sighing under his breath.
"So, care to test?" he said, reading both wands.

 

[DotSlash]

Rex walks up to the gate and attempts to walk through. "I was the guy with Sav, remember? Needed to get my cat out of Lakewest before I came back here." He says as he points to Blair, sleeping on his shoulder.

Yukino followed, humming to herself.

The clone giggles and pirouettes around for a few moments, humming the same tune as the real one. [color=bb66bb] "I'm nooooot mocking you. As for what I am, I can't really say until I know what you are." [/color]

Ness looks at the doctor and shakes her head sadly after searching around her pockets for nothing. As she did this, she discreetly digistructed a small notepad and pen from her PDA within her pants pocket. "...It seems I've left my glasses somewhere. I won't be able to read the monitor like that... Maybe you can tell me a few things I want to know, like the number of children born with Legaian and Xiphatian parents? I'll try and be quick."

 

[Furioso]

"...So did I. That is pretty strange, but then again I haven't seen many Dragons."

Envy as the old woman sat on a bench that (I assume) was relatively near the dock. She didn't really watch Ine and Ardimas, but more just kind of observed the area in addition to keeping an eye on them.

 

[Drakmorg]

The sorcerer raised a curious eyebrow at the ears sitting atop the head of the girl who spoke to him, but had no other reaction aside from that. I wonder how long it will take to get used to such odd sights. "Perhaps. I was told to speak to a General about providing aid to the war effort I have heard about. Are you capable of assisting me in that matter?"

"We came here to learn more about the ghosts, yes." Jessica replied to Tao, annoyance beginning to creep into her voice.

"Ooooo. Well that sounds cool, meow!" Tao said rather enthusiastically.

 

[Saltyk]

"Our enemies use technology. We use magic. That is far from strange. It's common sense. If you want to leave, get the General's permission." The guard replied.

"Top floor, sir." The receptionist replied to the Sorcerer.

[hr]

Richard narrows his eyes as he looks at the Yukino clone. He disappears before her eyes. A moment later he appears behind her. "I'm a ghost. I don't exist. Can't you tell that much?"

[hr]

The dragon made no other move.

[hr]

"Oh. Um... I'm not sure. There weren't very many. Probably a dozen or so. No more than 50 for certain. Whic is only a small percentage of the births here." The ash ghost told Vanessa.

[hr]

The docks were busy. Which makes since seeing as Shaintaio is largely a port town. People moved about and there were several soldiers and fishermen moving about.

Ine continued to work on her painting. The sudden realization that she was the Princess, brought upon by Ardimas's presence had begun to draw a crowd.
"Look... Now, I can't finish my painting..."

Grace walks up to one of the ghosts, and pulls out a jar with a lid, removes the lid, slid some of the ash from one of the ghosts into the jar, then slid the lid.
"I think I have a cell sample." she said.

[Furioso]

"Hmm, so now what? Just spend time with it till it grows more friendly with us?"

Envy continued his actions

"Magic? Heheh, whatever you say friend." Marston said as he tied up his horse and went to see the general.

The clone continues to spin around, not exactly caring what Richard had done. [color=bb66bb] "Silly boy, you're not a ghost~. I can sense your soul kicking around inside you, rather than it just floating around on its own. As for me... I'm just a fox." [/color]

Rex shrugs before walking through and heading toward the barracks again. He jumps up and places the snoozing Blair cat on the roof before hopping back down and heading toward the main building.

Ness nods and takes a few notes on what the doctor said. "I see. Was there anything noteworthy of the parents of that percentage of children? Were they in power positions or anything of that sort?"

 

[Drakmorg]

The Sorcerer simply nodded to the receptionist and walked up to the top floor. Finding the General's office, he knocked on the door a few times with the head of his walking stick.

"Yeah. So I'm guessing you don't have anything worth telling me." Jessica replied to Tao. "Let's just find the others." She said before turning around and heading back towards where she came from. Hearing Grace, she reached out her left hand towards her with and open palm and said, "Let me see that sample then."

 

[Chungus]

"That is the best idea I have regarding how to go about this, yes." Loki answered, stoppping his actions and looking up to Rita. "Perhaps we should also see if we can have a set of reins fashioned for it. It will likely be easier to guide with something to lead it by."

Echo and Holly started playing in the hospital.

"Well...they don't seem to have any food, meow." Tao said a bit sadly to Jess as she followed her.

 

[Saltyk]

"I have my sword. I'd rather use it than any wand. Besides, it would have no purpose. I can use magic as easily without any item." Savranth replied, now practicing basic strikes with his High Speed Movement magic.

Rex and Marston would both find the receptionist at the desk.

"Come in." Tiberius called from inside his office.

[hr]

"Not that I'm aware of. Most of them seemed pretty normal. I'm not aware of any people with positions of power." The doctor ghost replied.

[hr]

"How silly of me. Well, you know who I am. I think it's time you shared why you don't give off body heat, Yukino, I think your name is." Richard said to the clone.

[hr]

"Then, let us return to the castle." Ardimas says, motioning for several soldiers to accompany them.
"Seems as though, I have no choice." Ine says, as the soldiers begin to surround them and disperse the crowd.
