Jessica finished the chalk circle and stepped out of the center of it. After taking a few deep breaths and focusing, she channeled the necessary energy into the chalk to activate the circle, causing the ground within the circle to be replaced by a portal appearing as a blue pool of light. After hopping through it to test it, she reappeared standing next to it once again. She then gestured for Tao to hop into it as she had.
Jessica simply nodded to Ness and smiled in recognition of her offer to help.

The crow continued to sit on its perch in the Defense base. It watched the soldiers come and go with about as much interest as one would expect a crow to show that sort of thing.

Tao hopped into the portal.

"Where shall we go..." Echo said as she walked around. She saw Ness and some others around a portal and went to them.

@Outis: I've read over what Salty was saying countless times and... I'm stumped... whatever train of thought Salty was riding, it's way out on left field for me...

"And in that case, what would you have me do? By all accounts you seem to be of Legaian descent." Tiberius stated. "If you really are a spy then it would be very problematic now wouldn't it?" He laced his fingers, looking up to Marston to see what he would do next.

Amongst the soldiers walking some older gentlemen seemed to be walking together, discussing things. They seemed to be heading for the main building.

Unless Drak was thinking about another destination then Jessica and co would come to the Winterhorn library, but I think they went elsewhere for some strange reason.

Grace, seeing what Echo saw, and followed them, ice cream still in hand.

Ness rose up and waved at Echo and her group as she was about to hop into the portal, then stopped for a moment. "Oh... I need to take the car with me... Be right back." She runs off and eventually drives up with her car.

Rex chuckled as he starts to walk toward the edge of the roof. "Good to hear. Let's try to find something to do soon around here.."

After hopping into the portal, Tao would appear in the middle of Lakewest, giving off a bright blue flash of light as she did.

"Oh, you're bringing the car? I need to make this bigger then." Jessica erased the chalk circle, as the current portal wasn't big enough to facilitate moving the car. The portal ceased functioning as she erased the circle. As Ness drove up in her car and stopped, Jessica started drawing another circle around the car.

Noticing the older men, the crow seemed to take an interest in them. It flew down closer to where they were and perched on whatever was available nearby to perch upon.

"Well, I'm sure there's something I can do to prove I'm no spy. Something you want done?" Marston said, assuming this man wanted something from him.

Echo went into the portal.

I'm not entirely sure what he was getting at either. Maybe I could wait for him to get here. Shouldn't be too long now.

Holly followed Echo, she stayed close to her as she walked near Jessica and Tao.

"Sounds good to me! <3" Blair replied ot Rex, as she jumped down off the edge. "So, where did you have in mind Rexy?"

Grace gets into the car, and buckles up.

Ness looked at Jess drawing the circle. "Try to make sure it's a bit away from the city. If a Legaian car just plops down in their sight, things will get dicey quickly."

Rex hopped down aside of Blair and shrugs. "No idea... I guess Lakewest is a good place to start..."

Tao looked around Lakewest, becoming very nervous all of the sudden.

Nak came out of nowhere next to Rex and Blair "I heard a relationship! Also I'm guessing he wants to go your place" He said jotting down names in a note pad. And upon hearing Rex he said "Well I think there's a brothel around here but I don't think your supposed to visit there until chapter ten"

Rita was still in the dragons lair, letting them get used to her presence

Envy as a rat was still tailing the Shiantaio prison guard

"Sounds good to me, let's go then!" Blair said to Rex. "Nyeh?" she mused at Nak. "Are you calling me a hooker?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

Holly just hugged Echo a little and smiled a little.

"So it will be dispatched in two days time?" Said the first gentleman
"Yes. He won't see it coming. It took quite a lot to sneak it in under his nose." said the second.
"Oh that sly old dog doesn't know what's in store for him." chuckled the third.

The three continued along their path.

Several of the people inside Lakewest would have noticed the bright flash, turning their attention to the source.

Savranth was training. Exercising on the bench-press.

"No." Tiberius said. "But, what exactly do you want? To avoid all conflict? That's a pipe dream at this stage. No matter where you go, you are just as likely to find conflict as you are here. My own men will be moving out to begin a counterattack in Legaian territory soon. And for all we know, they will do the same in our own. Or perhaps some other force will do that. If you're trying to run, you will find the path nonexistent."

Rex looked back at Nak and raised an eyebrow. "I'm not here to chase tail, dude. ...and brothels make me wanna puke..." Hearing Blair, he nodded before walking toward the base's gate. ...Fitting title for a creeper...

Tao quickly started running away, trying to get out of Lakewest as fast as possible.

"If trouble finds me, I'll deal with it. Until that happens, I'd like to do what I can to avoid any situation that might result in me getting my head shot off." Marston said to Tiberius as he leaned forward on the mans desk.
