Link seemed quite disappointed that nothing happened when he played his instrument. He noticed the people walking towards him and gave a smile and waved towards them. There was a blue fairy flying next to his head.

Spoiler: Theme Music For The Win!

Gladius Ardoris remembered fighting one of Recolors, as his comrade, Gladius Spirits called them. The creature shouted and a black hole of sorts opened and sucked the Dire wolf in. For sometime he wondered if he had died and his spirit was making its way to the next plane. However, he awoke to find himself laying in a forest.

It took some time for his senses to clear. The air was very clean and the forest seemed barely disturbed. He began to walk for a time, taking in the sights and sounds until a myriad of scents caught his attention. Some were familiar-such as humans-and others he couldn't put words to. Hoping to find some answers, he began to run towards it on all-fours (His old pack called it 'Full-Running'). Eventually he came upon a small group of... Beings. Perhaps they were more of those Recolors, but they didn't look much like the ones he'd faught before.

He hid in a bush and watched them, waiting.

Navi was flying around as fairies were prone to do. While doing so she saw this wolf like creature hiding in the bushes and called over to Link "Hey look!" Link put his instrument up and unsheathed his sword and shield.

Raising an eyebrow at Link, Carmen blinked and then groaned a small bit as she noticed the sound of the fairy's voice. [color=bb0066] (...Ugh... And yet people wonder why we kill those things...) [/color] Noting the man unsheathing his sword, the succubus looked over in the same direction as him, noting that something was indeed in the shadows.

Amelia, a sheepgirl, hadn't noticed this and jolted a bit as the man who had been playing such a soothing sound suddenly unsheathed his sword. Thinking they didn't need to fight, she idly waved her hands in front of her as if to say "We're not hostile!"

Samus, having followed the others, aimed her arm cannon at the elf boy, switching to the scan visor to look around but keeping the weapon on him.

Mary and Fredrick looked at the small fairy, in a mix of confusion and amazed interest. [color=F87217]"Is that one of those Pixie things?"[/color]

Mary wrote a note.

It has a very high pitch voice. I could see how that could be annoying.

"Take it easy small fry." Axton said to Link as he aimed an assault rifle at him. He wasn't really considering Link a threat, but that wouldn't keep him from shooting Link.

Seras looked around as she thought she head something running up to them and suddenly stopping.

While the group was looking for the wolf-like creature, the faint sound of rustling leaves would be audible behind them.

Axton and Seras both turn around to where the rustling is coming from.

 

[Demonjazz]

Navi would investigate the rustling but Link would still be going towards the wolf monster.

Navi would see nothing as it moved around... or so it would seem. If the fairy looked closely, she'd notice that there was a suspicious looking pile of dirt on the forest floor on that path. Amelia looked back to the noise and then forward toward the commotion the group had discovered. Carmen simply kept to herself, blowing a small sigh as she looked around idly, not seeming all that concerned about the noise.

Axton and Seras remained uptight as nothing seemed to happen. Axton handed the revolver and ammo he had been given to Seras, figuring she would need it more than he would. She calmly put the ammo away and held the revolver down at her side.

Ardoris' ear twitched at the sound of rustling leaves and a new scent he couldn't place. The humans didn't notice he held a rifle in his paws-it being concealed by the bush he hid in. He kept it pointed at Link.

"Listen here, lad. There's no need to draw swords here. You come in peace and I'll come in peace. Sound good?"

 

[Demonjazz]

Navi decided that it wasn't important enough to check out. She flew back towards Link and floated
Link put his shield and sword back. He offered his hand in a symbol of peace.

Ardoris slung his rifle over his shoulder then emerged from the bush, meeting the hand with his paw. "And what is your name, lad?

Link opened his mouth to say something but Navi wanted to pipe up. "His name is Link."

"Hey, are you one of the guys we're suppose to meet?" Axton asked, lazily holding his rifle now.

 

[Demonjazz]

Link shook his head no at Axton.

Ardoris cast his glance at the human with the rifle. "I don't believe so. But if you don't mind, I'd prefer this meeting stay peaceful" He turned his attention back to Link. "And I'm Ardoris. Tell me, do any of you know where I am?"

Link shrugged at Ardoris.
"We are not in Hyrule if that helps"
