Carmen looked over as Link and Ardoris were having themselves a friendly little chat and shrugged to herself before noticing another bout of rustling leaves. After a moment or two, a predator leapt out from the underbrush, snarling fiercely as it attempted to leap on Link's back and rip into it. [color=bb0066] "Heads up!" [/color] The succubus called toward the Hyrulian as she pulled a dagger from the folds of her dress.

Axton and Seras wouldn't fire at the predator w=since it was so close to Link.

Link got thrown to the ground by the predator. While Pinned under the animal's weight he attempted to roll over onto his back so that at the very least he could try to hit whatever it was. With the strength to wrestle with creatures made of rock it was likely that he would succeed in doing so.

When the creature sprang out, Ardoris quickly drew out a tomohawk in one hand and a knife in the other. He went after the two, but kept enough distance to keep from hitting Link by accident. "See if you can hold him still!" He told Link. "The rest of you keep your distance for now!"

 

[FPSfanatic]

The predator was rolled by link, but using common strategies involving wrestling, he applied his own strength, keeping the roll going until he was on top again. He then swung down with a fist, claws out and aiming to maim.

Once again Seras and Axton didn't take any action.

By this time, Ardoris threw the tomahawk at the Predator's head. He dashed forward at full run just in case the throw missed with his knife in hand.

Seeing as Link was wrapped up rather tightly, Carmen did nothing to help him.
Amelia, on the other hand, tried to shift around to get a better angle and shakily gripped her rapier, though the confidence she normally had while wielding the blade somehow didn't come. [color=ff7777] (....Damn it!) [/color]

Link had to take the hit because he couldn't move out of the way. Though in pain he still held through. Not being able to reach his sword he decided that he should punch the predator in the face.

The predator's head was knocked forward as the tomahawk slammed into its helmet, and was set back in place by link's punch. it growled, lifted one hand up to aim its claws at Ardoris and fire them at him, and followed this up by reaching for Link's tunic with the now declawed hand. if he managed to get a grip on Link, he'd pull him forward and headbutt Link's nose.

Axton decided he'd try his luck and so he shot at the predator, trying to aim for any unarmored bits.

The attack had taken Ardoris by suprise, causing him to try to juke left, making the claws cut across his cheek. He suppressed a growl of pain and stopped. He contemplated summoning his Inferno Sabers, but with Link so close, he might end up hitting him by mistake. He instead drew his rifle to fire off a round, but hesitated when it brought Link in for a headbutt.

Link kneed the predator in the gut if the predator were to stop from that blow long enough he would try and kick him away.

 

[FPSfanatic]

The predator woofed, the kick knocking the air out of him. He continued with his actions nonetheless, swinging his head down to smack Links.

The bullet from Axton would graze the predator, and might continue on to hit Link.

Ardoris decided enough was enough and moved in. This time he kept on two legs and clenched his fist. As he approached, a ball of flame formed in each hand. They formed into a sort of sword in each hand before an ethereal sheen flashed over them. The flames, while roaring still, conformed to this new shape as if contained by some unseen force.

He struck at the Predator's shoulder, knowing the strike would knock him off of Link.

OOC: I'll let jazz decide if Link gets hit. Poor little guy...

Axton decided to more in closer with his own tomahawk. "Let the kid go you ugly pathetic animal." he said as he walked forward, hoping to provoke the creature.

Link got hit by the headbutt but the bullet from the Axton did not hurt him. Though a bit dazed from the headbutt it would take more than that to keep him down. He started to punch the predator again.
