The fridge was filled with food, much like the cabinets.

As Seras looked around, she'd find a few rooms with small blank nameplates hanging on the fronts of the doors. The rooms themselves were much like the main room, simply furnished with a bed, a desk and a closet. Most all had a window that had a great view of the beach or the jungle.

Axton continued to look at the various bits, not really picking up on the laser bits.

Seras entered a room and prepared for bed.

Samus closed the fridge, backing off. She had had quite a hearty meal on the Predator ship, and thanks to her altered body she wasn't hungry again quite yet. She backed out of the kitchen, making her way into one of the bedrooms.

Link turning the knob would cause one of the coils on the stovetop to begin to glow red hot and the heat would slowly begin to fill the room.

Samus would find all the rooms were unmarked.

Lauren glanced at the people walking around, but shrugged, settling in. She continued working, cleaning each of the small mirrors carefully.

Reginald eventually led Ness and Jess to the junk shop, which was a sight to behold for the technologically minded. Advanced tech was being taken apart in the open, with small jet turbines being tested, experimental thruster units being made, and in one curious case a ship being assembled from parts. those familiar with propulsion would recognize the vessel as a VTOL style craft, and those familiar with military principles might realize they were looking at a dropship of some sort. It appeared as such:

Reginald smiled, and held out a small collection of pounds. "Now, I know you might not be interested in simply receiving, but I believe you two are quite fond of technology, correct? This junk shop has some interesting things in it, so I would hope you'd be interested in poking around. And its hardly fun to look around without the opportunity to buy something, is it? go ahead, look around, see if you can buy it for this amount."

he held roughly 100 pounds.

Seeing all the rooms were unmarked, Samus picked one at random and went inside. She sat down on the bed, taking off her armour and neatly piling it in the corner, then laid her Paralyser on the desk and laid down on the bed, staring at the ceiling.

Link noticed the heat and decided that it worked like a fire without the fire part. He went through the cabinets before finding pancake batter and deciding to make himself some.

Ness' eyes widened as she noticed the large ship and her lips slowly curled into a smile. [color=666666] That looks... awesome~! [/color] As Reginald offered her the money, she smiled and nodded toward him. [color=666666] "Thanks. We'll try to." Or... I will, at least... [/color] She began to walk toward the shop, a hop in her step and a twinkle in her eyes, like she was a child who had just walked into the world's greatest candy shop.

Link would find that the batter did batter-like things and became purple pancakes after a bit of time.

... These cake things were purple... Link was having second thoughts on how good these pancakes were... Maybe they were poisoned... But who would be stupid enough to make something poisoned look poisoned and why would it be in the food cabinet of a vacation home... Maybe they already thought of people thinking of this and the cakes are poisoned and they're trying to get rid of everybody... Oh shit the pancakes started to burn! Link quickly scooped up the food and put it in a plate. He then sat and poked at them for a good couple minutes

After a long while of staring at the ceiling and thinking over recent events, Samus eventually fell asleep

Axton and Seras also go to bed.

The food simply sat there, being food. As it was poked, it did nothing.

And then time passed...

The sun slowly ended up peeking into each room as it rose.

Link got up and sleepily walked and picked the most normal looking food in the kitchen and eating it. The pancake from yesterday was actually still sitting there. It just looked too suspicious.

Luaren had worked through the night, and had now reassembled her weapon. satisfied, she put it into its holster, and left the house.

Navi stopped and asked Lauren something. "Where you going with that weapon?"
Link seemed to be content just to eat his food.

As Lauren stepped outside, she'd be greeted by the pristine beach once again. It was sunny and the water was clear, shimmering and numerous alien sealife swimming about in its depths, some visible where she was. No one had arrived there just yet.

Jessica strolled up to the junk shop, there being an obvious disparity between how excited she was compared to Ness. Seeing Ness fail to accept the money from Reginald, Jess took it upon herself to do so, nodding to the paladin and pocketing the wad of bills before following Ness into the store.

As the duo walked in, they'd notice a blobby looking alien with about four eyestalks sitting at a booth. It was a bit greasy and amazingly enough, was wearing overalls. As Ness skipped along, she was stopped by one of his writhing tentacles and caused her to snap out of her blissful state.

It began to gargle and sputter as the stalks stared both girls down before it realized something and coughed twice before speaking. "Awright... So ya buy anything, ya checkout here. I see ya tryna steal anythin', ya get a bullet to tha ches'. We clear?!" It spoke in accented English as the stalks all stared the girls down. Ness nodded a small bit before stepping inside and beginning to look at the various scraps and materials around the area, eyes eventually falling onto a glowing core . She looked back to notice Jess not being nearly as excited and tilted her head a bit. [color=666666] "Are you alright, Jess?" [/color]

Jess just gave the alien a confused expression until she noted Ness nodding to it, then doing so in kind as well. She followed Ness about, glancing at everything around with mild curiosity. When she noticed Ness speaking to her, she held up her left pointer finger as a gesture to say "Hang on a sec". Jess placed her hands on her ears and shut her eyes once again for a moment once again. "Sorry, can you run that by me again?" She replied to Ness, her ears adjusting themselves and pointing directly towards Ness.

In the morning Axton woke up and started getting some food for himself.

Seras was already starting to feel a little weak since it had been about two days since he last meal. She managed to find some tomato juice to make herself slightly less miserable.
