"Of course I'm alright with it. Just remind me and I'll give you some private lessons." Jess answered Ness much more cheerfully.
Her ears and tail twitched with excitement as she looked around at everything in the store. She chose an aisle at random to go down and see what there was.

"Great! I'll be looking forward to it!" Ness stated, smiling a good amount. Alright! I'll be able to pick up a lot more now!

....Huh?

After a while, Ness' cheeks lightly flushed pink as she followed after Jess.

The aisle Jess had chosen would be mainly composed of manipulation-type gadgets, allowing someone to move things around, cause them to disappear or even force things to switch positions with one another for example. The gadgets came in numerous forms: gloves, cartoonish remotes, glasses and other such things. Each gadget had a small plaque in front of it detailing directions about how to use it.

Axton would eventually find a small notepad in the kitchens along with a pencil laying by it.

Jess walked up and down the aisle, examining the objects and plaques describing what they did, seeming slightly disappointed by what she had turned up. I can already do most of this stuff on my own... She turned back to Ness and asked her, "You see anything good here, or should we move on?"

The boy blinked twice before taking the pencil and slowly moving the pencil on the paper. Once he finished, the boy held up the paper and Axton would see a set of square-like symbols on it.

As Jess spoke, Ness was already using a glove to lift things casually. As she looked toward, she shook her head. "Not really... We've got stuff like this at home. Still, it's fun to use it anyway." She slowly lower the objects she had picked up and placed the glove back on the shelf. "Maybe we can check over there...?" Ness replied, pointing toward another aisle. This one would feature more elemental gadgets. Dummies were set up and some gadgets spewed flames, ice or imbued something with them. One customer had a glove on and it was on fire with the customer not seeming to feel any discomfort as he punched one of the dummies straight in the gut. A few safety personnel sat around to make sure people weren't trying to set the place ablaze or worse.

Jess shuddered a bit as she noticed the brutality being leveled at the training dummies. "I'm not really interested in the... violent applications of magic. Maybe there's something else over here though." She answered Ness, moving off in the opposite direction of where Ness had pointed out.

The boy paused for a moment before pointing to the string of symbols and then waved toward the man, as if he was meeting him for the first time.

Ness blinked as Jess walked away and she followed after casually. The next aisle Jess ended up in would be called would be called the 'illusion and disguise' aisle, though illusions weren't the only thing these devices did. Most of the devices here took the form of some sort of clothing or accessory. Some were cloaks that made people invisible, others completely changed one's outer appearance. There was another device that allowed one to make projections of themselves. Some necklaces and other accessories in a long jewelry case would say that they could allow the wearer to understand and speak multiple other languages. A few more personnel stood around for obvious reasons.

A moment later, Ness had taken a cloak and wrapped it around herself, her hat now the only thing visible.

"...Right." Axton said as he took the pad and pencil back. He wrote out some random words and showed them to the boy. "Do you understand these?"

As the boy looked the words over, he tilted his head and then shook his head with a small frown on his face.

The boy idly scratched the back of his head, beginning to get a feeling that he wasn't wanted. He slowly shuffled his way out of the hut, giving Axton a wave goodbye as he moved to step outside.

Axton shrugged at the boy moved toward the door.

Seras was able to see the boy waving now, at least partially. "Are you going back into that volcano?" she asked, propping herself up a bit as she did in an effort to try and get a clearer look at the boy.

The boy looked back and shook his head lightly. In the light now, it would be notable that the boy's cloak was a bit dirty. He scratched his head for a moment before turning back to walk out.

"W-wait a minute! Where are you going then? You shouldn't be wandering around by yourself." Seras said, slowly and carefully sitting up.

As Seras got up, the boy looked around before walking over toward Seras' bed and pointing to the ground outside the cabin using a window, trying to denote that he wasn't going to go far if at all.

Seras scratched her head as she really didn't get what the kid was getting at, partly due to her vision still being fuzzy. "Well, if you really want to leave, try not to go too far away, okay?" she proposed to the boy.

The boy blinked for a moment or two before nodding slowly and heading outside the doorway and began to walk around the house, seeming to contemplate things.
