"Glad to hear everything turned out alright." Axton said as he sat near Samus. He shoved his can under her nose. "Want one?"

"Okay then." Axton said as he got up and got a beer for Samus. "You know what alcohol is, right? Like, drinking alcohol?" he asked, making sure he wasn't offering her something she wasn't familliar with.
"Just checkin' to make sure you know what you're getting into." Axton said as he handed the drink over. After doing so, he sat down again and reached out for a piece of Samus' armor. Grabbing it, he would twist his hand around to look at it from all angles.
Samus opened the can and took a swig. The piece Axton picked up was the left gauntlet. It was heavy, and had a green gem on the back of the hand.

Axton took a swig from his beer and put the gauntlet down on the table in front of him. He then started poking at the gem.
"Eh, do whatever you think works for you. The closest I've ever come to meditating is sleeping off a hangover."
Samus rolled her eyes, then sat and closed them, breathing slowly. "You need to learn how to stay focused and calm in a fight."
"Trust me, I wouldn't be here right now if I wasn't a badass soldier." Axton said with bravado as he crushed his empty can and went for another.
