The orks seemed delighted at the hissing, and the larger shouted "Dis onez got some of da fight in 'im! Less crump 'im, and hang his 'ead off a nice rack!"
The other ork, proving rather inarticulate, simply screamed "WAAGH!" in response.

There would be a thump from behind the creature, and the sound of a lightning strike. "I don't think that would be terribly wise, brethren." an old, grizzled voice called out from behind the snake-like creature. "This creature seems to not wish to pick a fight." he said, sounding amused.

the elevator would continue rattling down.

Amelia looked toward Seras and sighed. "I'm sorry, but there isn't a-anything either I or Franky can do. All we can do is hope that she managed to survive and will stay alive long enough for Ryan to find her..." She said, giving Seras a small frown.

"Exactly..." Franky agreed with Amelia finally. "And if there was someone that I would think of these people that could, Vanessa seemed like she could." He said before a long pause. "We'll hear from her again."

the elevator would eventually slow, and reach the dorms. It would open, and let the group out, to see most of the investigators they had last seen leaving for the armory waiting for them, worried. Don strode forward, looking happy. "Good to see you all made it back in one piece. How did visiting the hell hole of the multiverse go?"

[small] "...Do you have no faith in her...?" [/small] Amelia said, mainly to herself as the elevator opened. Looking to Don, she blinked. "...I... I'd rather not have to do that... ever again." She said with a small sigh as she walked forward, still trembling a small bit.

She'd eventually flop onto her bed facefirst, but would still be open-eyed as she did.

"Not all... And I don't want to talk about it..." Franky said as the ball rolled out of the elevator basically as the elevator doors opened.

Don watched the group struggle in, and shrugged. he settled in his own bed, and thought on how he would have handled going to rapture.

The creature quickly turned around upon hearing the loud noise and stopped in place. "Y-Yeah, ah ain't lookin' fer a scrap right now." It warily agreed with the voice it heard, dividing its attention between the three figures around it evenly. "Not cuz ah'm scared or anything, cuz ah ain't! Ah just ain't keen since ah just woke up." The creature seemed to punctuate its point with a yawn.

When the group returned to the dorms, Gideon looked towards them, noting the tired expressions where they were vissible. Well, they're still breathing t'least. Got to wonder what they were doing up there, though. As he looked the group members over, he soon noted there were two less then there were before, although said nothing on this, not feeling the need to ask.

The older Ork nodded. "I would ask you to forgive my foolish ork brothers then. While I might not have met them before, they obviously feel your sleep is worth less then a good fight."
One ork called out "Yu're damn right weirdboy! We wants a good krumpin'. You offerin' it?" the ork asked excited at the prospect.
The older ork glanced at the creature. "If you do not mind, I would wish to fight this battle. Would that be acceptable? We could give you some proper sleep if the fight goes my way."

If the creature checked out the darkened outlines of the three orks, it would see that the two orks baying for its blood were larger, and better armored then the old ork defending it.

"Orks? Y'alls are orks? Ooh-wee, I've only ever heard'a orks before! ...Whuzzat they say about orks though?... Agh, I'll remember it later." The creature initially replied to the older sounding ork, getting caught up in its own thoughts for a moment. "Hmm? Oh, uhm, sure, go right on ahead. Might be nice to see things from the other side fer once." It eventually added, answering the older Ork's question. The creature warily moved out from between the pairs of Orks, it's lower body undulating side to side along the ground like a snake's slithering.

The older Ork nodded and stepped forward. He pulled a warhammer from his belt, and readied it. "Come forth, brothers of the horde, and face your new warchief. See if he is deserving of claiming the name-" The old ork said, obviously starting a speech.
He was interrupted by the roars of battle from the two orks, who charged him, only to be met by the old ork's hammer. Battle was met, and the three engaged.

From behind the creature, the sound of feet scuffing the ground might be heard.

The creature had coiled it's lower body up as it sat outside what it thought would be the proper distance from the scuffle between the orks. The creature yawned again as most of its attention seemed focused on watching the fight. Wait... there's no orks around home... I'da seen 'em before if there were... And where's everyone else?... Though the creature itself was distracted, a few of the writhing masses atop its head seemed to focus on what was going on behind it.

The orks fought, and both sides demonstrated prodiguous strength and skill with their axes and hammers. It would be obvious that, while the older ork had more skill with his hammer, the two orks he thought had the cunning to use their numbers, keeping the old ork on the defensive.
The gorgon might hear more pitter patter, and a new noise was added on. A strange mix of cat and chainsaw, there was a whimpered "mrrrrglglglglgl."

The creature seemed to have reached some form of decision and was about to speak up, but then heard the new odd noises going on around. "Hunh? Whuz all that now?" It muttered. Should I maybe...?...Nah, let's be safe... The creature didn't seem to take its attention off of the fight, though the masses atop its head all looked to be following after the new set of noises.

The set of noises, when examined, would receal a collection of rather curious creatures. They looked as if a fish, a frog, a midget, and a can of ugly had all gotten together at some point to have a child. They had a collection of spears and bits of sharp shells. One, obviously braver then the rest, had inched forward and was about to poke the gorgon.
While the three orks continued their battle, the younger two, while still fighting hard, had obviously lost their initial fury and furor. The older ork began shifting on the offensive, landing a rain of hammer blows on one ork, and then the other.

The group would find that the night passed without event after that crazy event, and morning came easily. The elevator slowly arrived, and opened, revealing the woman who had assigned the group to go to rapture waiting there with a large picnic basket.

As soon as one of the small, ugly amphibians moved anywhere close to pokin' range of the Creature, it would have been greeted by an aggressive hissing noise. "Hmm?" The creature lazily leaned back, tilting its head to vaguely face what was approaching it. "Whuz goin' on? That you, Dean? Or maybe Hammond?... Prolly not John." It asked curiously.
