Amelia raised an eyebrow as the figure held out a hand. Once the visor went transparent to reveal Samus in the suit, the sheepgirl blinked a few more times, before rubbing her eyes. After looking to the visor once more and realizing the face was familiar, she put a hand to her chest and let out a relieved sigh. [color=ff7777] "...You almost gave me a scare there..." [/color] She said before looking at the suit. [color=ff7777] "...Uh... How did you... get that suit? You seem really comfortable in it." [/color] She said, noting the smile on the woman's face and not remembering her ever smiling since the sheepgirl had first laid eyes on her. [color=ff7777] ...It looks really fancy... and a little bulky... [/color]


Amelia's trembling subsided for the most part, returning to more normal levels.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"There was a Chozo statue in the forest." Samus explained. Her helmet filtered her voice slightly, making it sound like it was coming from a radio. "My Varia Suit vanished when I arrived here. The statue gave me a new one."

 

[Chungus]

"Right... Can't imagine that being much fun. I don't envy you." Gideon responded with a slight chuckle, then momentarily thought about having possible doom loom overhead. After thinking about this for a moment or two, he blew a small sigh. He was about to comment further on the topic of space travel, but instead kept his silence for a while longer upon hearing Franky's last comment. "Eh?"

[color=ff7777] ...Oh... So that's why she was in that bodysuit? Because she didn't have her armor...? [/color] Amelia thought but decided to refrain from asking. [color=ff7777] "Um...." [/color] She began, tilting her head a bit. [color=ff7777] "What's a 'Chozo'....? Do they make the kinds of suits that you wear?" [/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"They did." Samus said, her smile dropping. "I can probably lead you to the statue if you want."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Well I don't watch to much public broadcasting, [small]but when people say they don't like being in one place for a long time, sounds like they are running from something.[/small] Not exactly the same as 'I like to travel'." He murmured, his tail flicking back and forth.

Amelia blinked a bit as she noticed Samus' smile drop and she scratched behind one of her horns. [color=ff7777] "No... That's alright... I was just a bit curious... S-Sorry if I said something bad..." [/color] She said, not wanting to drop the woman's mood further in her eyes.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Sarah idly glanced up before shrugging. "How badly do you want that car intact?" she asked.
The elevator the group had exited opened again, disgorging Jameson and the man with telekinetic powers. They jogged towards Sarah.

 

[Chungus]

"Ah. I see how someone'd read into that the wrong way." Gideon responded with a nod, rubbing the back of his neck slightly after leaning back, having needed to lean forwards to pick up on what Franky was saying when he spoke with a hushed tone. "Well, I'm not on the run or anything like that. I just don't like staying in the same place for long. Variation's the spice of life, you know?" He continued with something of a wry smile. Franky might notice Gideon wasn't being fully sinsere, judging by his somewhat startled facial expression.

 

[Kirke]

The man glanced back at the woman and then up at the car.
"It'll be alright. Old gal has taken worse than falling out of a tree. I'll get her down in a bit, no worries."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"It's alright." Samus said, her voice void of emotion and her visor returning to it's solid, polished-jade sheen.

 

[Zepherus14]

"It's alright." Franky sighed as he leaned back in the hatch himself. "I race for a living, and you are talking about a spice of life?" He laughed out loud. "But I can see what you mean." He said as he eyed Gideon, noticing he wasn't the most sincere with his response.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Sarah nodded. "Fair enough. Do you have a paper with the number 8001 marked on it?" she asked, not sounding very curious.

[color=ff7777] "Um.... S-So..." [/color] Amelia said, trying to get off the subject of Chozos as quickly as possible. [color=ff7777] "So... What does your suit... do?" [/color]

 

[Chungus]

"Yeah, I don't doubt that offer a good amount of excitement. 'specially if it doesn't necessarily being held on land." Gideon said as he changed his sitting position, sitting cross-legged, with his hands rested on his knees. "Kinda having a hard time picturing what races like that must be like, though. Are all vehicles a ball like yours, or is it more of a mix and match?" He asked, but soon after raised an eyebrow upon seeing Franky giving him a look. "...What're you looking at me like that for?" Are my marks showing more...?

[Kirke]

"Huh? Uh, I don't think so..." He checked in various pockets before finding the note. "No wait, this might be it." The paper was crumpled up, but the number 8001 was still visible. He handed it to Sarah, then hesitated. "Mate, why did I have a paper with the number 8001 on it?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"This version of the suit is missing most of it's functions." Samus said, still sounding cold but not completely emotionless. "It's currently equipped with life support functions, a Power Beam, scanning technology, a low-level jetpack, and heat shielding."

 

[Zepherus14]

"It's not always on land, but primarily it is. And no there are all sorts of vehicles, all just depends on the vehicle you want to drive." He shrugged lazily. When asked about the look, Franky smirked, then raised an arm to point at his ears. "English might not be my first language, but these ears aren't just for show and getting the ladies. You aren't telling me the full story on your travelling preference. That being said, I don't really care, don't need to get yelled at because I was being 'insensitive'..." He explained, doing an air quote when 'insensitive' was mentioned.

Amelia looked a bit impressed at the list Samus gave her. [color=ff7777] "All of that seems really useful... No wonder you seemed so happy to get it back." [/color] She said, smiling a small bit.

"Yes." Samus said, some happiness in her voice. "As for the technology that isn't included in this suit, I'm sure I can find it."
