[color=009933] "I already told you that I was a florist...." [/color] Rose said, not bothering to look toward Axton as she continued lying on the bed. She gave a simple nod in agreement to what he said before.

Rose shook her head resolutely. [color=009933] "Not at all. This organization hasn't even come close to discovering everything in this multiverse yet... so there's tons of worlds out there to discover." [/color] She blinked a bit before thinking of what to say next to explain electricity. [color=009933] "Uh.... You know about lightning... right? Imagine that, but smaller and less dangerous. All the energy that's in that bolt can be used to make things move and work..." [/color] She began to fish through her bag for something to use as an example. [color=009933] "You have to take the good with the bad... plus, bounty hunters tend to be less crazy than criminals are.... usually." [/color]

"Oh, sorry. What does a florist do?" Axton asked, regretting his screw up.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Ms. Darren walked out of the castle, continuing to explain how to care for the plants in the garden. As she walked, a few people would take a second glance at the strange creature, and because of this a few would look Amelia over more critically.

 

[Zepherus14]

"At least it means I can program it into this beauty right here." Franky raised his right arm for a moment. "It's still will take a bit just because the connectivity is so bad... But when I am done I guess I can go back over to the WAOA building and give it back to them." Franky said as he continued working on the phone.

Rose looked up toward Axton, blinking blankly, a hint of shock on her face. [color=009933] "....You've never heard of a florist before...? They never had one on the planets you were on?" [/color] Disbelief slowly seeped into her voice.

Amelia continued to take notes on what Ms. Darren explained, asking questions for clarification everyone once in a while. She slowly became engrossed in the lesson, since her current livelihood depended on it, and didn't really notice the extra pairs of eyes staring at her.

"I can't say I've ever heard of a florist, no." Axton said.

 

[Chungus]

"I'll tag along for a while longer if you do, then." Gideon said casually. When Ms. Darren left her dorm, Gideon looked towards the door upon hearing the sound of her hooves, but being at the end of the hallway, didn't see her and Amelia leave. with nothing to see, he looked back to Franky and continued. "Maybe someone there will know if anything in the neighbourhood's hiring, or t'least where I can find a job center."

 

[Zepherus14]

"I'd assume that it would have to be something like that somewhere around here." Franky looked up from the phone as he replied. "Do you have a preference for a job? Or are ya just interested in the money?" Franky asked as he started punching in various things, a few holoscreens appearing in front of him as he did, a symbol or two Gideon might recognize from the phone's display he had with him.

Rose seemed a little beside herself as she heard than but quickly straightened herself up. [color=009933] "Well, it's just someone who grows and arranges flowers for people to buy. It's usually a romantic thing for someone to give another a nice bouquet of roses or something to that end." [/color] She said, smiling a small bit.

"Huh. Yeah, Pandora, and most other planets, aren't refined enough for there to be a demand for that." Axton said.

 

[FPSfanatic]

The dryad seemed annoyed at the people looking at her, but kept it from her speaking to Amelia. She spoke, after an initial period of icyness, with warmth and respect for one learning to care for the groves.

 

[Chungus]

"Like I said to our... landlord, I guess, I'd prefer a job where I can work with my hands. Think carpenters,and stuff like that. I don't really care about the money, as long's I make enough to pay for the occasional odds and ends. After all, the money'll be useless once I go back home." Gideon explained, leaning forward and looking to the holographic screens. "All'n all, I just want to keep busy."

As Ms. Darren warmed up, Amelia also managed to get more comfortable. Her stuttering began to wane and she gained a bit more volume to her voice, sounding more energetic with each word. She kept her focus on her notes as she continued to walk along with the dryad.

[color=009933] "Ah.... I see." [/color] Rose said, calming down a bit afterward. [color=009933] "So then... this... Pandora is just at war then?" [/color]

 

[Zepherus14]

"True enough, unless you buy something here before you leave that has value in your home world. Maybe something like gold or something? People like that stuff I hear." Franky said as he continued working. The screens would sporadically open and close, like Franky was testing it. "I will definitely be trying to keep myself busy as well, well... relatively speaking of course."

 

[Outisakanobody]

"Well, it's more just...wild. Everyone killing everyone all the time. Wars aren't usually THAT chaotic. Usually." Axton said with a small grim smile.

 

[Chungus]

"Yeah, they do. The vallue of it changes every now'n again, but it's always been worth a nice sum of money. I'll see to checking how much gold costs here at some point." Gideon said as he looked at the screens for a while longer, before looking back to the screen of his own phone. Having had no luck in finding what he was looking for, he closed the map, and slipped the phone back in his pocket, before standing up and looking out of the window. "What do you see yourself doing over these four months? Besides racing, that is."

 

[Zepherus14]

"Other than racing?" Franky asked as he scratched his right ear. "Not entirely sure, I will definitely be travellin' but I will have to think over what else I have planned."

 

[Chungus]

"Traveling, huh? I'll be doing some'f that myself. Might learn something that'll come in handy back home. I'll've seen some interesting sights, if nothing else." Gideon responded, before turning back around and looking down to Franky. "How's it going down there?"

 

[FPSfanatic]

This cute little interlude would be stopped by a child yelling "Look, its a horse and a sheep! I wonder if they can do tricks?!"
This seemed to shatter Darren's calm, as she turned and glared at the child, hand drifting to a pouch on her harness.

Rose blinked once more as she noted Axton's little grin. She frowned a bit upon seeing it but did nothing more about it. [color=009933] "You're beginning to sound like you enjoy that sort of thing." [/color]

Amelia blinked a bit as she noticed Darren suddenly glaring at something. Now back down to earth and catching the last bit of what the child had said, the sheepgirl looked back up to Darren and shook her head a bit. [color=ff7777] "...A little jab like that isn't worth getting revenge, Ms. Darren. Let's just get to your job." [/color] She said calmly, hoping she wouldn't need to try to hold the strong woman back.
