Looking up would only reveal the unlit ceiling, from which several pipes and lights hung. dust drifted down from around where the clanking and laughing could be heard.

The group wandering in the market might hear the door they entered through open behind them, but checking would reveal no one going through it, and it shutting soon after opening. those with keen hearing might hear some clanking before the door opened.

Alakazam went up to the two elixir bottles and asked this time actually using speech to say "What zamakes these objects so alaka-valuable" It said not caring about stealth in the slightest at this point... He also seemed to have a slight speech impediment due to the fact that he wasn't well versed in English... Mainly cause he refused to learn a "Stupid Language" As he put it

Franky eyed the doorway, having heard the clanking sounds due to him monitoring the sounds around him already, rather confused to see nothing actually coming through the door. He switched to UV and IR views just to see if there was anything else, having access to both since some races in the racing community had started dabbling with cloaking methods given the terrain.

Franky was rather stunned when Alakazam seemed to forget that this entire complex could easily jump on him, and that these ten were just a taste of what could be ahead of them.

Amelia had noticed the clanking and her view snapped around to the back. Seeing nothing, she frowned to herself. [color=ff7777] ...Those doors reacted to people getting close to it, didn't it? ....Did someone follow us? ....Wait... That man! [/color] She kept her grip on her rapier tight as she readied herself for an ambush of some sort. She had half given up on Alakazam staying alive when he actively ignored using stealth at all.

Ness had managed to notice the door opening as well. While she hadn't heard the clanking, she did activate her scan once again, lighting the area up. So long as it could be considered living, her vision would highlight them in a neon blue. Despite this, she kept moving toward the right door, aiming to go through the doorway.

Blondie and Seras started looking for any hint of a a market where they had gone.

OOC: So everyone forgot that the directions were take a left at the market and go to the loading docks?

The splicers turned to stare at Alakazam, and one raised a hand. "So, you're going to die." he said, and a lightning bolt lanced out to hit the Alakazam, followed by the rest of the slicer group pulling a motley collection of guns and firing at the Alakazam.

Ness would see a strange, vaguely human form crawling through the tunnel the group had left, weighed down by a pack of nonliving stuff. Franky would see nothing, as the form had already left the room.

those in the room with the big daddy would hear a whining noise, followed by a small hook banging against the big daddy's armor. this provoked a roar of almost unbelievable volume, only amplified by the enclosed space. It turned, its helmet now releasing blood red light instead of the usual placid green, and looked between the three standing there, mocking it. It grabbed the little sister and tossed her up, her landing on his neck, as she cried out in fear. It roared again, and bull rushed towards the closest group member.

Blondie and Seras scattered and looked for cover, both hoping the thing wasn't going after them.

Seeing Alakazam manage to take the lightning, and still be able to bring up a shield even after the lightning should have fried him shocked Franky. The hell was this thing?

Franky would regardless set a program to keep tabs on the door, something had made the door open, and he wanted to know what it was if it did come in. Before the splicer's thought to look around for anyone else Franky slipped into the doorway that Amelia went into.

He felt guilty leaving Vanessa, but with the layout of the room they were in, for him to follow Vanessa, he would have had to get directly into the line of sight of all the splicers, and he knew that no one wanted to draw more attention for them.

OoC: Some think that this needs to be moved down by two posts, I beg to differ

Alakazam got struck by the lightning but just barely brought a psychic shield up in time before he got shot to pieces. He then went and hid behind cover for now

Ness blinked a few times as she noticed the form moving away before jolting at the sound of gunfire. She quickly made her way into the right doorway. The sheepgirl grunted before making a beeline to the left doorway. Both didn't bother to look back as they hoped they wouldn't be seen by the splicers.

Ness' scan stayed active as she moved.

Samus leaped over the Big Daddy, landing a kick on his back to send him stumbling forward. She then aimed the harpoon gun and fired it into the ceiling, and let it fall on to its strap. "I suggest we retreat, now!" she called out, reloading her gun.
The Big Daddy, having charged Samus, continued his charge, aiming for Seras, drill growling as it was started.

The group of splicers started calling out taunts to Alakazam.
"Come on, did a tin daddy crawl out of his shell? We'll shove you back in!"
"Lets see how firm that stupid moustache is!"
"Did that shock hurt? I'm so sorry! let me pat it and make it better!"

They began firing stray shots at the cover Alakazam was behind, while one held his hand out. He disappeared in a puff of red smoke. the female splicer that had electrocuted Alakazam prepared another shock.

Blondie started moving toward the exit, but fired a couple of times with his revolver at the big daddy to try and distract it.

Seras relied on her super human speed to get out of the big daddy's way and head for the exit as well/.

 

[Demonjazz]

Alakazam forged a ball of shadow energy in his hands before he got up from his cover and shot at the splicer that had shocked him. If it hit the person it would surely pack quite a punch.

Amelia ducked into the room in the left, huffing and puffing a small bit from the effort. As soon as she made it inside, she'd wait for Franky to buzz on through before shutting the door somewhat silently. Ness made it to the room in the right and sighed as she did.

Suddenly, something went off in her head.
[color=ff4599] Looks like our jumper's back online... Maybe cooldown went a lot faster than we thought it would... [/color]

[color=ff4599] You can do what you did before, help 'em out from the sidelines. I'm sure talking directly to the higher ups will get their request to get the eff back to their old universe moved up. [/color]

Without much other word, the fedora girl disappeared in a flash of white light.

The female splicer was caught by the shadow ball, and knocked to the ground. She groaned, and reached for the mountain of food. The alakazam would have to contend with all the shots already aimed at him, considering he poked his head up while shots were being fired at his cover, along with the splicer that had disappeared appearing behind Alakazam and launching a fireball at his feet. if it landed, it would detonate, destroying alakazam's cover.

the Big Daddy roared as Seras dodged him, charging towards the door to try and head the group off. Samus aimed and fired at the back of the Big Daddy, harpoon embedding itself into the armor.

 

[Demonjazz]

Alakazam got grazed by a couple bullets at first but he quickly brought up yet another forcefield. Than right before the fireball hit the floor he created a forcefield around that encapsulating the explosion though he did feel a bit drained after constructing the high powered field in such a short time. The person that was behind Alakazam would now feel a searing pain in their torso as if there were several blades cutting through it even though there was no damage what so ever done to her body

Blondie and Seras decided to unload on the Big Daddy as he got in front of the door. Blondie's revolver would deal electrical damage as well as normal damage. Seras would be using her Tommy gun.

 

[FPSfanatic]

The big daddy, if anything, seemed angered at the shooting. He suddenly leaped forward, moving far faster then something his size should, and aimed to slam Blondie into the door. His drill would be swinging for Blondie as well, roaring and spitting diesel fumes.

Seras would hear a whistling noise, followed by a sharpened fish hook with a strange hand hold coming directly for her head. Samus might see the shot had come from the ceiling.

OOC: Big Daddy's suck when you don't apply video game logic to your own character...

Blondie wasn't spry enough to get out of the way of the Big Daddy and the only reason he wasn't impaled by the drill was because of his bullet proof sarape. Regardless we was stunned and unable to do much of anything.

Seras barely managed to duck and avoid the hook. She tried to find some cover before continuing to fire at the Big Daddy.

Samus saw the hook fly from the ceiling. She swapped out the harpoon gun for the machine gun, and sprayed automatic fire at the spot.
