The big daddy swung out with his fist, aiming to grab Blondie. If he succeeded in grabbing him, he'd lob Blondie at Seras.
The bullets pinging off of the big daddy began to seem to have an affect, slowing him slightly and causing his roars to become more jagged and pained.
Samus's spray would hit metal, along with the sound of bullets entering flesh. there was a scream, followed by a strange body dropping to the floor.

Seras dropped her gun to catch Blondie and put him safely behind cover so he could recover.

Samus put one more bullet in the body's head to make sure it stayed down, then switched back to the harpoon gun and shot at the Big Daddy.

The big daddy charged to the cover Seras had taken, intending to smash it to bits with his bulk. The Big Daddy began looking like a porcupine from behind, and his back had begun leaking a number of fluids, all darkly colored.

Seras rushed to meet the Big Daddy. Her strength would at least match the thing. She paid special attention to his drill arm, keeping it away from herself.

Blondie tried to recover and draw the gun he kept in his shoulder holster.

Samus fired the harpoon gun again, aiming for the various tanks and canisters on the Big Daddy's back.

The Big daddy's air tank was breached, and the little sister riding his shoulders screamed in fear at the hissing gas, some of it rising to scald her.

This set the big daddy into an even greater rage. He bull rushed Seras, aiming to go past her.

Seras would keep her plan the same, though she moved away from Blondie's position slightly.

Blondie brought his high caliber second side arm to bear and fired at the Big Daddy several times as he charged.

Samus swapped to the machine gun and opened fire on the Big Daddy, in short bursts so she didn't accidently hit an ally.

The combined fire finally did in the big daddy. Its legs collapsed, and it reached up with its non drill hand, clutching the little sister closely even as he died. His body flopped to the floor, the metal clanging. The little sister cried out in shock, and pushed the big daddy's hand off her, and started moving to look at his face.

Samus stopped firing, holstering her weapon as she saw the Daddy go down. She watched the Little Sister's reaction with a face like stone.

Seras and Blondie both looked at the Big Daddy, waiting for it to make any more movements. Seeing it to be dead, they started moving away.

Seras picked up her machine gun and started reloading it.

Blondie, meanwhile, went about reloading his revolver and pistol.

The little girl climbed down, looking up into the faceplate of the monster the group had spent so much killing. "Daddy? Wake up daddy!" she sing songed, only to become worried when he didn't move. "Mr. bubbles, get up! I need you to walk me home!" she said, sounding like an annoyed child. She watched for a moment, until the death of the big daddy dawned on her. "Mister... Daddy? Daddy, wake up! Wake up daddy!" she cried, gently shaking the grille of the bouncer's face. "Wake up! Please, please wake up! I need you daddy, don't go!"

OoC: ...welp, now I feel like an asshole.

Samus watched the Little Sister mourn, and though her face was mostly stoic, there was understanding in her eyes. She slowly walked towards the girl.

OOC: @Gear: Not like we had any choice. Also too bad we can't cure the Little Sister...

Seras and Blondie also looked sympathetically at the little sister, but it was actually Blondie that chose to approach her.

 

[FPSfanatic]

The little sister looked up and saw Samus approaching. She gasped, and stood, brandishing her needle. "Stay away from Daddy! You hurt him! Stay away!"

Samus stopped, not saying anything.

Blondie wasn't really intimidated by the girl, but he stopped none the less.

Seras also observed the scene.

The sister's eyes darted from Samus to Blondie and back, and her hands shook, causing the needle to wobble. She did not release the needle however.

Amelia and Franky, upon entering the room, would find a long corridor, with long elegant banners descending from the ceiling. Each one was labeled 'No gods, no Kings, Only Rapture' only for Rapture to have been scratched out, and Steve to have been added. At the end of this corridor was another door, above which hung the words 'is a man not entitled to the sweat of his brow?'

Samus knelt down to the Little Sister's level, not saying anything, but making sure she wasn't being overtly threatening either.
