Timea gave a small smile to the priestess, and continued walking until she was a few paces away from her and Father Ysha. "I want to learn about your pantheon of gods. I thought to ask at the temple in Calibeth City, but no one was there when I looked", she explained.

Yeager shrugged "Eh I suppose you could show me around the place."

Homer waved to Robin. "I don't suppose you know anything about artificial limbs?" he asked.

As Topaz landed near the group, Heno was startled, and likely would have fallen over if he didn't have his walking stick out at the moment. "Haven't you heard of walking! Do you not have patience to walk from there to here!!

"Afraid not." Robin told Homer.

"I wonder if there is a way to combine magic and technology..." Homer wondered aloud.

Sibylla just stood near the back of the temple for lack of anything to do.

"Once you figure out electricity, you can create servos and motors used to move prosthetics." EMily commented.

"You have two legs! You do not have to jump everywhere! You don't even get tired! What is stopping you from walking over here like a normal person!"

"Is there magic where you come from?" Robin asked Cybil.

"The hard part will probably the sensors. And maybe the wires..." Homer said, rubbing his chin. He then turned to Emily and looked at her excitedly."Would you be willing to help me make Shara a better arm?" he asked.

 

[Slenn]

"While I don't know the schematics by heart, creating sensors is not hard. So I might be able to work on something. The first movable prosthetics worked with muscle contractions, having them push against a sensor to move something. The later ones worked through nerve impulses to interpret commands from the brain. Our brains and our muscles are moved through electricity as well." She cleared her throat. "It's just her hand, correct?"

"Well, part of her arm too." Homer clarified.

"What would you like to know?" the priestess asked, as Father Ysha walked into his office in the back of the temple.

The guard started leading Yeager through the halls, pointing out the locations of various parts of the palace, from the kitchens below to the fact that the bedrooms were near the tip of the blade. As they walked, a few servants would pass by them, all Calibethan. However, some had much paler skin, almost pure white, with equally light hair and irises.

 

[Silence]

Anik arrived at the group, now really. The others would probably notice that Shara was not with her.

She said to Topaz: "Next time you better take me with you."
