<color=green>"Well, if you guys can make your way back to the portal back near the sea town where you started, you could probably send us some our way. Each pylon is transmitting enough power for 10 homes each. If you can lend us at least 10 of your fission batteries, that would certainly lighten the load."

**Optional Quest Added: Thinking With Portals. Provide 10 fission batteries via the portal.**

<color=green>"Hello there, you must be.... Robin. Nice to meet you!" She was searching through EMily's notes for Robin's name. Off camera, there was another voice.

<color=purple>"Winona, we have one minute left."

<color=green>"Okay, Gwen." Winona could be seen turning her head to the side.

 

[Silence]

Anik brought out her alc and tried to drink herself into Oblivion.

I really need better stuff.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"You've heard of me?" Robin looked to EMily. "Been sending them updates?"

 

[Wackymon]

Sally, seeing Anik pull out her drink, walked over, handing her an Atomic Cocktail, "Want one?"

[color=FFCC33]"Hey, can I have one of those atomic thingies?"[/color] Topaz asked Sally.

 

[Wackymon]

"Sure," she said, flipping up the lid, and detaching it, pulling out a base, and screwing it on. She fills the cocktail glass completely, using up less than a quarter of the bottle.
She then pulls out another one, flips the lid, and just downs a quarter of it in one go.

Topaz opened his mouth comically wide and ate the entire glass (or bottle, I'm confused) in a single bite. [color=FFCC33]"Eh, tastes alright. Is it supposed to do anything?"[/color] He asked, completely unaffected by the drink or glass shards at all.

 

[Slenn]

"I just transmitted my entire log. The portal was closed off. But it's open enough for a transmission." She explained to Robin.

Her head darted around.
"Why am I picking up beta particles? Is something irradiated?"

 

[Wackymon]

Sally stared at Topaz.
"Alright, I really shouldn't have drunk a quarter of it in one go." she said, looking at her bottle of the stuff. (Imagine a removable lid that you can remove and turn into a cocktail glass) She hands the rest of the first bottle to Topaz.
"Some pre-war drink, Atomic Cocktail. Really nice to down, you know, nice and heavy- Though, considering you just, you know, ate the glass... It's alchahol, nice drug that numbs the senses, you know? Nice to have, once in a while." she said.
She waves to EMily, "Hey, you want some?" Sally calls out to her, waving around her bottle of Atomic Cocktail, which is, indeed, the source of the radiation- Though not emitting enough to affect anyone nearby, ingesting it would add a miniscule amount- Say, 9 rads?

 

[Slenn]

"At any other hour I would probably say yes, since I'm immune to radiation. But I don't want to get a hangover when I wake up, so no thanks. Is it like sake? I really like sake."

 

[username sucks]

Topaz ate the bottle too, then shrugged. [color=FFCC33]"The glass thing tasted better than the bottle."[/color]

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Could it be opened? We may be able to get home." Robin pondered.

 

[Wackymon]

"Of course it did." Sally said, "Of course you ate the bottle instead of drinking the drink." she said.
She shrugged at EMily, "Suit yourself." she said, continuing to down the alcohol.

 

[Slenn]

<color=green>"Looks like I'm out of time. We'll try contacting the power station at Wichita and see what they can provide. We'll get you back, don't you worry. Love you sis'!"

EMily blew her a kiss, and the transmission faded.

"Well, it's only towards my world. They're using warpgate technology to help stabilize the portal over there. But since it's not necessarily the same thing as a portal between two places in the same universe, it's needing to draw a lot of power to open it up. If you could find the portal that leads to your world, and if we get this one open, and if there's enough power on this side we might be able to provide the warpgate parts needed to hold a stable portal."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"Sounds like a lot of work. And... I don't even remember my home world..."

 

[Slenn]

"Have you made any progress in searching your text books for how people are gifted to use magic?"

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"I've been looking through them, and even managed to teach some magic. It seems anyone with a strong mind can use magic if they have the right materials."

 

[Slenn]

"Well, I suppose I could try it in the morning. Right now I'm kind of tired. I'm going to head into the boat."

 

[Gearhead mk2]

"You'd be good at thunder magic I feel." Robin snarked.

 

[Wackymon]

"What about me? Will I be shooting fire from my fists and fire magic bullets or something?" sally called, having finished her cocktail.
