Anik was confused who Hillary was talking to for a moment, then connected the dots:
"You mean this?" she made another clicking sound with her mouth, "It creates echoes. With them I can hear where things and people are, just like when you see them. I can do it with other sounds, but the clicks are the most precise."
She did indeed lift Timeas shoulders for a few seconds, then dropped them again, an uneasy look on her face.

"I doubt we will be able to move her much. I can barely lift her shoulders. She's heavy."
She did not know EMily was addressing her, and thought instead she was talking to the whole group, so she did not respond.

[color=9f2089]"Let's at least get her inside here then."[/color] Cybil opened the doors to the temple, then did her best at helping the others move her.

Sibylla also tried helping, but was super weak and contributed little.

"Well, any city would benefit from them," the princess stated, as they entered the building. Yeager would see that it was similar to a library, and contained quite a few people writing in books. Yeager would see one person, whose eyes were glowing white, was simply pouring ink onto a book, and arranging it into letters on the pages.

"I'm not sure of the distance, but both cities are on the northern edge of the desert." Eina said, before looking at Robin. "I've never seen anyone create fire like that before."

"Ah neato, what else can your mouth do?" Hillary asked, still hugging Timea but otherwise giving Anik some attention. "Is it working, is Timea getting better?" Hillary asked, turning her head more to look at everyone and not just Anik.

 

[Slenn]

"Anik, my apologies. I was addressing you. Do you need help?"

 

[Chungus]

Like Anik, Robin wouldn't be able to comfortably lift the part he tried to lift. He could lift a foot without any trouble, but it would likely get very exerting very soon trying to lift much more then a single lower leg.

Not helping in moving Timea was that the brass Hillary laid on her, bringing the weight up to roughly nine tonnes.

Robin struggled to lift Timea, even with his magic. Eventually he was about to drop her, and opted to gently let her down and stand back. "Don't think I'll be much use here... Cybil, can you carry her legs?" He turned to EMily. "Are you alright?" He nodded to the priestess. "Is magic frowned on here?"

 

[Silence]

Anik did first respond to EMily: "I think we need all the help we can get. She weighs a ton. Or more. How is this even possible?"

She then did the impression of a bird with her mouth, then a cat: "Mreow! I can do that!"
The sounds did give the echoes of Hillary, which Anik seemed to notice after a longer time than she needed to.
"Ehm ... Hillary? Could you get off Timea until we have carried her inside?"

 

[Slenn]

EMily rushed over to give them a hand wherever there was space available.

"Alright, I'm ready to move."

 

[Furioso]

"......Isn't that banned?" asked Yeager, more confused than anything.

Although Hillary didn't say anything about it, when Robin asked about magic, Hillary's mouth puckered. She still remembered Timea's instructions not to mention magic at all.

"But Timea is still not awake yet? Don't I gotta keep hugging her?" She asked, feeling like she should really just be doing what she was doing already.

"Sorcery is illegal, but what you did wasn't sorcery."

"It is. All of them were arrested and brought here because they performed sorcery." Maribeth replied. "And when they come here, they study sorcery, under military supervision."

 

[Silence]

"You can start hugging her again when we have brought her into the temple. Just get off her for a few seconds, she will endure it.

I think you are really heavy right now, Hillary, and we can't lift her if you sit on her."

Robin called to Hillary. "Hillary, you might have to detach for a bit while we're trying to move Timea. Stay close to her, OK?"

 

[Zepherus14]

Hillary would consider her options, looking up at the temple and then to Timea, before getting off, but leaving as much of Timea covered as possible. She would save one blanket for herself though, as she wasn't supposed to touch Timea with her bare hands. "Okay. Let's all do it together!" She clapped with a metallic thud.

 

[Furioso]

Yeager wondered why they would allow potential threats to study and become more of a threat. "Oh, alright then. Vhy do you do that?' he asked.

 

[Slenn]

"Is everyone ready?" She said while exerting some breaths as part of her mantra to hold up the weight. She cracked her neck in waiting.

"We had sorcerers in the military before, and the ban on sorcery was mostly just a reaction to Calivane's death. Califorth thought it was a bad idea, in the long run, to get rid of one of the more powerful branches of the military." Maribeth explained. "Our father didn't know about all this, though. Neither do the civilians."

 

[Silence]

"I count to three, then we lift.

One, two, three." Anik said, and lifted Timeas shoulders again, trying to feel the movement of the others, and matching their pace and direction.

EMily moved along while carrying Timea. Her head tilted from side to side as she thought about what the priestess said.

"So, what's the difference between sorcery and what Robin did?"
