"I'm not sure if Avinah's miracles would work on it." Eina replied. She looked over the robot, attempting to work out what the problem was based on how it looked.

"Well, different qualities of metals and alloys can behave a little differently. Same goes for different ores. But I've never had someone give me something that looked like iron but acted more like granite, or whatever, if that's what you're asking." the smith replied.

 

[Silence]

"I ... thank you." Anik said, first wanting to say more about her change of character, then deciding against it.

She listened closely to the information Timea had, and said, after she had finished: "... this might indeed be worth looking into. Gods, or whatever they are, definitely have a lot of power in this world.
What is the name of this place in the north?" Talking about gods, Anik unconsciously felt her new scars.

You consider what Alain is saying for a moment. You feel that you known him long enough to trust him, and you didn't get a good feeling about the robots yourself. In reply to Rebecca, you thoughtfully say that you should alert the others not from this world. "They pack a lot more firepower than we do. If anyone can bring this 'Ultron' down, it's them. I'm not sure if it's a good idea to take the road south though, if he frequents it."

Calibeth City Ruins
The Terminator kept moving east, before turning north when it hit upon the southern road from Calibeth City. It cautiously approached the city gate, but finding nothing there it swiftly entered. It proceeded to search the city, looking for clothing of all kinds in order to allow continued infiltration.

Alain stopped to think for a minute on what Shara suggested. "I dunno. It's been a while since you saw the other group, right? They could be anywhere by now." He said. "If we can figure out which model of Ultron this is, I'll know if we stand a chance. Hopefully it's Mark 12, that one wasn't evil."

Completely confused by the robomage, Aqua walked back inside to check on Timea, trusting Robin to deal with the Robot.

"The materials I'm looking for are generally silvery, and are either softer or harder than most known metals, and have either lower, or much higher melting points"

Ultron stated, thinking how else it could approach the subject, beginning to draw blanks, and getting more frustrated because of it.

"... What are all the known ores? Maybe what I'm looking for is lumped with those."

Central Palladein - 11:09 AM​

"As far as I'm aware, the place has no name", Timea answered. "But I know where to find it." She was half tempted to make a minor jab that the gods being influential was what she said when she ran into Anik for the second time, in Calibeth City, but kept herself from doing so.

Noticing Anik rub her arms, Timea looked towards the spot she rubbed over, noting the red scars thereon. She had noted the markings, earlier, but didn't fully register what she saw.

"...What is that on your arms? You didn't have that, before", she questioned.

 

[Silence]

"No name? Was it forgotten by the people?
We should definitely get our Robin to this place as well, but we need to make a stop in Vala before. Then ... maybe we can finally figure out why we are here." Anik said first, then she answered the question, deciding she could tell truthfully, as Timea had, after all, trusted her with a lot of information.
"It's ... an experiment. A strength enhancement, provided by the god Faotar."

Wanting to just get the annoying bit with the robot over with so everyone could focus on un-fucking the world, Cybil went over to Robin and asked a question she had been holding onto for a while. "Any long thin wooden object with some gem or crystal on top." Robin answered Cybil, then looked to the bot. "I'm not sure."

"You've placed your faith in gods?" Timea questioned, raising an eyebrow. "I've said it to others, and I'll say it to you; you shouldn't put much trust in outside sources. There may come a moment where you're without it, and what then?" After saying this, Timea paused a brief moment, then shook her head. "If it's strength you want, I suggest getting it the conventional way."

As Aqua approached, Timea briefly glanced towards her, then looked back to Anik.

Aqua stood to the side and waited for Anik and Timea to finish talking.

"Yeah... Well, maybe we'll run into them. Anyway, Ultron usually takes over with existing technology and the internet and stuff, but it doesn't have that advantage on this world. So we've got that going for us."

The Terminator would be able to get clothing from the bodies of the people he had killed.

The smith listed off a variety of ores he knew about, most of which were ores primarily containing the metals Ultron had been told existed in this world, such as copper and iron.

Not being able to identify any issues with the robot's body, largely due to her not understanding how it worked, Eina considered returning to her duties. However, Anik's mention of Faotar caught her attention. "Did you say you performed a ritual of Faotar?" she asked, approaching Anik.

 

[Silence]

"... I'm not naive." Anik said, not really wanting to outright say I did not place all my faith in gods. "I know that there is a risk in trust. But then, I'm reliant on others, most of the time, so I have to take this risk." She did not comment on the 'conventional way'.

"... Yes." Anik answered Eina, when she heard her approaching and asking, hoping she had not just committed a taboo, or worse.

 

[Furioso]

After some time, Yeager left his house and started heading west for Hannamar. On his way out he let the guards know to let Ultron know where he was headed if asked. The tunnel in his house was filled and the wood above it repaired. A far distance from Vala, out of sight of the walls, the ground opened up and 8 people walked out. Each wore blue/black cloaks with long sleeves and with hoods over their heads. They had masks on their faces and goggles with red lenses. They were in 2 groups of 4, each group carrying a huge irregular metal box covered in grooves and lines. They headed west as well.

Timea only blew a soft sigh in response to Anik, partially because she didn't feel like debating anything, and partially because she wondered what Eina was going to say, and opted to let the woman speak. In the mean time, Timea looked up to Aqua, as much as her neck would allow in her current position, and with a neutral tone, asked, "yes?"

At the list the smith mentioned, Ultron blew an artificial, exasperated sigh. It tapped its foot for a moment, then said,

"Okay... one more thing. I want to know what this is."

It held out its arm, and opened its hand, showing the shards of crystal glas from Calibeth's City's caves.

"Where would I go to have it examined?"

Eina smiled and looked at the scars, curiously. "I've never met anyone who's successfully done this before. What happened when you did it?" she asked.

"A jeweler, I suppose. There aren't any in Vala, though." the smith replied. "Just looks like broken glass to me, though."

It looked at Robin, seemingly confused.
It then spent the time being examined, extremely confused as to what the heck Eina was doing.
Eina, in her examination, would note that, to be frank, the robot had less machinery, and more arcane runes- There were some wires, but they were mostly stable. The real issue was that there was a ton of sand ingrained into it.
After she left, he looked at Robin,

"QUERY: WHAT IS YOUR CLASS?"

it asked, a slight sound of worry in it's synthetic voice.

 

[Silence]

Anik had a similar expression to "wat" on her face, when she answered Eina:
"Well, I prayed and then I felt stronger. Did many people try this before?"
