The Delivery man who no one bothered to ask the name of was, loafed about in the library next to Robin. As The Gems entered he waved to Aqua. Attempting to make small talk he simply said. "... You're really tall."

When the Deliveryman waved at Aqua his hand accidentally knocked over a book causing it to fall to the ground and causing it's pages to open. Just then a white flash of light erupted near the book. When the light dimmed it revealed a huge beast causing the two bookcases besides him to fall to the ground. It was a Triceratops with feathers that made it look like a parent that was still eating some vegetation.

The beast looked around at its surroundings and muttered "What....the.....fuck?"

[color=66CCFF]"Uhh, thank you?"[/color] Aqua awkwardly responded to the delivery man. [color=66CCFF]"You're very... Uhh."[/color]

As she was struggling to think of a polite response, the triceratops thing appeared. Aqua instinctively summoned her mace and assumed a fighting stance, while Topaz walked up and attempted to pet it.

He looked at the weird creatures that was standing in front of him "Wha..WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THING!" he said as he took a defensive stance"YOU LOOK LIKE GIANT RATS!"

Topaz shapeshifted into an imitation of the triceratops thing. [color=FFCC33]"Is this better?"[/color] He asked, sounding somewhat strained.

 

[Godzillarich(aka tf2godz)]

He was naturally taken back by Topaz shape shifting. "What are the you creatures?" he said as he kept his defensive stance

[color=FFCC33]"Most of these squishy things are 'Humans', but me and the big blue girl are Gems, I'm Topaz and She's Aquamarine. We-"[/color] Topaz said, before he suddenly poofed back to normal. [color=FFCC33]"Ow... You're too big for me to hold your form."[/color]

[color=66CCFF]"Care telling us who and what you are, now?"[/color] Aquamarine asked, still holding her mace in a defensive stance.

The man was startled by the strange creature appearing next to him, backing to a safe distance to make sure the creature didn't hit him. His panic seemed to very quickly subside, before he said "... We're gonna need a bigger door.... Should I start setting up the carpentry job now, or later?" He said grabbing his clipboard, and turning over some pages before writing some stuff down.

he was still undoubtably confused about the situation "I have never seen a creature do that before?"he walked up to them still keeping his guard up. "My name is Beak, I'm a 3 horn."

[color=FFCC33]"Well, beak, you're not the only one who's confused. I never have any idea what's going on."[/color]

Aqua shot a scowl at Topaz, then looked to Beak. [color=66CCFF]"People have been appearing here from other worlds recently. If your situation is like ours, there isn't any way to get you home at the moment."[/color] She explained, still not letting her guard down.

"This places weird and you creatures are weird"Beak said before he turned around"I'm going to go find my group now."Beak then proceeded to walk through the library knocking over and/or stepping on every bookcase that was in his path

 

[Silence]

Vala - Day 2 - 22:16

Anik thanked the guard for the information and, when they stopped in the upper room, waited until someone was talking, so she could address them.

 

[Gearhead mk2]

Robin blushed as the delivery guy delivered his opinion of the ships.

He stared in shock at the large reptilian beaked creature, stunned as it talks and walked out the door.

 

[Slenn]

"So that must be the cause of the craters we saw on our way here." She said to no one in particular.

 

[Chungus]

Vala Area - Day 1 - 18:01​

"On your world, maybe. Probably mine, too. But things are different, here. They didn't even do much when I was walking around with nothing covering the endoskeleton"

, Ultron countered, speaking casually.

"So, it shouldn't be too hard for me to earn some trust. [i]Helping around town might do some favours there, too... . Hmm.[/i]

Village, church - Day 2 - 19:22​

"Nothing useful", Timea answered, throwing the doll away with a flick of her wrist, having the length of the arm return to normal afterwards. "Well, there isn't a lot left to do here. I'll go give the books another look. In the meantime, why don't you go back down to that building we were at before just now, and ask why the inside of this place is in ever so much better shape than the outside?"

 

[Furioso]

"Maybe, but I vouldn't know. I didn't follow him." said Yeager to EMily, leaning against the doorframe.

 

[Slenn]

She sighed and nodded her head a little before shrugging.

"Well, I haven't seen any weapon that would cause that to happen. The most advanced I've seen so far are weapons with dual personalities, so to speak."

 

[Furioso]

"Ja, I haven't entered full production yet, so it isn't one of my veapons. " lied Yeager, knowing it was probably Ultron behind the craters.

 

[Slenn]

"If what you're saying is true, then the only other weapons that could cause such a crater would be an hand grenade or some other conventional explosive. And no one else I know of on our team would have the strength to carry such a thing. Perhaps Jane or Sally, but they were with us on our way passing the craters. I suppose that the only other candidates are Ultron and this other man you speak of. And I'm not convinced that Ultron would do such a thing, even if he tends to vocalize his thoughts a bit rashly."

 

[Silence]

Vala - later, after the conversation with Ana has ended

Anik patiently waited out whatever they talked about (maybe occasionally saying something, the reader will learn about it later), then she said, already becoming nervous again after staying this long in the city:
"Robin? The swords are finished. Maybe you could show me how this works, now."
