John nudged The Doctor in the ribs at his last comment. "Yeah, uh Doc. Hate to burst your bubble, but... This one is kind of real... I mean I used to be a skeptical in these situations, but sometimes you just have to face the facts. Sometimes Area 51 really does house several aliens, and other times... Stone Henge really is just a pile of rocks that a bunch of people moved... In this case someone calling them self a god really is in fact... A god. "

As Anik explained things, Timea looked her over with a bemused expression. From Anik's mannerisms, Timea gleaned that she was telling the truth. She didn't get angry, mostly because Anik already made up for what she did, but was still not very pleased. Anik might also sense an increase in mistrust in Timea, this borne of being uncomfortable around one who could tell how she felt about things. "... Is that right", was all she ended up saying, initially. Despite her feelings, Timea spoke with a neutral tone.

After some more thought, she eventually added, "This then, would also be how you could tell how old I am, yes?"

Timea noted what Mochán said, but already talking to Anik, didn't respond, yet.

Robin stepped forward. "I apologise for that." He looked to the Doctor with a expression that read "let me take the lead", then turned back to Et and bowed. "Thank you for your help."

The combination of the two people explaining that the god wore clothes from their world, whereas she could only 'see' a thing without features, did Anik frighten more than she cared to admit. She did not comment on it, however, just kept it in her heart.

To Timea, she just said: "Yes." She briefly considered explaining that this kind of mistrust was the whole reason why she hid the truth from Timea, but decided against it, as the situation was just too familiar, and openly talking about the non-disclosed feelings of another person was rarely a good idea.

She halfway turned, back towards the road, and said: "So you do not know more than us about this god?"

"Other then the things I already mentioned, I know that the gods - him/her included - can die, as I suspected. I also know his rituals have an uncanny resemblance to that of Calibeth, and I suspect he isn't actually capable of moving things between worlds. But that last bit is hearsay, at best." Timea explained. "Oh, I also know he sees everything that goes on in the world, but I don't think that's a trait exclusive to him."

 

[Silence]

Anik listened closely to what Timea was saying, a few questions arising as she talked. She turned back, and said: "A resemblance to Calibeths rituals? I thought it was Faotars. At least this is how I could speak to ... her." She pointed at her scars. "But the last thing, why do you think this? She is the god of everything, and yes, she knew what had happened to us. But you think other gods can do this as well, even though they're not the god of everything? Not just know about their own domain?"

"I do believe so, yes", Timea answered. "The first day I was on this world, the Kaisiri sea god commented on something I was doing, while I was a good distance inland. There could be other explanations for it, but I do think he could see everything. It then stands to reason other gods can, too."

After saying this, Timea paused, standing up, and stretching her legs. "All things considdered, what do you two think of this god? Do you believe, or even trust him/her?"

East Northern Road - Day 3 - 7:55

Anik wondered about the sea god, but not knowing anything about it, and it not being the subject of the discussion, decided to only ask about it maybe later.

She, again, briefly considered her words, then said: "I don't know. But for what it's worth, and despite how much you probably hate me doing this, I asked her if I could do something for her, and she denied it, saying she could do everything she needed to herself. So, that should at least make the question if we have to trust her obsolete. Believe her? Well, if she doesn't even answer questions, just says we should go to Vesh, it is the same. But I think she probably was not telling the truth in needing no help. So, I don't believe or trust her, really, but it probably does not matter, for now. There seems to be only one road, either way. To Vesh."

 

[Slenn]

EMily rubbed her chin.
"Hmmmm... So I see. The way energy works here must behave much differently than on my world. Either this world is quite young and all of life was created 600 years ago. That or the plants drew energy from the ground long before the presence of sunlight. They must not have had leaves back then, and then sunlight came in and some force granted them leaves.."

People might notice that EMily started pacing back and forth. She stopped.

"This might sound like cheating for answers, but how old is this world?" She asked Et.

Timea had objections to some of Anik's choice of words, and noting how Anik choose her words, wondered what was going through Anik's head. But to not derail the ongoing conversation, didn't comment on either things. "Personally, I didn't get the feeling I was being lied to, at least not directly. Although I do think I haven't been told all the things I needed to be told. Et - which I've called the god - didn't answer all my questions, insisting I find them on my own. And no few answer he did gave were very... oracular.

So with that in mind, I agree with... --" Trailing off at the end of her sentence, Timea looked down to Mochán, asking, "What is your name? I never caught it."

"Right. Well, you've probably heard my name, already. But I'm Timea." Timea stated, raising her hand in place of a handshake.

Moving to the tree where she buried her meal, Timea lowered herself to stand on all fours, and turned into a tiger, the blanket remaining draped over the shoulder blades. When changed, she adjusted her vocal chords, then began digging up the remains of her meal. "So, Anik. You're back to your original plan of going to Vesh. But, what will you do once you get there?" she asked, turning her head to look to Anik. She didn't expect a truthful answer.

"We planned to head there eventually anyway." Robin told Et. "Something happened in Calibeth."

 

[Silence]

Anik, however, did answer truthfully, because she saw no reason not to: "I will probably search for some kind of temple, and ask what I was asking the god, what happened when the other gods were created. The ones who maybe split from the original, Et. And if I meet Robin, Matilda and the others again, I will try to help them go back to their worlds ... maybe choosing to go to one of these, myself. Just not back to mine."

She curiously listened to what Timea was doing, but refrained herself from clicking, thinking it might be considered rude.
