"Well I'm supposed to be!" Hillary proclaimed, setting her hands on her hips. "Ever since I got here I've been flip flopping to different stuff. I don't know why I'm not slimy..." She said before pivoting towards Timea. "Timea found me all sandy, and she's been taking care of me since, right?"

"If you want my advice, I think you should cover as much skin as possible, head included. The reason is twofold: One, for protection against the cold, obviously. But two, to hide the fact you're human. Moving around Vesh, not doing so will likely not do you any favours at all."
Hearing Hillary's response to Anik, Timea agreed that they weren't, instead, by and large, considering them a pest.
Finishing cutting away at the various ligaments, Timea pulled the remaining carcass' hide off like a sock, laying it on the ground besides the carcass, with the fur facing down. She then moved to a position where she faced away from Hillary, Anik and Mochán. "Fire incoming", she announced without urgency, then pouted her lips and blew a jet of flame above the carcass to roast it.
"Well, I'm just like everybody else ... well, maybe I spoke too soon. Are there even humans in your slime world? Then humans would not even be boring for you!" Anik said to Hillary.
She was surprised by Timeas suggestion, but appreciated the hint, so she said, jokingly: "But what about my looks?

While roasting the meat, stopping every four seconds to take a breathe, Timea had a second, jawless mouth grow on her back. "Well, ger arf fhe Kaifiri people, lifing... I fink, to fhe West of Calibeff. Fer arf alfo fhe merfol', lifing at fhe boffom of fhe fealfs. In boff cafef, I honefly haffen' a clue af fo fha' fer relationf wiff fhe Vesh'Rah arf", she explained, speaking with slurred words, unable to produce them properly without a jaw. She also didn't know the mermen weren't at all human, wrongly believing them such after how a Kaisiri fisherman described them.
As she spoke, her flame sputtered more.
Roasting one side of the carcass, Timea stopped the fire breath, and flipped to the other side. Before continuing roasting it, speaking with her normal mouth, she added, "Personally, I wouldn't risk openly showing what you are."

"Did you hear me chewing something?" Timea said rhetorically, and with some bemusement present in her tone. She also further doubted Anik's hearing ability was as proclaimed. "I haven't even start eating, yet. That was talking with a second mouth." After saying this, Timea resumed roasting the carcass.
"It looks a lot like what I looked like when I was all sandy actually." Hillary responded, walking around Anik as she looked at her. "Cuz I got long hair... just like your's!" Hillary relayed, playing a little with the tips of Anik's hair. "And um... I got hands and eyes and a nose... and um..." Hillary continued walking back to Anik's front. "Really the only difference is I'm slime and I just have kinda like a pile that I sit on kinda?" Hillary said, turning to Timea.

At Anik's retort, Timea stopped breathing her flames, her brow twitching with growing anger. "Well, pardon me, madam "my hearing is so sharp, I hear conversations taking place miles away"!" She scoffed, then began doing a breathing exercise to keep herself from getting more angry.
At Hillary's comment, Timea held out her hand towards her with a finger extended in a "one moment" gesture, until she finished calming herself. After she blew a small sigh, and looked to Hillary. "Well... I didn't get a very good look at you while you were in your slime state, but I do think you were either red, green, or a combination thereof, before."
"Oh ya, I'm also green! The ground was red where I was before I came here." Hillary added with Timea reminding her of it. Hillary had waited til Timea had answered her, but with both of the 'adults' starting to but heads again, Hillary medium disapproved. "Don't start fighting before we even get going, that's not good at all."
Anik's annoyance was quickly reduced by what Timea was saying, and gave a quick laugh. "You still remember that? Well, my hearing is very good, but I can't hear stuff miles away. It's my other sense, you know which one now, that led me to you. Sorry that I lied to you. Kind of.

Hillary answered, tapping her chin. "But normally I just stuff the stuff into my mouth, and then I can eat it from there. There hasn't really been any good stuff here though... Timea had me try liver, but that tasted really gross." Hillary added, making a bleh sound near the end.
