"H-How'd you do that?" Hillary asked when she noticed Anik come back from getting her boots. "Anik Anik! Winona brought Emily here with some light... hammer... thing! It was really cool."
"An image? That's not very useful." Anik said, still confused, but in another way. "Well, EMily knows already, so I guess I can explain it to you too ... I can sense the hearts of people, and identify them by this."
"Well it was like she was there, but small and kinda shiny." Hillary described, using a bunch of hand gestures that would mean nothing to Anik, but she was trying really hard. "And she popped out of Winona's hammer, and said some stuff, and then she went back into the hammer."

"Well, to begin with, the city's name. That, and that of "Mathan Daer"", Timea began. She momentarily trailed off as she heard Hillary speak excitedly, and turned her head to glance over her shoulder, but then looked back to the man. "These names sound like no other I've heard in Calibeth, which makes me think they were from before the conquest. Am I correct in thinking such?"
"That... sounds really complicated..." Hillary said, her excitement dampened as she had very little concepts of most of what Winona had told her. It was also worth noting that Hillary looked about 7ish.
Noticing that Hillary was probably far younger than what she had expected, Winona tried to simplify things down for both Beak and Hillary.

"Ya, it's like thingy." Hillary suggested her own word. "But I get it now, it's like if you yelled at someone really really really loud from far away." Hillary added, feeling like she understood the concept of the radio.
Winona tilted her head in thought, but then nodded her head.

And if something is thick enough, the radio can't send information through it. Much in the same way a wall gets in the way of sound. Radio also has the advantage of sending information far more quickly than sound and much farther away."
