"Why, no. That's something for you to do. After all, I don't have anything to pay with", Timea pointed out, noting what Speedy had said, opting to ask about it, a little later. For now, she asked, "Either way, I understand you not wanting to take the boat trip." Timea then thought for a moment if she wanted to carry Anik, or even if she could, in current conditions. Coming up with a solution to the heat problem, and deciding it would be best to keep Anik around, for the time being, she said, "But we'll come up with a solution for that."
"Do not fret, my friend! Besides, I'm sure you will be able to see the glory of Lord Gwyn in battle sometime soon." Solaire said. "But if you ever want to spar, I'd be more than willing."

As much as the talk of politics, other worlds, and rockets were interesting in their own right, pretty quickly Hillary was already starting to nod off again, having been woken up by Timea early so she hadn't melted after all. At first Hillary had only sat down on one of the steps nearby Winona and Anik as they talked, but as the minutes rolled by she quickly fell asleep, a very still stone statue. She wouldn't wake up when Solaire appeared, but at least stirred somewhat.
If she was left to sleep the 2ish hours that has gone on since, Hillary would have pooled a bit even in her rocky state. Whenever she'd get up now she'd have some nice lined grooves along her body where she was in contact with the edges of the staircase.

"Oh, but the purpose of sparring is not to win, but to improve your skills! Anyone could benefit from it." Solaire said to Robin. "After all, you should want to be prepared if some beast gets too close."
"I do have some skill with a sword. Perhaps we can find a smith or trainer here in the city?"
"Thank you." Anik said, and sniffed. "If we need to pay something, I can do it, but I don't think I'm the best to deal with people right now."

"You can. Unless Timea wants to ask you something more." Anik answered, and poked him with her finger.

At Anik's demeanour, Timea half wondered what had happened to her in the time she was out getting a meal, but said nothing on it. Instead, she looked to Speedy. "There are two things, actually. One, what is your name? And two, which boat has Robin found that will take passengers?", she asked, hoping her asking for a name would indicate to Anik, Timea wasn't talking to her.
"I'm Speedy." Speedy said. "It's the big boat!" he added, pointing at it with his tiny paw. "The man said they have room for 8 people or so, the whole group!"

Timea glanced over to the boat Speedy indicated, looking it over, and estimating if the boat could hold stone Hillary, based on whatever cargo might be visible. Regardless of her findings, Timea looked back to Speedy thereafter, and said, "Thank you. Well, you can go now."
Timea was puzzled by Speedy's name, but didn't comment on it.
When Winona stepped over, Timea glanced between EMily and Winona for a moment, then looked down to Winona, a significant height difference between the two. "Hello. Can I help you with anything?"
Speedy jumped down from Aniks shoulder, and ran back to Robin. There, he pulled at Robins pants, wanting to get picked up again.
Anik, thinking of how she could take another mouthful of vodka without anyone noticing, stood by, listening. Then she realized EMily was standing there, and remembered what she had talked about with Winona.
"Emily?" she said, "Winona said I should ask you about your paradise ... I mean, photon form. What is that?"

"If there I've been the subject of stories, I'm going to assume you know my name, already. But still, I'm Timea." Timea raised her hand in way of a greeting, and returned Winona's smile. Still not in a fantastic mood, it was a bit forced, but looked natural. She wondered how much about her has been told to anyone who happened to ask about it for a moment, then responded.
"Anyway, we're not really looking for help, for the same reason I'm not travelling with the rest of you, to begin with. I've said to Robin that I'm not a people's person."

As Winona has probably told you, we have met Markus before. Photon Form is the name given to my temporary transhuman state by fusing with our devices. Photon is the name of my device, and Winona's W± and Z0 hammers are hers. It was Markus who devised our devices to aid us on our perilous journey back on our homeworld and to the stars. It was also he who helped us figure out how to fuse ourselves with the power of the devices to become transhuman in dire situations."
