In a flash of light Beak suddenly appeared "A warning would've been nice." He then started looking around and noticed all the dead bodies. "wha....What happened Here?" Beak said in absolute shock.

"Just a group of mercenaries." The Doctor said as kneel down and looked at the dead guard "sadly innocent people have to be in the way" he said as he turned to look at the ocean. "we have no time to gossip, we need to make sure everyone's okay"

Walking into Utarra, Timea first glanced to Anik, noting that she didn't seem to be doing any worse. Without knowing what caused the lack of a change, however, she didn't comment on it, instead looking back towards the town, scanning over the area. "Well", she began, speaking in a slightly lowered voice. "There seem to be some humans present, so the prejudice might not be all that drastic, here."

As Timea entered the city, she would find herself receiving quite a few strange looks, and would likely notice she stood out more than usual, since nobody in Utarra was even slightly scaly or reptilian to any degree.

The very much not-dead guard glared at the Doctor as he retrieved his prosthetic arm. "I think you should explain what just happened in more detail than that."

the Doctor jump back in surprise"well from my best estimate mercenaries who are after us for a Triceratops, and are being paid by criminal organization that probably has access to time travel technology and you don't believe a word I say do you? the Doctor said as he realized how crazy he was sounding.

"Huh." Anik said. After thinking for a short moment, she pulled down her veil, and stuffed it inside her coat. "I won't need that here. Probably? I will put it on if I have to play the bodyguard, so nobody sees my blindfold." she added, quite unsure of what she should do.

Anik, interested in the apparent companion of the group, and a cocky female at that, read Luminaras heart while passing her on the way to Hillary.

Anik would find that Luminara's heart didn't match her outward personality at all. It was instead meek, yet kind, but also full of suffering. She also might be able to tell that Luminara is very old, and not completely human anymore.

Timea noted the looks she was getting, but didn't really mind much, having long since giving up on trying to blend in with the crowd. She did, however, wonder if she looked too intimidating, knowing that wouldn't help in having people be open with her.

"I think you can do without it, yes, and can speak freely, if you want to", Timea began, starting to walk further into town. "You should probably still mind your words, however. Be polite, and don't take up any one person's time too long. And if anyone asks why we're together, you know what to say."

"I got the gist of it. I think you should leave the island, if you're going to be bringing this sort of trouble with you." the guard replied, still quite annoyed.

"'She is my bodyguard'?" Anik joked, then added: "Yes, if they don't have too different social standards here, I should be fine. But it is a port town, so even then ..."

"We're just looking for information to bring the sun back and we heard the answer was on this island" the Doctor said realizing how crazy he was sounding "if we don't get the sun, things well become far worse for everybody

When the Doctor mentioned the sun, the guard bared his fangs again. "You are very, very mistaken." he growled.

On Anik's joke, Timea considered if there ever would be a time the roles would be reversed like that, taking comfort in thinking her shapeshifting abilities made that unlikely. "Well, we'll be finding out how things will go, very soon", Timea commented.

Walking further, she approached the nearest Vesh'Rah, raising her hand on her approach. "Excuse me?" she called out, with her voice at normal speaking level.

The Vesh'Rah looked up at Timea, his eyes looking over her unusual body curiously. "What is it?" he asked. Timea would notice that he wasn't wearing armour, or any upper-body clothing, but he did have a belt holding up a pair of trousers and a sword. She would also likely spot cloth footwraps covering his feet, which were more similar to hind paws than human feet.

"'Ignorant' might be a better word. Or 'stupid'." the guard replied. "If I could, I'd throw you into the sea and make you swim back to your empire where you belong."

As soon as Timea stopped, Anik halted as well and paused her clicking, to not freak anyone out, and to listen to what Timea was asking.
