As the group continued walking along the road, they would find it followed the coast, which would start gradually curving north. The mountain Utarra was at the base of would gradually become further away, though its prominence would make it seem just as large. The journey would take them through a few farming villages, which would give them a place to rest and wait for Cybil.
Just past one of these villages, the road would fork, with one path following the coast and the other heading back towards the mountain.

Robin stopped at the fork in the road, seeing where the branches went and figuring out which was north.
Robin looked to Beak, then out a hand on the dinos side and smiled, trying to comfort him. "I'll think of something. I promise."

The sun and moon deities have been in conflict ever since then, and the sun god managed to remove one of the moon goddess' limbs. That limb then became the world where we live." the priestess replied. "We don't know how the gods came to be, because they don't know. They weren't around to know."

"Huh... is there a particular reason why they were at odds? And ... we were told that the sun god vanished, when he tried to attack Vesh, just his descendants survived. Is there a different story on this here, on Vesh?" Anik said, trying to fit it all together.
Speaking to the gods might seem the best course of action after this.

Robin noted the direction, sitting down at the side of the mountain-heading road, making a fire in his hand and taking out his tome to pass the time as they waitied for their companions.

"I suppose that answers that", Timea said on hearing the other priestess' response to Anik, speaking mostly to herself. "Well then. I've been told that the current festivities under way are to celebrate the moon goddess' victory over the sun god, with a long night marking this victory. But I've also been told half-a-year long nights occur annually.
Does this then mean that neither of the gods can truly ever vanquish one another?"

It seems unlikely, though", Timea responded to Anik, glancing to her, then looking back to the priestess. She didn't think looking into Calibeth's disappearance at the time was relevant, but didn't say anything about it.
"Has the goddess ever enlisted the help of... agents, as it were, in Her struggle against the sun god? Or the other way around?"
Sibylla shook her head once again. "There's other ways'a gettin' things across than jus' talkin', ya know?"

"Most of us only worship the moon goddess. There's also the sun god, and various other deities, though they're less powerful and aren't worshiped here to my knowledge. We know they exist because we can see them in the night sky, but other than that I can't tell you anything." the priestess explained. She then said to Timea, "The sun god created the Calibethan people, and the moon goddess created us, and various other people on the world to protect it from the Calibethans."

Robin picked up a few of the bags of supplies with his mind. "I got these ones." He pointed up the road. "This road leads around the mountain to the capital. We're ready to go when you are, and I can carry you if you want."
