"No, it just did prick a little."
Anik laughed when she heard Hillary's "Weeee's", chiming in with some of her own "Weeeeee!"s, as she let Hillary fly a few more rounds. Finally, she set her on the ground, and hugged her again. "Alright, now I need to learn to catch some fish." she said, making herself ready to follow the Vesh'Rah. "I did not really like the seal." she whispered in Hillarys ear.

"Oh, okay." Hillary said as Anik started to walk off, unsure if she should head off with Anik or wait for Timea. "Good luck Anik!" She waved Anik on.

"Are you gonna come with Anik too, Timea?" Hillary asked, curious about how fishing worked here.

Standing by as the Vesh'Rah tried to decipher what she had said, Timea gave a nod when they answered. "Thank you."

With this, and with Anik saying she was ready to follow the man, Timea turned to Hillary and Anik, seeing something being whispered, although she couldn't really hear what was being said. "We aren't talking behind my back, were we?" she asked, jokingly.

"I'll come with and watch, yes. But I won't try, myself." She answered Hillary, looking down to her. After a short pause, she added; "Hmm. I don't like hugging, buuut... if you hold the blanket for me, you can ride on my shoulders again. How about that?"

"Nope, you're back is on that side of you." Hillary shook her head, pointing behind Timea.

Hillary however did smile brightly when Timea stated her position, coming towards Timea but not too close to the flames. "Okay we can do that!" She agreed, waiting for Timea to extinguish the fire first.

Village - Day 7 - 08:12

The man lead the group to a frozen lake, smaller than the one near Pelanna. After a couple of minutes walking around on the ice near the shore, the man stopped when he heard the ice crack slightly under his feet. He stepped away from the cracking area of ice, then knelt down and punched through the ice hard. Having made the hole, he began working on expanding it, until it was wide enough for him to fit through.

"As mentioned, there are two ways of fishing. The first is to get into the water and catch fish under there, and the second is to wait until a fish comes close to the hole, and grab it out of the water."

Anik followed the man, shortly waiting for Timea and Hillary to follow, as she had thought they would want to watch.

Arriving at the lake, she carefully listened to what he was doing. The sounds made it quite obvious that he had punched through the ice, and did work on it a bit more. The situation was not perfect for Anik, but she did not want to make a fuss, and had a good feel for what was going on, so she did say nothing.

"Hmm ... the second method is probably better ..." she remembered her short period of disorientation in the pool. "Actually, I think I can only learn the second method. So, do you want to show ... explain me a few tricks, how to make that easier? I only have experience with catching hare, but I doubt that is comparable."

Timea smiled at Hillary's first response, and knelt down when Hillary agreed to her offer. Extinguishing the flames, Timea untied it, then tied two ends around Hillary's neck. "There, like a mantle~" she said cheerily. "Okay, here comes the fire. Ready? When Hillary would say she was ready, Timea would count to three, then ignite the flames again.

After this, Timea took hold of Hillary beneath her armpits, and called out, "Uuuup you go!", lifting her, and placing Hillary on her shoulders, holding on to the legs. When this done, she followed after Anik when she left.

Village - Day 7 - 08:12

Following Anik and the man, Timea followed as close as she could, but stopped the moment she heard the ice crack under her feet, taking a few steps back.

Hillary Was squeamish about the fire cape as always, closing her eyes as the fire ignited, but when everything seemed okay she opened them again and was much happier when Timea picked her up, kicking her feet a little when she was up on Timea's shoulders. "That way Timea~" Hillary mused, pointing towards Anik.

"Well, you need to pay attention to the fish moving around under the water to see when they're getting close to you. Disturbing the surface of the water slightly can lure them towards you, probably because they want to find out what's going on." he explained. "But it's mostly just patience and good reaction times."

"Hmm ... I think I might have an advantage here. There are only small fish here, no danger of grabbing something dangerous, right?" Anik asked. "Can I try? Is there something I need to keep in mind when going to the edge of the ice?"

Standing by a short distance away, Timea looked on, and listened to the Ketra'Rah explain the technique to Anik. "I imagine using some food to lure the fish to the surface would help, yes?" she chimed in after Anik asked her question.

"Try not to fall in. There shouldn't be anything too large in there." the man replied. He then looked at Timea and said, "That would probably work too, yes."

"Alright." Anik said. She kneeled down, and approached the hole, clicking while doing so, which seemed rather unelegant, but did the job. Feeling the edge, she pulled back her sleeves, then played a little with the surface of the water.

"I should just use one hand, yes?"

"Shh. You shouldn't disturb someone when they're trying to catch something. It requires focus, Hillary", Timea said as Hillary cheered, lightly tapping her on the shin twice, with two fingers. She didn't sound like she was scolding Hillary, more informing her.

"Oop" Hillary covered her mouth with both hands, making an odd tapping sound as the ice hit ice. "Sorry Anik." Hillary said quietly, loud enough for Timea to hear but potentially not enough for Anik to hear. "What should we do then while Anik's fishing?" Hillary asked Timea, leaning her head down so she was looking at her face.

"One hand would probably be faster, but two might have better grip for you. That's something you might need to work out for yourself."

"Alright." Anik repeated. She then continued disturbing the water slightly, with one hand, which she made ready to grip one of the little hearts she sensed moving around below her.

Even though the estimation of where her hand was in relation to a heart, she would be able to at least touch a fish, if one came close. If she was able to catch one was a matter of how quick the fish was, and how slippery its scales where.

If she was not successful, she would, depending on what the issue was, either use both hands, to get a better grp of slippery scales, or try to be faster, by getting into a more unsecure position near the hole.
